Brother, praying for you, as so many others are doing. I am so sorry to hear of your daughters loss and being alone, especially this time of year, is really tough. While words are never enough, remember you are part of spreading The Word - Jesus Christ, and impacting more people than you'll ever know in this lifetime. This site is very important to multitudes and needs your continued engagement among its members. While online is not the same as real life - God is and will continue to use you in this medium and you never know how God will use one thing for another. Thats been my experience, God never answers or provides in the ways I think, but in the way that is best for Him. While I dont know where you live, etc., I am 100% sure Almighty God has folks ready and willing to be used in answer to prayer to supply you with fellowship, transportation, etc.. And if you do not have a solid church home, I am 100% positive between all of us here, someone knows a church for you to attend with them this Wednesday evening or next Sunday. If you are in my area, I would love to have you visit my church and meet everyone. No matter what, use this time to draw even closer to the Lord - after all, its all he wants is your faith to increase to increase your fellowship with him.

I have experienced the sudden loss of a 38 year old Christian daughter to a heart attack. I have experienced several life threatening cancers, multiple surgeries, along with other difficulties. My absolute go to verse is Psalm 18:30 As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.

I know God's way is perfect, complete, thorough with no loose ends. He makes no mistakes! I believe Him. So when these things cone my way I know they came with my loving Savior's approval. So that is fine with me.

The verse reads that the word of the Lord is tried. That means it is tested and found worthy. All that I read in it is absolutely true and I can unfaltering place my trust in it. It has been sufficient to get me through all my afflictions. They have been tough and I struggled at times to grip them firmly, but here I am, limping healthwise but eternally blessed.

And finally the verse says that He is a shield, a buckler to all that trust in Him. That tells me that nothing gets by His shielding of me unless He allows it. So whatever comes my way it went through Him first. And that is fine with me. I want to be able to look back from heaven and know that I trusted Him, and exercised faith in Him through the hard times because of His faithfulness and love for me. He is a wonderful Savior, I want to glorify Him through my affliction. Trust Him in you dark times, you will never be alone, He will provide.

May God bless you. I am sorry for your loss. Life can be so hard and filled with suffering. Yet through it all, Jesus Christ is all we have. Jesus suffered on the cross beyond anything we can imagine. His suffering brought us deliverance. When we suffer, turn to The Great High Priest, Jesus, He knows all about what you are going through. Jesus was touched by our infirmities. He is our true friend. Please read Psalms 91. It has helped me so much. I pray God will bless you with comfort and peace..

There is no pain like the death of a child. I lost my son at age 34. I pray that the LORD bring strong and compassionate Christians into your life who will come along side and help bear your burden, but until they do, may the LORD wrap his loving arms around you and give you peace. Run to Jesus! He will never leave nor forsake you. Pray and cast your cares on Him because He cares about you!

    Dear Sea Slay,

As a mother who lost her 19 year old son 15 years ago, I cannot tell you that the pain goes away. I can tell you that God continues to give me grace daily to go on with a piece of my heart in heaven. On the night of my son's passing a pastor friend read to us the account of king David's sons death. We like king David had been by our son's bedside for 10 days , hardly leaving the hospital. But in 2 Samuel 12:22-23 David says "'And he said, While the child was yet alive, I fasted and wept: for I said, Who can tell whether God will be gracious to me, that the child may live? 23 But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.

These verses have since been a blessing to me. I have the assurance that my son is with my Lord and Savior and when I go he will be there waiting for me. I pray that God will grant you comfort and peace in the loss of your daughter. Also that God will give you some Godly people to help you through your grief. Look to grief support groups or just a good bible believing church that you can fellowship with. Our church family was with us throughout our son's hospital stay and his passing. We're so thankful for their help in our time of need.

    May God bless you,

    Jan

I am so sorry that things are so bad for you. I understand the loss of a child. It is a pain no one can understand unless they have lived it. I have been there and without God it would be impossible to survive. May God hold you close and comfort you. Remember you are not alone.

    Matthew 11:28-30

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

I cannot even begin to imagine the pain you are going through. I am so sorry for your loss. Trust in Christ to get you through this dark time in your life.

Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

God has a purpose in all that happens. We may not see it now, or ever for that matter. But He WILL use it for His Glory. Let your light shine through the darkness that He may be glorified. I'm praying for you.

I pray for you to have a friend come your way that is close by and faithful to the Lord. The Lord is closer than a brother and is always able to get in touch with. The Lord knows when a sparrow falls to the ground and cares for you even more. May you feel the Lord's everlasting arms. God bless.
