Dear "Jacquie", so sad for you and get quarrelsome as neighbors. We can assume that the couple are not believers, I would probably go to the police if they do not understand what you meant. Another thing that might be good to do now. Is to gather as many neighbors as possible, who have been in a similar situation with these people before you go to the Police. It may sting a little more when they see that you are a united flock of neighbors who do not find themselves in such as what you explained.

Hello Laurel. That would be a very difficult determination to make as not only are there many factors involved, but ultimately God alone is able to know & understand the person & his shortcomings & how that person stands before Him as a result.

Simply from a human standpoint & a Bible reader, I believe that if a person can understand error & personal sin, however young or infirmed he may be, if he can understand that sin violates God's design for him & brings him (& all men) before God in judgement, if he can understand the Gospel message that God sent His Son to die to make reparation & give him restoration, then a mental illness or any other infirmity cannot absolve him from guilt.

But this comes as a very cut & dry statement from me; God alone knows where a person is at, concerning understanding of himself, his actions & God's offer of salvation & spiritual healing. If you are enquiring about someone in this situation, by conversing with him you will know to what level he can understand his own behaviour & God's offer of spiritual healing. He would certainly need God's intervention in his life & man's restraints upon him if his acts against others or himself are dangerous. I realize that I write ignorantly based only on what you've shared, & don't mean to be callous towards anyone who is genuinely in a very difficult place to understand himself or spiritual things.

There are many issues here: your own spiritual condition (i.e. whether you're born again of God's Spirit or not); what you have been taught concerning sin & repentance (e.g. some happily to go weekly into a confessional to present their sins to a priest & receive absolution, having no deep lasting change in heart upon their exit); belief in your eternal security in salvation without a sense of moral & spiritual responsibility to attain to God's high standards; losing the consciousness of the depravity of one's sins because of a perpetual engagement in them, thus creating excuses to continue in them; even dismissing some sins for the satisfaction they give, e.g. maybe in your case, a need for companionship with its resulting emotional & physical pleasure you receive; & etc.

We all have 'besetting' sins: those sin(s) that seem to regularly raise their ugly heads to which we have to either attend to or succumb to. Even taking the sin of 'speaking lies' is all too often a sin that many hardly consider sinful because it is either considered at the 'lower end' of sins or it matters not to God or man. But the spiritual person, walking in constant step with the Spirit, is always aware of their weak area & is on guard & will shun any form of lying because it is sin & it grieves God Who lives in Him. And the same with attraction to the opposite sex: there's always a line that must be drawn that one must stay well behind. Men can easily succumb (some say, that's how we're wired), therefore we must be the more vigilant. To the one 'in Christ', however appealing that can be to our flesh, we must walk away, even run, as Joseph did when enticed (Genesis chapter 39).

I would leave you with 1 John chapter 3, especially noting those given over to sinful or to righteous living; not single acts, but acts wilful, habitual, or of character. But God always provides His resources ( Ephesians 6:10-18).

I agree with the answers here and feel that besides study and thinking deeply on God's word that prayer can be another form of meditation. The healthy kind, not the worldly polluted kind.

I agree that the sons of God are those that were following God were enticed by the looks of carnal women.

I was ministering today to a lady who asked me why as a Christian she was having to go through all the health issues she was having. She is faithful to the church and a great person. She can not understand why she is so sick. I struggled to give her answers. I hope someone can help me answer her.

This is a general quest and not specific to any one particular reference within our Holy Bible.

I an thinking in terms of Our LORDS promises of resurrection, life after death and forgiveness of sins. These for me are the foundation stones of my belief and I see them as one single issue Hope! without Hope end of life would be intolerable. It is Hope that gives me all the encouragement I need to continue to enjoy my life and to be able to face the inevitability of death, (I am 81 years young and luckily hail and hearty),allow death makes me feel sad but only because of the physical separation from loved one that I will leave behind in this world. So having explained my basis thinking here is my problem and that about which I am looking for advice.

FORGIVENESS OF SINS - I am a multi sinner in terms of the 12 commandments although by todays moral standards as seen from human eyes perhaps not excessively so nevertheless I am most definitely in the eyes of GOD a sinner. I obviously admit and confess my sins but when doing so and asking for forgiveness I feel no remorse!!!!!!?????

I feel vaguely sorry that I have not strictly adhered to GODS law but how can GOD forgive me if I am not truly and deeply sorry for what I have done.

My greatest sin is adultery and adultery many times repeated and enjoyed in my time on this earth. Repeated to the extent that even now, well into physical decline and dotage I have no doubt that should I be presented with the opportunity I would happily repeat my sin.

Is there anyone among this community that would like to try and help me with this dilemma?

I agree with you, Marke. I don't believe the 'sons of God' are angels. Not one of the old time preachers/commentators I've read believed so either.

I believe the godly line of Seth began to degenerate and instead of taking godly women to themselves for the sake of maintaining a holy race, they looked upon the fair daughters of men and began to mix, believers and unbelievers....much like today's ecumenism.

Once there was no holy race left that was totally devoted to the One true God...destruction ensued!

The sad thing about history is that we don't learn from history, Marke! What has been is again...and the crazy thing is, people do the same things as those 'back then' did who apostasized, and are deluded into thinking they will come out of it all without ending up with the same tragic results as they did in the past! Lord, help us!

Satan, the great impostor, tries to counterfeit what God does. Thus we see false religions also practicing their own so-called 'meditation', but their 'meditation is so lame. They 'meditate' on crystals, candles, and every other kind of vanity, for they meditate not in God's Word! Their religions are a sham, a shame, and they are deceived!

If God know everything before it happened ,why did he create Lucifer if he knew he would rebel and make human sins too and bring them with him to hell. Why did he create Adam and Eve if he knew they would sins against him?

Some believe that while Jesus' body was in the tomb, His spirit was in hell.Scripture doesn't support that position when it is taken in context and we look at the meaning of the word "hell." In the Old Testament, the place of the dead or the place of departed souls was called "SHEOL." It was to this place that all SOULS of the dead went to await resurrection.

In the New Testament, we find the story of Lazarus and the rich man who both died and went to Hades ( Luke 16:19-31). The KJV translates the Greek word "hades" as hell but most other translations use the Greek word. HADES had two separated parts: Those who died in faith believing in God's promise waited for the resurrection in Abraham's Bosom. Those who died spiritually separated from God wait in torment for the resurrection unto death, eternal separation from God. The rich man was on the torment side and Lazarus was in ABRAHAMS BOSOM which was called PARADISE by the LORD Jesus Christ himself when He addressed the thief who found faith the day Jesus was crucified ( Luke 23:42-43)

For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment" ( 2 Peter 2:4). The word translated HELL here is not the Greek word HADES but is the Greek word TARTARUS meaning ABYSS or the lowest regions. This could very well be the GULF that was fixed between the PLACE OF TORMENT and Abraham's Bosom ( Luke 16:26).

Wherefore He saith, When JESUS ascended up on high, He led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. Now that He ascended, what is it but that He also DESCENDED first into the lower parts of the earth? He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that He might fulfill all things. Ephesians 4:8-10)

Leading captivity captive seems to refer to Jesus taking all those that waited in Paradise, to heaven to be with Him. The descending into the "lower parts" then refers to Jesus mission of declaring Victory!

I lived in one of the most religious city's in the US. Tulsa, for 3 years. Went to church twice on Sundays and Wednesday (intercessory prayer group).

First church I tried, believed they should pair up all the single people do they could get married. I guess they didn't even have to be attracted to each other? I fled.

I was driving around on Sunday looking for a Baptist Church. When the Holy Spirit says: go up 3 Streets and make a left turn. I drive a couple of miles, when he says " turn in there". It was huge. I get joyfully greeted as the usher opens the door. I see a sea of black, brown, white, Asian, elderly church moms, deacons everywhere. They were all clapping to a song, bobbing or dancing, singing loudly. Heaven could hear that!!! The Holy Spirit said, " that is your shepherd." I sat down, but pretty soon I was clapping too. Joy was dripping off the rafters. I have cassettes of sermons I still listen to and cry.

My Pastor married a closet witch and years later Pastor became Apostate. Left the Church. Some people followed him__not JESUS. Pastor is on YouTube now preaching heresy and pro gay, transgender, if it feels good, do it. The Holy Spirit told me why he really left God.

It's a warning to all of us. If you let people lift you up, INSTEAD OF JESUS, you are in the wrong church.**Ask the Holy Spirit to take you to your Shepherd. One who will carry you in prayer, faithfully.**

All of you who are anointed by the Holy Spirit should follow His Leading. The anointing BREAKS THE YOKE OF SIN. The person is freed to hear the scriptural TRUTH.

I can't even count how many times, as a street minister, the Holy Spirit warned me, said go here go there, or stop for coffee and there would be someone who would see my ragged Bible and ask me if I believed the Good Book?

I would like prayers for my wife, she has COPD and congestive heart failure and can not walk about 20 feet before her lags gives out. She was in the hospital for 30 days with ulcers on top of each other. She had to have 30 units of blood. I Thank You and May God Bless You for the prayers.

You sound like me 40 years ago. My love life was many betrayals. I blamed God. Rama's far as I could, BUT He came to get me at my lowest point in life (near to death). He came to my house because I wasn't going to church.

He let me see Him, I felt like I had been resuscitated. Shocked. I was accused by a pal that astrology was FALSE. 2 Timothy 3:5. I had an old Bible, never opened. I read every scripture on stars, astrologers, false teachers, and then I saw the death sentence (promise) for being an astrologer.

We need to put our faith in God NO MATTER WHAT PEOPLE write in science websites. A mission to a planet will not explain creation. Dead planets have water beds; once having had water. But observations have proved no other planets have abundant water, visible, like Earth.
