Hello Edith. Revelation 1:16 is but one verse within the whole Book of the Revelation given to the Apostle John, to record what he sees ( Revelation 1:19). And what the risen Lord Jesus revealed to him in this verse was a part of how Jesus appeared to him (vv 13-16).

In verse 16, John saw seven stars in Jesus' right Hand. We understand that these stars represented the angels (possibly, the leaders) of the seven Churches (the golden candlesticks) in Asia Minor (Turkey): v 20. These were real assemblies of believers in those seven cities & were precious to the Lord, as is indicated by His position amongst them & having them close to Him (in His right Hand). Yet, as we read in the following chapters, not all of them were pure in His Sight & they would be judged & disciplined. Yet the Lord would persevere with them (as He does with us when we go astray) as He also did with Israel, when the promise was given them, "Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God." ( Isaiah 62:3).

John also saw a sharp two-edged sword proceeding from Jesus' Mouth. This is the primary weapon that Jesus uses to subdue His enemies (maybe at that great final battle). We know that the sword is often used to denote the Word of God ( Ephesians 6:17; Hebrews 4:12; Revelation 19:13). And God's Word is Truth - it is pure, it cuts & divides, it converts, it blesses. No enemy, both now & in that final day, will be able to withstand God's Truth. Where they once rejected it, even rejecting God's Word made flesh, they will feel the keenness of the 'blade' & will fall, succumbing to the power of that Word. Even Satan flees when God's Word is brought to bear upon him.

And Jesus' countenance appeared to John as the midday Sun in its zenith. One can imagine John turning away from such Brightness. As we read in Malachi 4:2, "the Sun of righteousness" arises to heal those who fear Him, but will also burn the chaff into ashes of those who do wickedly.

Dear Alex, lets go back to our conversation.

When the Scriptute says that God will pour His Spirit to all people, does it is literally mean to ALL people no matter what they want or believe? If this is the case then the muslims, the buddhists and all other people have got the Holly Spirit that "leads them to the truth?" The truth of their religion? This can't be right, can it?

Lets see what Jesus said about this.

    John 14:16-17

" And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you."

Jesus said that the world can not receive the HS because they don't know It.

    Read also Galatians 4:6

" And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father."

The above says that the HS is given by God only to His children. Can we agree on that?

Now if we don't really need anybody else than the HS to teach us the Word of God, how come there are so many different beliefs amongst Christians? Don't we all have the HS that leads us to the truth? Which one (truth)? If that is the case why God has placed teachers in the church? If all churches are falling away during these last days how come that that Isaiah said about the knowledge of God covering the whole world comes true? Because the HS will teach people? Do you see many people outside churches that know or want to know anything about God? Since this practically doesn't happen, shouldn't we think that the scripture means something else? Remember that Paul said to Timothy that people of the last days will be the worst of all ages? 2 Timothy 3:1-5

Question. Can one be saved if one doesn't believe in Jesus? There are so many scriptures that say the opposite. I give you some. John 3:18-19, John 5:24, John 5:28-29, Acts 2::38 etc

There is more to say but not now...

The world we currently live in draws even strong Christians to question who they truly love. I myself need to constantly remember this WORLD IS NOT MY HOME. I am retired and disabled which causes me with plenty of free time to explore things that are not Godly. I struggle with watching too much television at times. There truly is to much filth in new shows and movies. I want to live fully for Jesus each day. I have children and grandchildren who have nothing to do with God as far as I can see. I pray that somehow or some way they would be exposed to the Good News of our Lord and Savior Jesus. I value other Christians prayer.

At my previous church adultery was tolerated by the pastor and it was blatant. The entire congregation was whispering about it but was afraid to address it because it was the pastors brother. I was told not to pay attention to him but listen to the pastor. My reply was how can I listen to him when he is not teaching the Bible. What am I missing ?

John 20 -- Luke 1:13 But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.

14 And thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth.

15 For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb.

67 And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying, 68 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people

Yes, The gift of the Holy ghost was given on Pentecost, but John/Baptist was filled in his mothers womb. And Zacharias the day John was born. There is nothing that God can't do. Matthew chapter 2 is how this wonderful plan came to all the world, all people of all nations, all tongues, all colors Who so ever will let him come. Glory to God for his son Jesus

In the 1000 year reign here on earth, I was wondering where we will be living or staying when we are resting? Will we be like the apostles going about with Jesus without a dwelling place before the end of the 1000 year reign? I know that Jesus will take care of us at all times, I have no doubt of that, because He has always provided for me and my family here on earth. I know that the Temple of God will come down after the 1000 year reign. Will our mansions still be there when we are reigning forever with Jesus. It may not be in the Bible and I am not really worried about it, because God will have given me a glorious body when Jesus calls me up to be with Him forever. I'm mostly just curious?

Thank you for your answer to my question, May the Lord bless you today and always.

Repent and be Baptized in the name of the Father Son and Holy Spirit.

In this verse take note Father Son and Holy Spirit are all titles

Therefore we should be Baptize in the name which is Jesus.

The LORD be praised in all things. HIS love, mercies, and grace be foremost in our hearts as we go forth proclaiming the Salvation of the LORD. May we be found faithful in everything we do in HIS name.

May we be diligent in prayer as we pray for our nation's leaders to turn to the salvation and authority of the LORD JESUS CHRIST as we face our current economic, social, political, and religious woes.

Thank You LORD for hearing and answering our prayers. Amen, even so LORD come quickly.

Hello Mary. It's obvious to me that you are seeking God, yet you're using "Mary" as your advocate, which is against God's plan for salvation. I grew up in the Catholic Church, and is wasn't until God opened my eyes and heart to His Son Jesus that I was able to see clearly that the only way to the Father is through His Son Jesus. I encourage you to continue reading His Word, while asking God to open your eyes and heart to His Truth.

Visions seem more prevalent then ever!

The vision not unlike Peters , who saw a great sheet with unclean things on it. Would change His ministry, not only for the Jews but unto the Gentiles.

A constant message even today for those Jews and Gentiles who do not believe the words of Christ and who He is!

This message that continues in the fearless.

The disciples who were martyred, Martin Luther, who lived in hiding, and William Tyndale who would be burned at the stake!

There are those who will not be intimidated by the accuser. The accuser who wishes nothing more than to stifle the word!

Though shackled, mouths that have been stopped, the fear of this one , who wishes our total separation from anything that is good! of eternal damnation, these being His devises, continue , even as before!

The power of God lives in those who believe! The power that Jesus Christ is risen, that there is nothing that can separate us from the love of God!

Repent and be Baptized in the name of the Father ,the Son, and the Holy Spirit

There is probably a good chance when the Bible talks of become a little child it means we need to become humble. Some of things that cause pride is knowledge. 1 Cor. 8:1 Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth. As I get older I ask myself if I am just an instructor or a father? I think 1Peter 1, 5-8 is referring to this when it says : And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; and to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; and to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8 for if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Virtue and knowledge are the first things to add and come relatively easily, but temperance knowing when to use our knowledge. Then add patience because even when we we think we have used our knowledge temperately we need patience for people to come to the understanding. Then we add godliness, brotherly kindness and charity. Forcing more knowledge down people doesn't necessarily bring them to an understanding of God and the scriptures. Eph. 3:19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. If a person is in a Spirit filled church he will be able to observe church fathers. They are not filled with a lot of wind. They know when to speak, how to speak and what to speak. James 1:19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: A note of this verse in James says "every man". A good exercise for ourselves is when we are in a conversation with someone ask ourselves who is doing most the speaking and is it balanced enough for edification and learning from both parties.

If the Word of God isn't in us then we are dead in our sins , the Word is Christ , not the law , the law brings death , Christ is our life . Except we repent we shall perish , die forever , the wages of sin is death , sin comes by the law , Christ is life , without him we perish forever . Christ is the love of God in the form of a man , love and forgiveness and compassion , if these things aren't in us then Christ isn't in us and we are the walking dead .

God still moves with the power of Faith. Just because we don't see that movement the same way we read it, doesn't mean God is stagnant.

I was at a bible study with my friend and her husband came home with a severe ankle injury. They were extremely upset, since her husband is military and this injury was a potential surgery and Medical Discharge. I just felt the Lord telling me to pray over him and as nervous as I was I did. I prayed for healing and the peace that comes only from Jesus, along with other things.

The first doctors exam showed a severe ankle injury. Then the weekend hit which means no referral or further treatment til monday.

After the second exam to confirm the referral, the doctor apparently made a shocking discovery. That the injury was somehow very different now. Instead of a severe ankle injury with a referral, it was just a minor sprain. That amount of relief for that family is something few experience. No one can explain the drastic different between these examinations, but God. He hears prayers and He answers them. I waited a month to hear any news, some people wait much longer. No matter where you are in your wait for the Lord, just know that he hears your prayer and an answer will come. He has a picture that is much larger than us and His timing is perfect because of that. Keep waiting on the LORD.

I think about this Gal. 6 : 15 many times when i hear folks talk about the law....In Christ Jesus Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision availeth any thing but only a New Creature...Meaning a new innerman which is the H.G. that CHILD of Promise...If we cd keep the law it wd not plz God simply b/c our adamic nature is in rank with satan....Man trying to plz God with the works of the law is like putting lipstick on a pig and expecting God to marry the pig...Thats y Jesus is saying you must be converted and become as a lil Child...A lil Child is Indicative of a new CREATURE...A heavenly Creature...As we have borne the image of the earthy we must also bear the image of the heavenly....Only by the blood of the lamb can we plz God.

......Jesus flat out tells us Search the scriptures ( all the law and prophets ) in them you think you have Eternal life but it is them that testify of me....Which is the H.G. that testifies of him ...living words...living beings the BLOOD OF THE LAMB.. the new Covenant, he tells us of the H.G. That Spirit of truth a living being that is gonna be born in us....Thats the only thing that plzs God...Not Circumcision nor uncircumcision, LAW OR NO LAW its only the blood of the lamb that plzs God.

......All our works are filthy rags in the sight of God...Its only the blood of the lamb that plzs God...Thats y Bro, Paul is saying if righteousness came by the law CHRIST DIED IN VAIN.... Gal. 2 : 21....Sin is the trangression of the law but if Christ lives is us via his good seed then we cannot sin and if we cannot sin then the law is fulfilled in a perfect sence.....Thats how he will fulfilled by making it impossible to sin..Do we make void the law by faith God forbid we establish the law....
