Wesley's Notes for Genesis 18:19

18:19 I know Abraham that he will command his children, and his household after him - This is a bright part of Abraham's character. He not only prayed with his family, but he taught them, as a man of knowledge; nay, he commanded them as a man in authority, and was prophet and king, as well as priest, in his own house. And he not only took care of his children, but of his household: his servants were catechized servants. Masters of families should instruct, and inspect the manners of all under their roof. And this is given as the reason why God would make known to him his purpose concerning Sodom; because he was communicative of his knowledge, and improved it for the benefit of those that were under his charge.

John, I believe the Scripture totally answer that for you so you don 't need to wonder. Gen. 18:23-33 tells us the story of Sodom and Gomorrah. Lev. 18:22 says, "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind it 's an abomination. Rom. 1:26-27 says, "For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use of their bodies into that which is against nature. Verse 27 go on to tell us the men left the natural use of the women first homosexuality and brought on the nation God 's just destruction. Don 't get me wrong all sin is sin and all of us have sinned, but this particular sin is what the Scripture is speaking of. We as a people are not only watching other but are condoning that sin of others in the name of beings free minded and modern. Just the Supreme court is taking up the marriage equality issue in a so call Christian nation the US. Many States have as you know have already past laws legalizing what God has already declared to be an abomination these marriages. Therefore, it doesn 't appear that the majority of people in this are ready to do what 2 Chron.7:14 which says, if my people which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways then will I hear from Heaven, will forgive their sin, and heal their land. God bless us all and in the understanding of His Word. All praise and glory be to our God through Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. Amen.

Eloy, the Scripture only speak of one pregnancy by the Holy Ghost and that is Mary the mother of Jesus Christ. Everyone else or every other humanbeing was born of a man and woman. Even children born of surrogate mothers including Mary the mother of Jesus Christ herself. There is no Scripture in the holy bible that even suggest otherwise. Isa. Says, "Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel which mean God with us . Lu. 1:31-35 the angel Gabriel appeared to the Virgin Mary and announced the birth of Jesus Christ by her through the power of God by the Holy Ghost. God bless us all and in the understanding of His Word. Glory be to God in the highest. Amen.
