The woman thought that it would be wonderful to be the mother of Jesus. She would be happy if her son was as great as him. His mother must be happy because God had *blessed her with such a son. That was true but Jesus spoke of something more important. The natural relationship with him is not so important. But God *blesses those people who have a right attitude to his word. They hear the word of God and they obey it.
Please pray for me. I struggle a lot with being single and I truly desire to be married. I am worried that I will never get married and that concerns me because I don't like being single at all. Please pray that Jesus Christ will help me find a wife. I truly desire a marriage that is blessed by God and I need God's mercy and help with finding the right Christian lady to marry. Proverbs 18:22 says that he who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord. I'm asking for myself. I was admitted to the hospital on Monday because my water broke. Today I'm only 33wks pregnant. If I don't go into labor before next Friday the plan is to induce me then at 34wks. I know it's selfish to want to go home with my son when I go but without a miracle there's no chance. It's rare mothers are so fortunate. I know God's timing is not our own and in recent weeks He has reminded me of this. From the beginning his hand has been in this pregnancy. 1 Samuel 1:7 For this child I have prayed. My husband and I prayed for a boy. Now our precious Samuel David needs prayer. To be healthy with no lasting effects of being a preemie and God willing he will prove his readiness to come home! The emotional strain is very hard on both my husband and I. He's not able to stay with me because 1. We have 3 other children at home 2. It's over an hour drive one way to the hospital. The toll on us all is mountainous. Only added to for me because I won't be able to stay with my son around the clock until he can home unless he proves he's ready from the start. Them I will be driving back and forth whole my husband returns to work. There are just so many details and things to say.
Please pray for Betty B. Her husband of 50 years passed away three weeks ago after a long battle with health issues which left her drained and exhausted. and now the other day her son suddenly passed away. She is overwhelmed with grief. She knows our Lord. She needs comfort and healing. Thank you.
