Mt 22:7 And when the king heard [of it], he was wroth. He who insults or assails a king's heralds assails the king's majesty. Destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. Strikingly fulfilled in the fate of the Jews. The Roman armies were chosen to inflict the retribution upon the Jewish nation.
