Here it speaks of John the Baptist, and Jesus said John was the greatest of all the prophets.
Verse 15 says John was filled with the Holy Ghost from his mother's womb . So John did not live a life of sin . Yet John is not The Son of God like Jesus , because John has a fleshy father called Zechariah.
Jesus father was God via the Holy Spirit .
Two very different births both living Holy lives .
Jesus is the Son of God not a prophet like John . John expressed this at Jesus Baptism.
Jesus Born of God and God being with him . Yet only the Son of God .
Not God himself . Two distinct identities.
If you asked Jesus for his address then it would have been from Nazareth.
If you asked God the father for his address it would be in heaven , eternally, With no limitations.
People often say Jesus was before the world .
Yes so is anyone born of God . If a person is born of God , God is with them (God does not have limitations Of this world but is eternal) . Jesus was born of God in a way John was not .
No man can say I was before the world unless he is born of God .
John was the best of all and acknowledged he was not worthy to unloose Jesus boot straps .
I hope this helps some , I don't want to write a book .
"And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition. For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death: But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free. And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother; Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye."Mar 7:9-13
Corban was referring to something that has been set aside as a gift to be given to God at some later date, but which is still in the possession of the owner. According to contemporary Jewish tradition the person who made this claim was absolved from responsibility to support or assist his parents, a clear violation of the Mosaic law to honor one's parents.
Today, we are not under the Mosaic Law and other financial options may be available to people in retirement. But this, too, does not absolve a child from taking care of elderly or disabled parents who may need financial, emotional and spiritual support.
Honor your mother and father as you ought.
1 Timothy 5:4 (KJV) But if any widow have children or nephews, let them learn first to shew piety at home, and to requite their parents: for that is good and acceptable before God.
The church is the New Jerusalem. The ancient nation of Isreal can only access God the Father through Christ, their promised Messiah. If they reject Christ, they have not God the Father ( 1 John 5:12; 2:23).
God told me to tell everybody that he is coming and told me to warn the very least among us from the son of perdition (doom), the anti-christ, from Daniel's little horn (the kingdom of Judea). On march 22, 2019, God woke me up about 2:02 in the morning to the sound of the trumpet, followed by the declaration, "Jesus, the Messiah."
God also told me "The next One World Order will be Communism where the military again will be champion."
He told me also, "The Beast will come from the Mediterranean" and "When the World Dictator comes he will have a translator with him."
He has told me many things that I have documented and will share for free when I am done writing.
Please join me in letting others know that our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is coming very soon but before he comes, the anti- christ ( 2 Thess. 2:1-12).
Those who reject Christ are in opposition to Christ or anti- christ (Judaism and Islam). They are striving over an inheritance from their father Abraham that they can only access through the cross.
Another example is that God called the first man and woman Adam which means earth ( Gen 5:3). Adam (male) was the one to name Adam his wife (female) eve. Because they are our foreparents all of humanity is called "earth"...besides read John 10:34-38 and Psalm 82:1-6. Those who are born of God the Psalmist says are gods. Jesus said, "I and the Father are one" ( John 10:30-33; Deuteronomy 6:4; Philippians 2:6).
Jesus also called the church his bride so we are also one with him.
Any title of God is inherited by Christ who is the begotten of the Father ( Psalm 2:7; Hebrews 5:5). Our children refer to us as father and mother although we ourselves call out parents the same...I hope this helps.
However, I will not continue this... Matthew 13:41. May God bless you.
HIS WORDS ARE SPIRIT AND LIFE !
Believeth thou this?
I AM THAT I AM !
Believest thou this?
So what is it you show any, when you yourself do not believe!
Faith find you and set you free in The Mighty name of JESUS
Matthew 28:19 "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:"
John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
John 1:2 "The same was in the beginning with God."
John 1:14 "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."
1 John 5:7 "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one."
1 John 5:8 "And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one."

Keep going till you finish up in Revelation.
Some people like to debate on Genesis because, mostly they read it too fast. Avoid that for now. :)
Proverbs is full of wisdom
Psalms teaches How to pray and praise.
A firm foundation on Jesus makes the rest of the Bible easier to learn. From Genesis to Revelation the Bible is about Jesus Christ.

Adam and Eve died SPIRITUALLY, not physically. They were banished from Eden, but still alive. Read through to the genealogies.
Same thing with Noah:
7 And he sent forth a raven, which went forth to and fro, until the waters were dried up from off the earth.
8 Also he sent forth a dove from him, to see IF THE WATERS were abated from off the face of the ground;
9 But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark.
10 And he stayed yet other seven days; and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark;
11 And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were ABATED from off the earth.
Jesus was coming through Noah's bloodline/ genealogy.
2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
Yes Adam lived 900+ years human wise and died in one day in the eyes of the Lord, since a day to the Lord is as
1,000 years.
There is no discrepancy with the Bible that I have found.
Happy to offer my opinion.
1. Genesis 2:17. Adam did die. Death and aging didn't happen before that. So, Adam was instantly separated from God spiritually (spiritual death), and began a slow process of physical death from that point on via aging. And if God killed him instantly, you'd probably have people criticizing that too and making negative claims and assumptions about that, so he allowed Adam (and people in general) to have a long life.
"for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." - sounds like you're interpreting this as thou shalt surely die 'that day', but it doesn't say that. It says in 'the day' that he eats it ... this will happen (death), but it didn't say how soon the death part would occur. It seems to mean spiritual death + death through aging.
2. Genesis 7:4 - "every living substance". The Bible already explained this. Just like in writing class you often write a general thesis at the beginning then later explain more specifically what it means this is what's done here. It doesn't mean it's inaccurate. Simply keep reading. Gen 7:21-23 it specifically says "And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man:"
22 says each with nostrils, 23 gives examples which are land animals. It says substance, but appears to mean animals.
The other possibility is that the olive tree was dead and came back to live when the waters receded, but I don't think so, because it would have explained that when it was specific in verses 21-23.
God said Adam would die "in that day" Genesis 2:17 that he partook of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, but he lived until 930 years old.
God said that the flood of Noah's time would destroy "every living substance" ( Genesis 7:4, Genesis 7:23) from the face of the earth," yet the dove sent by Noah plucked an olive leaf from an olive tree after the flood. A tree is a living substance.
If these phrases are taken at face value, would there not be a discrepancy in the Word of God?
God has shown mercy to sinners by the gift of His Son Jesus the Christ and who was obedient to His Father's will to the point of death and that whoever believes in God's gift being that His Son paid for all the believers sins will receive God's tender mercy. See mankind is now born with sin and then he commits sins of willfulness and sins of ignorance. Without remission of sin God must judge mankind because God is Holy and Justified. He's is God....We are not. But by His mercy which is obviously tender He made a way out of the death penalty for us by offering His Son as a replacement for us and all of the worlds sins were poured out on Him when He hung on the tree. If that isn't mercy for us I don't know what is? God so loved me that He gave His only Son for me a lost sinner and now I can hold my head high knowing that His Kingdom will come and I will be remembered and have a life without the decay that holds me now. He is tender and merciful in His ways that I can't understand but if I read His Word I will know the path.
Believe and you will be saved. That is tender mercy.
Believe.
