But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.
God forbade Noah and his sons while Jesus said,"Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you."(Jn.6.53) Along side we shall place another verse. " I am the living bread which came down from heaven:" As bread of life he came down to do the Will of the Father."For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me."( Jn 6,38, 51) What was the Will but expressed by the voice of the Lord. Thus the Word become flesh and analogous to it is the blood which expresses his humanity. There is an emblem in the Will of the Father, which is the Lamb slain before the worlds began. Blood required of his Son was shed on the cross and not elsewhere.Partaking of bread and wine during the communion was symbolic of the Covenant everlasting. This newness is determined in heaven. "And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me./ After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me."(1 Cor.11.24-25) This is how God also remembers. In this context we came across "And God remembered Noah (8.1) It is not flesh or blood but ilife what causes remembrance both in God and man.
There is no blood found anywhere in heaven where the Word circular makes the sound (the Will) and sign (the blood)
Our heart serves as an altar so a living sacrifice is our reasonable service. "and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul."
Significance of the number Five is recalled in the brazen altar.(Exod.27.1-3) four square with four horns. Word of God the same north, south east west. Jesus Christ,as fulfilment.
In the Old testement and the tabernacle you had the place of sacrifice . Which was in the outer court under the light of day and the blood of the lamb was taken from that place and into the most Holy place not seen by the naked eye and into thevoresencevif God . The tabernacle made with hands was made after pattern shown to Moses in heaven . ( Hebrews) . How then do you say "there is no blood in heaven'? For while the blood of Abel spoke to God from the earth does not the blood of Christ speak to God " of better things than Abel" in heaven? As a witness on our behalf .For a witness is expected to speak .
And did not the Lord forbid Mary to touch him fir " He had not yet been to the Father "? Yet later allowed her too.
For the Lord being our high priest was following the pattern of the old who was not to be touched by anyone while He carried the blood of the lamb . So likewise the Lord . And after the resurrection did he not say " flesh and bone"? Rather than the usual ' flesh and blood' ? Because as you said of the scriptures " the life is in the blood" His body was not now animated by blood but by Spirit . His blood had bern shed "for the Sin of the world "and had been presented to the Father who received it and found it acceptable .Thus the Holy Spirit could now be given .
