Jesus Christ 'is before all things, and by him all things consist'. Take this passage for objective lesson:
"And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends." (Zec.13.6) Notice the time: in that day.
This day is thus set in context of the day decreed for his Son.Ps.2.7. Zechariah's prophesy concerns Jesus Christ the Good Shepherd. 'Wounds in thine hands' cannot have any other meaning.Wounds are caused by nails on the cross.
Notice 'the house of my friends.' As the Saviour of the whole World the house has only one owner, The world framed by the word of God.(Heb.11.3)
"and his own received him not."(Jn1.11) Christ as the son over his house comes into his own. Parable of the Wicked Husbandmen relates to Israel. They are only a part and Moses a servant.(Heb.3.4-6) God so loved the world and sent him. He was falsely accused and sent to Pilate. Nothing short of crucifixion did satisfy the Jews. Thus the husbandmen trespassed in the God's vineyard. "They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons."(Mt.21.41) Know nothings read but they have no clue whatsoever that Israel is a parallel world ruled by another king so they are the tares mentioned in the Parable of the Tares. There are other husbandmen which shall render him his fruits in their season. Every believer who abides in Christ does so, because truth as the incorruptible seed of the word brings forth fruits. Col.2.9-10. He is a husband man and brings fruits in its season. Know nothings in this forum shall keep on discussing indifferent to the truth God has set in every heart, all fashioned alike.
With all due respect, these people you are calling "Know nothings" in this forum have shown that they have quite a bit of biblical knowledge and bring good things to this forum to share, and are very much appreciated. But I suppose being called a "know nothing" would be a little less harsh than being called a heretic, as you have called some. I am surprised that you are being allowed to go this far with your rhetoric!
Sorry if truth hurts, Heretic is one who confuses truth with a lie. "I am the truth" said Jesus. Truth shall make you free. If one knows it he would not be interpreting from a preconceived notion taught by some sect and keep on harping as you do since I came into this forum. Know nothing is not as bad as not having respect for what God has invested in you through his Son and what lay in store for you if you quit like man for the sake of your Saviour Lord. As a person I have nothing to go by but from your own posts I know you moved over to the midwest to be near your grandchildren who are 20 min. drive from your home. I am quoting from memory. Don't laugh me off I do pray for you since you figure in my mental landscape. Cross my heart, you are complete in Christ. Only don't make it a patchwork of verses to justify the credo of some sects. These verses are part of a larger continent and oceans. Some have floundered and made a shipwreck of their spiritual lives.
Here is rule #1
