(Heb.10.5) God created man after our likeness so Adam was created as a double for his Son. The breath of God kickstarted the glorious body of man so he was not only after our image but also 'after his likeness.' It is what we consider: his deep sleep and creation of Adam foreshadows the purpose for which God prepared the body. It was the cumination of faith holding two worlds framed by the word of God. Definition of faith is the substance of the Fellowship of God with Man in which every believer is invited to enter and into the rest of God. Man and woman were naked but they were not ashamed. It was God's rest so the inner man is sign of the redemption of their soul, so to speak.
"for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground./ But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground."(2.5-6) Besides the breathr of God the mist from the earth watering the garden speaks of the anointing from his Son because of whom the earth abides forever. In terms of the salvation how on earthy heresy has crept in. Once saved man is saved forever. A lie to be sure. Sin of disobedience sent Adam to work his way up from the ground from which he was taken. God clothed them with coats of skins foreshadowed a Saviour the lasy Adam who is spiritual, he is also the Lord from heaven would be required. Fallen Angels were merely a distraction because God presented his firstborn into the world w'worship ye him.' So God shall set up two witnesses on the earth as He did in the garden of Eden and the two great lights. We shall come to it.

Having said this I must apologise if I don't have to become a follower of the way you look at all this biblical truth which is always very largely and easily explained and understood in many ways, which all may be true but The Only Big Truth is that, with His Godly power of looking everywhere, from the beginning until the end, from Alpha to Omega, Our Trinitarian God, knowing all necessities and all possible pitfalls of any of His Creation, makes His Living Designs so perfect that, all our critics and all our considerations done afterwards is only a personal observation and should never go further than a nonstop prayer of thanksgiving and of acclamation of His Majesty's Incredible Work and of His Mercy to let us still profit and contemplate the endless and always breathtaking beauty of His Creation full of Love. From your reply let me add: God is everywhere does not mean God is at rest in your heart. I understand you believe omnipotence and omnipresence of Almighty God. In terms of relationship you fail. My faith is to establish this personal bond so I am crucified with Christ and live by faith in his resurrected power. It is God who raised him. He who has the Son has the Father. This is how relationship works. ( 1 Jn. 2. 23)
Well said my brother in Christ, but there are some points that I want to add. First of all we know from Jesus Christ His own words that God is a Spirit, so the description of Moses about the first people God created, were created like Him or like His Son must be forevermore out of context, the word "image" used in this phrase must only describe, a decision taken by the Trinity, on how he (Adam) should be looking like, in his completeness, from top to bottom, soul, mind, heart, body and everything comprised therein. We should never forget that on that 6 th day of Creation, god did first creat all other living Creatures, having the breath of life in them, I see this as a "First step" before the Creation of Adam who got many body-parts of these (mammels) als inheritance of it, but was a summum of perfection, with the motoric, and the brain amount of this (last)Creation of God. The woman, whom should become a "helper" to the first man, should comprise everything also the man comprised, and God could very easily create her also from dust, but He prefered not to do so, I believe, to create a very deep ressemblence and connection between Adam and Eve, I say so because of the increadible words of Adam, recognising Eve as a part of his body (!?), we did never sow this couple in life, but there should be some "body-ressemblances" which should be present explicitly, to let him fall in love with her directly, (some elements of narcisme included maybe) this effect could be why men mostly look for women really complementing their body in many ways, to become "One-flesh" as described further, I believe that through the dissipation of our initial belief in Jahwe, through the world religions of many type spreading everywhere, this body'ly complementing of each other got much stronger than a religious one, fortunately all Jewish men still look for Jewish women to marry and vice versa (in general !) otherwise a happy marriage is really still difficult to realise. The only measurement could be a body a trinitarian concept, so a believer who refuses to acknowledge blessings in his Son, is condemened. 6-6-6 therefore must be seen as a number for damnation while 7 is a whole number.

She is an individual in her own right as well as a symbol for the Bride of Christ. Similarly the sister-spouse aspect of Sarah establishes marriage is a shadow of the kingdom of God that God may be all in all. In the list of heroes, the Spirit gives place of honour to Sarah as mich as given to Abraham.
