Hallelujah Thank you Lord Jesus for everyone who visits the website, all the regulars and all the guests. This site is the only social thing I allow myself to have. Everything else takes too much attention away from the Christian family and the Lord. So when the Lord saw with His eyes how everything would be one day. Could He imagine that we can have an encouraging fellowship regardless of absence in the body. Thank you all! I heard a sermon some time ago that the Lord chooses his followers. That is, those who seriously believe that they serve the Lord. Those people often become lonely people. It was a little strange to hear this. Because I choose solitude and peace instead of full noise and vigor. So when we have become so privileged that we can form our everyday lives as we want. Then we are also well with the Lord. Those who need intercession are those who have small children and work. They live in a spirit of the times that does not really suit any person. For that time, no consideration has been given. It's a schedule and following it day and night. I don't miss it. It's so stressful that people get sick, for no reason. I would think that machines control everything already. So if you feel lonely and abandoned, think about the Lord and what He had to go through! Think about the prayer in Gethsemane, where the disciples fell asleep all the time. And couldn't stay awake even for a short hour with the Lord. Then I think of the times when I myself can hardly stand it in prayer. You know that then there is real danger ahead. Hope this was understandable Then we are supposed to pray even more, praise the Lord even more, love Him even more, for He is to be glorified, Amen! So we will endure, because the Lord has said that He will be with us always, until the end of the world, Amen Hallelujah! 1 Pet 1:13-21 Love u all in Christ

Yes, it is true dear GiGi, we are needed by our people, those we come into contact with and beyond. Be this salt that gives light. Tell the good news and warn of the time we are soon entering. We endure in all things because we have the Holy Spirit with us. That is why it is so important that "new believers" confess that they believe in Jesus. If they do, the Lord will never forget them, that is how I see it. Because we are promised the Holy Spirit when we confess Jesus, right? So your children who confess once. They are not lost. Believe the Lord when He says He is with us. Because older people I meet may tell me that they are atheists. "big blister". But if I say then, you believed in Jesus when you were little, yes I did, they answer. And it's nice to meet some new people every now and then. Maybe I personally think these meetings are far apart. But Mighty Jesus opens paths we understand are from Him. I tell them then. Well, then what does Jesus do. He will call, He will constantly give people a reminder. And for all that it is worth. Why should I meet this person then? Then the matter is open. They cannot deny when they meet a believer who believes in what he preaches! Amen Heb 11:1-3 I don't want to brag and don't take it as bragging, fine GiGi. Just take it as an encouragement for the faith of the coming days. I also have my boys, who believed and confessed when they were little. Of course Jesus is there with His Holy Spirit. Because I see, wisdom, fighting against injustice. and much else that indicates that this is the Lord influencing those He has predestined. Hallelujah Amen. Thank You Jesus! It's different if they say they've never believed in any Jesus. Then I get sad. I pray for wisdom and understanding and try to see if I can convert a sinner from his journey towards death. I recall how Jesus said to "let the little children come unto and do not hinder them". Thus I believe that they are the Lord's though in the "far country" now. I believe He will drawn them back home to Him and that the end will be better than the beginning as to their relationship with Him, as it was with Job.

I do understand what you are conveying in your post. It encourages me! I too am in "retirement" as of 2020 and I am doing so well in so many ways. The lessening of stress, especially with working with people not of your choosing who are not of the same mind as myself in lifestyle, worldview, and approach to their job (teaching young children).

But now I can spend my time with those I choose-family, friends, especially those who believe. And one of the most important aspects of being retired is the opportunity to learn and grow more in knowledge of God's Word and with that knowing our Lord with increasing faith and commitment. Another important aspect of being retired is this opportunity to share on this forum which is such a blessing, but also it gives me great opportunity to pray for those who request prayer!

When my kids were young it was a busy time, but I loved it! I endeavored to keep in mind how God wanted me to help my children grow up in Him through Christ. So, we were careful about the company they kept and what they were exposed to as it relates to their social environment. Sadly, even with that focus, each of my sons went the way of the prodigal in their late teens. I pray daily for their return to the Lord. I wish they would have never left Him but I do believe that God will draw them back to Himself.

So, I can sympathize with those who are juggling so much each day. And am happy to be helpful and encouraging to those in my sphere.
