I saw a post on Facebook of a girl who took the genealogy of Genesis 5 and for each Hebrew name got its meaning, like Seth = man appointed and Noah = rest. Then she discovered the names made phrases that make it sound like a prophesy of Jesus. The derived phrases I believe are:
"Man appointed mortal sorrow. The blessed God must come down teaching. His death shall bring the despairing rest."
Has anyone heard of this before and do you think this is real?

Yes it's for real, I ran across this several years ago. first by Chuck missler and then a few Rabbi's online.
That is the way the Hebrew language is designed.
Amazing isn't it.
