    Thanks for clarifying this about the two Enochs. We do also need to remember that only Noah and his family (from the line of Seth) survived the flood. So, Cain's descendants were wiped out (unless any of Noah's sons or his wife were Cainites. We just do not know)

    There are people who still believe that there are descendants of Cain throughout history. I do not believe this. God knew what He was doing in the flood. And after the flood, the line of Seth through Noah became corrupted by idolatry not many generations from Noah. Some mistake the Canaanites with descendants of Cain (Cainites) but this is also erroneous. It is sometimes difficult to differentiate between names and persons in the OT because of so many similarities and also persons with the same name in different generations. Carefully reading, taking notes, referring to family trees, etc. on line can help.
