Hi everyone ,with regard to people making assumptions and pressumptions about what it does and does not say in the Bible : the so called 7 deadly sins ,avarice ,envy ,gluttony ,lust ,pride ,sloth and wrath ,they are not listed as such any where in the Bible , if any one knows where they did come from i would love to know , Proverbs ch6 v16-19 .
Hi Sacha, it started in the fourth century, along with many other things in that century. We know one sin is no deadlier than another and "The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law". But the gift of the grace of God by the faith of Jesus Christ we will not be judged by the law.
