The Revelation of John is about the End-Time events to usher in the anxiously awaited Second Coming of the Son of Man....so let us be vigilant.

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that OVERCOMETH will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.” ( Revelation 3:20-21)

Words to remember, guys. OVERCOME temptation and sin. Jesus makes it possible.

Peace Be With You. Our understanding is that Jesus Christ OVERCAME AND CONQUERED DEATH for Us. Revelation 1:18 . And if you and I want to sit in the THRONE with Jesus Christ and Father God you and I must OVERCOME religion and the cruel double-cross too. Revelation 3:21 . Keep in mind that it was Religious leaders, Religious people and a Politician named Pilate who put Jesus Christ on the cruel cross. The crooks and prostitutes, etc., the "sinners" did NOT put My Victorious Twin Brother Jesus Christ on the cruel instrument of Torture and Death called a cross. The same cruel cross that confused Christians worship today. Do you think My Victorious Twin Brother Jesus Christ wants to see and worship a cruel cross when He comes back for WAR??? NO!!! We also believe that if you lose your relationship with Father God, you lose your Salvation. How can you be saved??? No. No one loses their relationship with Father God, He is within Us. 1 Corinthians 3:16 Genesis 1:27 . We must just repent - change Our Minds and try to sin no more. Sin is missing the mark, making a mistake. We will always make mistakes, hopefully not the same ones. That's how most of us learn. Hold on to your Relationship with God and Christ Within. Father God is LOVE. 1John4:8,16 Tough LOVE. Psalms 67:1-2 Father God be Merciful unto Us, and Bless Us and cause Your Face to Shine upon Us That Thy Way may be known upon Earth, Thy Saving Health among all nations. Amen

The keys of David, that open the door from the visible earthly place to the Spiritual realm, the heavenly Jerusalem. Our works, here, are known, for what is spoken inthe dark shall be announced from the mountaintop! Our first calling is to know God, that he is, and his word is Law, whatever that is altogether. He is God, and there are no gods before him, only servants, who pray night and day.

THE LORD'S PRAYER : Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. - Put us not to the trial/ test but give us shelter

I'm afraid that there are so many willing to "make" Scriptures mean whatever they want; while they wish so bad to escape the way of the cross! As the Apostle said, so I tell you now, even weeping; that they are enemies of the cross of Christ! We are appointed as sheep for the slaughter, to love not our lives unto death; if we might obtain the crown of life. But so many seek to save their lives...

Reference Revelation 3:10 concerning the great escape and deliverance from the great temptation / tribulation , GOD'S judgement coming upon the whole world . JESUS is willing to let that cup of bitterness pass by and not touch true disciples / righteous christians if they meet His terms . I'm sorry for the error of not using all capitals on JESUS'S name on the last comment installment .
  • MRP on Revelation 3 - 7 years ago
There is no pre tribulation rapture - but there is a literal, actual, great escape into the wilderness . There will be places of safety from the great tribulation, that being God's judgement upon the world, for them that search and are approved and chosen by God himself . Watch and pray to be found worthy and to recognize the given sign for what it is,the abomination of desolation, and then move out .

I've understood that I must change and turn myself to the Lord Jesus Christ and if I love Jesus I must keep his commandments and the father would love me as well. I also learn that there is NO man who doesn't get reborn he will not be able to enter in the Kingdom of GOD

Charles; Don't be afraid, trust in the Lord! He has promised that not one of those which the Father has given Him shall perish; and a bruised reed He will not break, nor will He quench a smoking flax. No one is able to pluck us out of the Father's hand! Keep reading your Bible every day, and resist the devil's temptations by standing on the Scriptures. Never give up!

Elijah; What has it to do with our salvation? Easy! What was ruined and lost for us by Adam and Eve's sin? What then was the thing that God created us for to begin with? Since the disaster in Eden, and the resulting expulsion as unfit from the presence of God, none of us has ever had a chance to find out what it even means that we were made in the image of God. That's what our salvation is for!

Dewey; Thank you Brother! Praise the LORD for His mercy forever and His wonderful works toward the children of men! With the wicked springing like grass and all restraint apparently being removed, we know that our redemption draws near, and very soon our faith will be turned to sight. Be strong and stand tough! All provision has been made for our success and endurance "unto the end!" Hallelu Jah!

Praises to the Father and son: To one and all, when I stated it is of no significance, I was taking the same attitude of Christ when he told his explanation for making this stated fact in John 32. He was telling the crowd of people to calm down because it was no big deal that he had stated such. Secondly, how does the disclosure of this fact, have any effect on my salvation?
  • Dewey J on Revelation 3 - 7 years ago
A disciple, amen nothing is significant in scripture except what God says! Glory be to God in the highest!
  • A disciple on Revelation 3 - 7 years ago
Elijah; to what you wrote, (It is of no significance that men are called gods because Satan declared it from the beginning, "and ye shall be as gods," Gen, 3:5) God calls them gods to whom the Word of God comes and the Scriptures cannot be broken; I'd say that it is extremely significant, and has to do with being the children of God. The great ones of the heathen are no gods but the works of men.
  • Elijah on Revelation 3 - 7 years ago
Dewey, Praises be unto God and His son and savior. These things were spoken in the word of God but in considering these words I must add it is also it is also written, "For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour." It is of no significance that men are called gods because Satan declared it from the beginning," and ye shall be as gods," Gen, 3:5

Elijah, to finish that scripture Gal.2:20 ...the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me. Ep. 2:8,9 "For by grace are he saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:v9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ro.10:4 says," For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believeth".

Elijah, I meant John 10:34,35,36. Also, Psalms 82:6,7 same subject about men which Jesus used to make a greater revelation about himself. John 1:17 says, "For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.St. Paul said in Gal.2:20 "I am crucified with Christ:nevertheless I live yet not I but Christ live in me and the life that I now live In the flesh I live by faith in the...

Elijah, good point this is not clear in many scriptures so let's start with what Jesus said to the religious rulers in his generation. In. 10:34, 35, 36. If he (God) called them gods; unto whom the word of God came , (men) and the scripture cannot be broken; Say ye of him, whom the father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, thou blasphemes;because I said, I am the Son of God.See Psalms 82:6

Elijah; I read your response to my post. The Angels who are charged with keeping us and bringing us the things we need from God; as God has given all provision for our life and success by grace; the WORD is our responsibility Luke 10:20. Just as it was for the Israelites who were seduced to sin with the Moabitish women; men put themselves outside of God's favor and protection they are responsible.
  • Elijah on Revelation 3 - 8 years ago
Dewey, were in scripture do you find this interpretation? Jesus refers to the pastors or men of the churches as angels. Jesus is speaking by his faith which all Christians live by. It does not infer this in the scripture that you referenced. To the law and to the testimony Isa.8:20
  • Dewey J on Revelation 3 - 8 years ago
Elijah, read Rev. 1:20 to understand Rev. 3:7. Rev. 1:20 The mystery of the stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches. And the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches. Jesus refers to the pastors or men of the churches as angels. Jesus is speaking by his faith which all Christians live by.

Elijah; The place of the Angel of any church, is that of a guardian and messenger: so it is in Hebrews 1:14 "Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?" The Messages to the Churches are sent first to forewarn and prepare them regarding the things that were already at hand and set to progress to worse till completely full when Jesus comes.

Elijah: Read it again, looks like The Angel is being Told to Write.
  • Elijah on Revelation 3 - 8 years ago
If you examine Rev,.3:7, you will notice that the message is to the angel. "And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write;" This text has everything to do with the angel, however, the most significant thing, which causes me some concern in this text, is, why would an angel have the need to be warned about sinning and falling.
  • Elijah on Revelation 3 - 8 years ago
A few days ago I wrote a comment about Rev. 3, which was not posted. The comment stated that your second question," Who did GOD say would worship at the feet of the angel of the Church of Philadelphia," could not be answered because they will worship at the feet of the Phil. " I will make them to come and worship before thy feet," meaning the Philadelphia's feet.
