In response to Mary, I sense a question when you say, I believe I am ready. Talk with your clergy now. I would love to discuss this with you, but there is not enough space. The reason I say that is because I also believed that I was saved and secure, and going to live eternally with Christ. The fact was that I had never totally surrendered my life to the Lord. I no longer believe I am ready for the rapture, I KNOW with certainty. A reverent fear of the Lord is good, but if your fear is stemming from a nagging in your spirit that you may have never been truly born again, that is something more. I so wish I could talk to you at length, because this is life and death. My prayer is that the Lord will make a way for you to speak personally to a doctrinally sound minister now. If I misunderstood your post, I apologize. None of us want to face death, nor the return of our Lord without complete assurance that we are HIS. Love to you in Christ.

This comment is for Ann. Your reference to Isaiah 45:5 and 6 is supported by Jesus 's own prayer to his God and father the night before he was to be betrayed,tried,humiliated and tortured to death. At John 17:3, Jesus identifies the only true God.Trinitarians will always have trouble with the word "only ".

Laura we are to be sealed by the word of God before the tribulation of the Revelation and to do that go to chapter 6 of Revelation. To get insight and understanding Mark 13, Matt. 24, Luke 21 and 2 Thessalonians 2 are the events that will take place when the seals are opened. In reading those you will find Two tribulations, first one Satan comes acting as Christ, anti-Christ, which translated is instead of Christ and in that position takes over the world, all of the people except the Elect and with the elect any that heard the truth or read the truth and had eye 's to see or ear 's to hear escape the hour of temptation because they can 't be tempted by Satan. The called elect that are chosen to stand against Satan acting as Christ will be delivered up to Satans churches and the Holy Spirit will speak through the elect so that the whole world will hear the truth in hope that many that are worshipping anti- Christ as Christ will turn away and be saved.

Doctrinaly this is a key verse which not only Israel has regreted missing the true and real messiah but the rest of the world. All will regret in that last moment for not accepting him as Lord and Savior. In addition the whole rest of the world at that time is now in the time of iron rule and judgement during the Milennial reign of Christ after the Great Tribulation.

Gary rapture is not in the Bible. In fact God says in Ezekiel 13 vs 20 and on He hates those that teach His children to fly to say their souls and before vs 20 He speaks of those men and women who teach it as men who dream it out of there own minds and the women who have laid it on so thick as a covering that hide His true way of salvation that the lie to fly misleads His children and steals their souls. Don 't believe in preachers easy made up lies to fly away in the sky because it ain 't going to happen and when Satan gets here acting as Christ who is antichrist his main lie to Christians will be he will fly them away. That wont fly them up but down!

The word rapture, is not in the Bible, I believe it 's been called that for less than humble reasons, it compares the resurrection of the dead and living to be a state of bliss, but I think it 's more of a denial for all who hope for an escape from the tribulation which the scripture says is coming upon all the Earth, I believe it has been created from fear, and not the pure humbleness of the servants of God! I believe we will all go through what is coming upon the Earth, In Matt it says immediately after the tribulation of those days the Lord would come, the scripture of two at the mill and one taken, is one of the scriptures the rapture believers put their trust in. But the real resurrection could be a millisecond before total destruction comes upon the whole face of the Earth. This is what the scripture tells us. Rev 1-5 11-15

please tell me where the word rapture is in the bible .

The rapture is for those who are pure and virgins. People of God will still be left in tribulation to save as many as they can. It is all of humanity 's mission to save as many as we can. For Jesus came fir those that sin. What point is there in saving that which is already saved? God and Jesus are with us always. Never give up and never surrendered. God will test even his faithful. His will be done.

Aaron you go to those churches and I 'll do what God says and read and listen to Him. You need nothing more than this Bible and to love God and ask for His help and your in His Church. Truth is that 's what He wants you to do listen to His prophets and apostles and His words that He gave us and He says stay away from men.

Suspicious Christians are afraid of reproof. They live in fear because of false doctrine by false men and women who preach the Word. But what they lack is perspective. They lack trust in God for they hide themselves from unity because of a lack of substance. Once you are truly grounded in the faith, there will be no man that can cause you to stumble blindly into a ditch. But until then, if you are not going to church because of fear of hypocrites, you are prideful in your mind. Your way of thinking will limit you in becoming the vessel God wants to use. And its because you lack perspective. And God needs a humble person to see the perspective of many.

Some might ask me what church do you go to. There is none in Texas so I just study to show my self approved. That 's the best church listening to Father 's letter to us and not some man who can twist the truth in his belief and hear false doctrine. Always check preacher 's out because they like to add or and take away from the truth.

As you see He gave the Revelation to John to give to His servants. Who are His servants? Them that work for Him to become one. First thing, read the word, learn how to be one. Many that call themselves Christians when the get to the wedding door will be told I don 't know you. How could that be? They listened to men and religions and never opened the book and thought just because they went to church and sang songs and believed a man preach they were saved. I 'll tell you this He doesn 't hear them if they are in the wrong church. There are 2 out of the 7 given and if yours is like the 5 He didn 't like your out of luck so read the word for yourselves so you can test the fruit of the church where your going and if it 's not teaching Gods word get out.
