This scripture is very comforting. I can really relate to Lenesha 's comment. I have a Job, but it has become too demanding that it is actually encroaching on my time to serve Jehovah fully. SO I too am throwing this burden on God, to help to find suitable employment. I don 't want to move on my own initiative, but I keep this in prayer relying on Jehovah to make the best decision. I can have confidence that Jehovah is carrying this burden, and many others.

(Verse 20) "Our God is a God who saves! The Sovereign Lord rescues us from death."

Ephesians 2 (verses 1-6) says the same thing when it says, "Once you were dead, doomed forever because of your many sins. ... But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so very much, that even while we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead." This is Pauls way of saying that as God, Christ had the authority to raise himself. And that is exactly what he did.

It is also Paul's way of saying that before we are saved we are in a state of death. Yes, we look alive, and can do all the things live people do, but we are dead. This death happened to us because of Adam's sin. But now God as Christ is making us alive (gives us eternal life) by our belief in him. This is the gift of God to the human race. This is why Paul can say, "I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

    God bless you all!

(Verse 19-20) "Praise the Lord; praise God our savior! For each day he carries us in his arms. Our God is a God who saves! The Sovereign Lord rescues us from death."

We see the same theme in Titus 3:4. Speaking of Jesus Paul says, "But then God our Savior showed us his kindness because of his mercy. He washed away our sins and gave us a new life through the Holy Spirit."

What he is saying is, it is God as Jesus the Savior who gives us a new life. The Holy Spirit is the way God inspires us to believe in what he is doing. Therefore, we should not try to put the Holy Spirit in the place of Jesus by saying that he is the giver of life. No, the giver of life is always God as Jesus, and always will be.

    As everyone knows--JESUS SAVES!

Psalm 68:19 is an ***urance of God' s abundant love provisions, preservation etc to His children. Waking up in the morning with this provision builds confidence in me in navigating the course of the without struggle knowing that the day has been taken care of by my Father, my own responsibility is to actualise the benefits to the glory of God.

It is a very powerful verse that issues a command to us to allow God to get between us and Satan. I believe when any person internalizes this verse and actively think it; if Satan is in the midst, in their heart, or in their mind, he will recieve this command and he will flee. "Let God Arise and His enemies be scattered. And let those who hate Him flee before Him..." Peace replaces Pain..

This comment is to Jacob K. Jacob, There are many voices in this world and many religions; but, there is only one truth and HIS NAME IS JESUS! The angel declared His Name before His fleshly body of His habitation was born. The angel said ye shall call His Name Jesus, he shall save His people from their sins. The God of Glory took on flesh to save all who will come to Him. He was crucified, dead and buried; BUT, HE AROSE and continually lives. The instructions for eternal life are given to us in Acts 2:37,38. REPENT (ask forgiveness of sins, and turn from them), BE BAPTIZED IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS AND YE SHALL RECEIVE THE GIFT OF THE HOLY GHOST. GOD IS WAITING ON YOU, JACOB. There is only ONE God and His Name is JESUS. Praying for you.

Why do you have God name in verse as Jah. First and foremost there is no J letter in hebrew. And my father name in heaven is Yah and his son name is not Jesus its Yahoshua
    Please can you explain? Thanks

hmm loaded with blessings seems more blithely understood by me at leastthan bearing our burdens. God is good, this is paramount, but being loaded with blessings, i dare say this sounds lovely, and yet how wholly unmerited

A lien is a legal claim or a "hold" on some type of property, whether personal or real property, making it collateral against monies or services owed to another person or entity." Though ye have lien among the pots, yet shall ye be as the wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with yellow gold." It should mean "Though your possessions consists of clay pots(Cheap possessions), you shall yet be fabulously wealthy."

the greatest assignment on earth is to proclaim the goodness of God seen in His only son Jesus our Lord to the whole world. God gave the word to mankind to procliam his goodness unto the simple and librate them from every oppression of the devil. it is an open opportunity for all to be bless as you partake in it.Greatness is the reward of those who express it new to the public. so of the ways God's blessing is confer on us is through publishing the words He has given to us either verbally or in print. it is a cheap access to God's goodnes, mercy and all other blessing you can ever imagine. Jesus is Lord!

Shouldn't this always be the song of a Christian's heart? This verse is a statement of thankfulness toward God for both His common and saving grace. The verse begins with "Blessed be the LORD!", the prayer of a soul who realizes that he has received blessing from God and therefore wants to return a blessing to his blessed Lord.
The Psalmist does not leave his blessing unqualified; he praises God's daily provision. "[W]ho daily loadeth us with benefits." I absolutely love the verb used here: loadeth. Do we think of God LOADING us with benefits? Think of a mother heaping as much food as will fit onto her growing son's plate, or a generous grandmother filling her beloved grandchild's arms with toys and delights at Christmas. Our God is not stingy; He has not merely begrudged us our daily needs. He has provided for all people in abundance, without restraint. He LOADETH us with benefits. What a generous Father!
Continuing, we see that this God not only showers us with temporal blessings, what we might term "common grace," He is "the God of our salvation." What a marvelous concept; that the LORD of all creation, the great and terrible Ruler of the heavens, we may call the God of our salvation! He is our only hope and trust, the One Who can rescue us in time of trouble. More significantly, the One Who sent His only Begotten Son into the world to be the sacrifice for our salvation from sin. If we turn to Him in faith, He has promised that He "will in no wise cast out."
So, come, all Christians, brothers and sisters in Christ, let us also bless our God Who daily loadeth us with benefits and indeed is the God of our salvation. Glory to God!
