Jehovah God takes a keen interest in his servants. He provides strength to us and is a source of protection. He lets himself be found, and wants to be there to help us. What greater help could we have than the Grand Creator
46 letters in from the start the word shake and 46 from end backwards is the word spear....Shakespeare worked on the kjv but his real name was Francis bacon
This scripture was texted to me.....I truly needed this word today. Thank you God!! You know what we need. I will be Still and watch your marvelous works in my situation. I have had to learn to trust you like never before. Thank you God. Trusting and believing in God's word, he is not a man that would lie and his word holds true. In a troubled time such as this, psalm 46 says: God is our refuge and strength. A very present help is what I need to sustain me (us all) and I praise God for the scriptures.
I lost my oldest sister in February 2016 and my mother in May 2016. Psalm 46 truly is a inspiration for me. Be still and know I am God is all I can count on. Blessed be the readers and doers of his word.
I think it is the greatest chapter that represented my grand daughter who was tragically killed at the age of 7 1/2 years old and her classmates described her as Psalm 46:10 Be still and know that I am God because that is who she trusted and believed in!
Verse 9 brings out how real peace requires an end of war, not in just one region of the globe, but in all the earth. And how the weapons that are here on the earth will be destroyed so that mankind can live in peace.
It a good psalm to read in time of trouble especially when enemy trying to pull u down so that the promise of God would not be fulfilled in your life the psalm makes u strong.
To LastGasRunner... Allow me to offer a thought... I've lived through many battles in life where it appears God has not intervened 'right early'. To understand a specific verse we must take it in context with the entire Word of God: Christ said we WILL face trouble
I have been reading the comments from 2015. Jesus Christ is our refuge. The Holy Spirit gives us comfort, and teaches us of Jesus. The angels do not have more power than the Trinity. The Lord needs no help from angels. The fallen angels are here to destroy us, our witness for Christ and at the very least negate our testimony for Christ. I have been calling on this Psalm for 40 yrs.
