Comment to WR about Abiding in Christ. WR Jesus says our relationship with Christ is like a branch and a vine, the branches have to abide in the Vine 24/7 or there will no fruit, IF THE BRANCHES do not abide in the Vine it dries up and dies and thats us we must abide in him continually,I was right its exactly like marriage made in heaven, You remember MOSES MARRIED ISRAEL TO GOD at Horeb with the blood saying this is what God has Enjoined unto you, and now we are married to Christ by a greater BLOOD, Enjoined means a marriage 2 becoming one . Jesus said i am the true vine and you are the branches abide in me and i in you. WR th disciples followed Jesus 24/7, they forsook ALL and followed him. We cannot follow Jesus 1 day a week it must be with all our hearts and minds etc we are the branches and he is that 1 true vine, even in the natural a branch and a Vine are 1.

Alex to WR ABOUT WHO IS THE BRIDEGROOM. WR i said when they asked John about Christ and his disciples, John replied he that hath the bride is the bridegoom.Who was it that had the disciples fllowing him ? Jesus, John was trying to tell them that it was Christ who was the bridegroom.John was just a friend of the bridegroom he said. And he said that his joy was fulfilled just to hear his voice ( his words, his seeds,ya remember jesus said b/c i have spoken these words ( his seeds ) sorrows have filled your hearts impling a spritual pregnancyWhen a woman is in travail she has sorrows till the Child comes then her sorrows are turned into joy, impling a spritual birth, the Child is the H.G. thats ye he said that which is born of the spirit is spirit thats our new innerman the H.G. WHICH MEANS ANOTHER COMFORTER ANOTHER CHRIST BORN IS US VIA HIS SEED THE WORD, They don't call him the bridegroom for nothin,he has a seed to sow in us sinners ( humanity ) That was the great Promise that Christ wd be be multiplied as the stars of heaven thus the sower and his precious seed sown is us sinners thats y the new birth is so important. We must be bornagain of an incorruptible seed etc which is the seed of the bridegroom. ok gbu WR

To Alex, I would re read Exodus 20 Verses 8 through 11. The scripture is clear that The Sabbath is to be kept holy. You said the disciples followed him 24/7 like a marriage. In marriage there is only one day that is the anniversary for each couple. On that day most couples celebrate this day as special. A day that is set apart to each other as something special. I have to say your idea of John being the Groom is unusual also. John as a disciple,is a member of the Church. and the church is the bride of Christ. He is returning one day for his bride. The Church. God Bless you.

Bruce, I do appreciate your point about finding patterns where none exist but I think you dismiss this one too quickly. Shakespeare was a known writer at the time and it is possible he had something to do with the KJV translation of the bible. Perhaps this is his version of an "Easter Egg"? Yes, people try to make random correlations meaningful but that doesn't mean some correlations aren't actually revealing something interesting. I think one needs to look at the degrees of freedom needed for the explanation and context of the "coincidence" to separate random from intention. Age 46, Psalm 46, word 46 in and word 46 out spells the name of someone possibly working on the text? Not so random..
  • Bruce - In Reply on Psalms 46 - 5 years ago
While that's interesting, is it really the "World's greatest coincidence"? That someone found two words within a certain chapter of a book and tried to associate meaning to it? Someone can find such 'coincidences' with nearly any book, any writing, any author. Also the name isn't spelled the same. People claim to find all kinds of 'codes' elsewhere in the Bible too. Perhaps it's human nature to try to make random correlations seem meaningful. Wow, I just used 'the' four times, and the word four has 4 letters in it, which the Bible says the 4th day the moon was created which also has 4 letters! And there was a full moon tonight and now it's time 4 bed, wow!

This edition of the bible was completed when Shakespeare was 46 years old. The 46th word from the beginning is "shake" and the 46th word from the end is "spear." This is either the world's greatest coincidence, or it is not. Do with this as you may.

Verse 6, where the river about making the children of God happy, says "The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted." You can see my comment on Psalm 55 where I refer to how important my writings are, and when I'm let out unexpectedly by the court, the heathen will rage, I might say I'm depicted in the Bible and will turn the world to the Scriptures. 1 here.

In these restless days of so many loud voices, this Psalm is good to memorized and affirm to ourselves at all times, and to all others who shake with fear. Our God is GOOD, ALL the time. He is FAITHFUL! Declare His mighty works to all people.

If all the days of the week are holy then the Sabbath is holier, because its the only day in the bible which was blessed and sanctified after creation. Genesis 2 vs 2 n 3.
  • Melkages - In Reply on Psalms 46 - 5 years ago
Yes, every day is a holy day. Yahushua went to the Temple every day to preach BUT the sabbath of Yahuwah is appointed by Yahuwah that every man should observe it. On that day, we do not but or sell, we worship and rest. It is the highest day of the week. Also, the sabbath is regulated by the moon. Stop using the gregorian calendar to calculate for the sabbath.
  • Alex on Psalms 46 - 5 years ago
In Christ Jesus every day is the Sabbath,GOD wants every day Holy. When he said abide in me and i in you thats every day 24 7 Jesus said the Branches have to abide in the Vine 24 7 or there will be no fruit. His disciples followed him 24 7 not 1 day a week, they forsook everybody and every thing and followed him it was like a marriage. Even John said he that hath the bride disciples is the GROOM

The Lord confirms that above all I see with my eyes I am being watched and will always be cared for by Him. In His strength and wisdom which surpasses my knowledge. Like a child I am because of Jesus. Stay encouraged and fully trusting.
  • Diana on Psalms 46 - 6 years ago
Stop, and acknowledge that He alone is God. No matter what circumstance life may bring we serve a God that is bigger than the adversity, bigger than that which we are facing, and He is well able to deliver us. We can rest in Him knowing that He is a God that ushers us into a place of peace, love, and joy if we acknowledge and trust Him. For He change the not.

It's telling me to be still and have faith that I will be with you no matter what. No problem is too big, just keep the faith and know that I am God.
  • Tommy on Psalms 46 - 6 years ago
There is times that in our life, we need to get still before the Lord and reach out to him in prayer, lay aside time to seek him. Study God's word, for guidance, and be still and listen for his still calm voice that he uses. It is so soft in sound one can not hear when they should.
  • Lilian on Psalms 46 - 6 years ago
Be still and know that I am God. Whatever storms may come into our lives God is still on the throne We are still made victorious and the works of the defeated devil will always be crashed Abba Father is God and more powerful I will praise thee forever Selah amen
