This psalms describes me and my imperfection. I said strange things unto god while going trough many troubles sore troubles. So am seeking God forgiveness and deliverance and release from over whelming distresses. He s still lead me today to this psalm and this word to give me the break I need.

  • Bud Carnan on Psalms 127 - 9 years ago
This is a most insightful writing in verse 8 as David sought to HEAR God's loving kindness in the morning expressing his trust in God. Awakening to feel His loving kindness in the morning creates an emotion awash with gratitude for all He has done for me. Thank you Jesus. Thank you Jehova for sending us your son, and leaving your spirit until your work on earth is done.

Brianna, I agree. I would like to see scripture that even tells anyone to build a building for fellowship and teaching and call it a "church".
  • Leslie on Psalms 127 - 9 years ago
My Love, bless the day to the Lord, He will provide in His season. I love You.
  • Brianna on Psalms 127 - 9 years ago
Vs. 1 is an interesting thought. Some churches are built gloriously, but the people that go to worship are dirt poor. Is that really something that God is blessing? Could not a modest and clean building also be used in service to God and then additional resources be used to care for the flock? Some of the building today, are truly in vain and lack God's approval.

  • Jeremy on Psalms 127 - 9 years ago
Why does Matthew Henry directly say the opposite of Psalms 146:3 in his commentary? The bible verse says to "put not our trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help." The verse if talking about the common man would have simply used the word "men", but it clearly is using words to describe men that are not common such as "princes" and "thee son of man"

Many worthy scholars translate vs. 2 "he giveth to his beloved even when they sleep. It is certainly true. Even when we are at rest, God is at work. Even when our eyes are closed, his are open. Oftimes the LORD has come to his servants in the night with visions and dreams and great comforts so that they wake up a better and stronger Christian than ever they were before. And even as the Holy Spirit coveys thoughts to us, the LORD himself broods over us. When we arise, we cannot count the number of times he has already thought of us. Psalm 139 So, since we are in all God's thoughts, let us be careful that that he is in all ours.

Some trust in chariots, and some trust in horses, but for us who are called by His holy name and purchased by the blood of His only begotten son Jesus Christ, total dependence should be our key. For by strength shall no man prevail. Hallelujah and Amen.
