Why is it that most people want to remain distant , aganist God most people turn that way the world of people is a ugly place unless you truly meet Gods people who want to obey him and understand what he is saying in his word . God will always make his Spirit known to us how blessed are we , we have the kingdom of God inside us .

Hi Jane, If it is lawful for a woman to wear a dress/skirt/short pants, long pants and her husband prefers she wear a particular style she would not be sinning if she did so. A woman should submit to her husband in all things unless it goes against scripture. I hope this helps.

Shelly the word of God cannot be change to how we think it should sound my understanding of the chapter u are talking about is this. if u do not beat your child when he or she needs it u will spoil them and they will go threw life spoiled unruly disrepectful .thats why we need to raising them llike God word told u to.u must have the Holy Ghost help to raise a child today praise him we need God

To fear God is to have a reverential Trust in Him : to stand in Awe of His Greatness ! to know that in disobedience to Him will cost Greater than what you want : I want to know my Lord God : A fool says that there is no God : fools despise knowledge of God for it is foolishness to them. I also want to be instructed of my Lord from His word.

Fear in this case can also be reffered to respect. whom you respect you fear and whom you fear you respect. Amen

my commnet is that I think that the bible tells us the truth about god wants us to do and also tells us to pray for forgiveness.

Proverbs is a great book and worth its wisdom in gold better then gold, we should live by this book.

Even with the wisdom of Solomon man can lose his way, focus on Jesus. We are children of the King, we must do HIS will and we are told why in HIS word. The Bible is our moral compass on how to live and who to live for. We must follow the instruction of the Holy Spirit and watch our thoughts, guarding our minds from being captive to what is negative. Allow the Holy Spirit to remain on the Throne!

Shelly, The 1611 King James translation, which took 7 years to translate is the tried Word of God. It may be profitable for you to diligently study Proverbs 1 again and Ecclesiasticus Chapter 30 in the Apocrypha. I think some of Proverbs was mistranslated. The part where it said spare not the rod and spoil the child. It should said say spare not the rod or method of correction or the child will be of no good. Some people misunderstand that. If you are a christian you will teach your child in the right manner. Some kids respond differently than others. That is why we have to be careful about the method.

Proverbs gives you the knowledge to help others understand why you believe what you do, behave the way you do, and gives you the strength to walk away for that which is not good for you.

Scripture is necessary for wisdom. If we dont read then how can we know how to live? Proverbs instruct all on how to live rightly in Gods eyes.

Proverbs 1 is a word of wisdom. Anyone that have lack let him ask of God. Wisdom is what we all need. We need to know when where, and how to use wisdom.

don't be moved by wrong luring pears to do things that are not of God's gratification.

i recommend this very chapter for every child, teenagers and youths. the lessons here are enough to make them fulfil their destiny in life if well attended to and followed.
