What does it mean unforgivable sin against the holy Ghost? What does it mean to bind a strong man? In the next chapter Christ says when your faith is planted in good ground ,He says some will grow 30, some 60, some 100 fold. The revelation of Jesus Christ will have free course and grow,it is Only when we deny him, and allow the strong one to bind our faith, even unto spiritual death ,that their can be no forgiveness of sin. He says to him that has, even more shall be given to Him, also It is impossible for those who were once enlightened, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

28 above JESUS mind is on SALVATION for me and you, because JESUS clearly let us know there is forgiveness of All sin,see John 3:16-21 and other verses also,. Also in the same breath JESUS warn us of the sin of blaspheme which is crossing the line of no-return, meaning we boldly straight jacket oneself so deeply into sins until.... see the Revelation chapter 17 and 18, also see Revelation 20:21.

You are asking a great question. We are predestine to be saved. All prevision have been made for your salvation. We must confess our sins, 1 John 1:9. Mark 3: 28,29, all sins can be forgiven accept sin against the Holy Ghost. Luke 12:10, these texts make it clear about sinning against the Holy Ghost. Matt. 12:31,32, makes it clear. It is up to us to obey God's commandments or not. God bless you.

James and John, Zebedee s sons, are always mentioned together. Mary and Jesus brothers sisters travel with Jesus. NO Joseph. John 2:12, Mark 3:31, Mark 6:3. Mary is the wife of Cleophas. John 19:25 Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene. Cleopas KNEW all about Jesus because he married Mary. Luke 24:18, 22, 24, 31

1 And he entered again into the synagogue and there was a man there which had a withered hand. Every time I read this, I pray that God will heal my withered hand, which I've had for years. Maybe one day he will. Meanwhile, I will do as Paul who had a infirmity, keep praying.

Rejecting or denying our Lord Jesus Christ who died on the cross, and was buried, and rose the third day, and now sits in heaven at the right hand of the Father. Also read Mark 3:29 Revelation 13:6

Boat, ship, vessel, call it what you want. I got a vessel that I call a boat. A small fishing boat because I live on a lake. My neighbor has a boat with sails which he calls a sailboat. I believe BIG boats are called ships and if they don't have sails or if they do. Ever heard of a stream boat. They are huge but I think it would be correct to call them a ship or a boat.

... 24 And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. (this truth from JESUS reaches to 2019; divided minds causes us to war within our-self, a divided home /house is war within, a divided government /city is war within; these wars mention is the result of us individually or collectively not obeying the word of Jehovah / GOD; yet SALVATION is always knowing at the door.

Dewey in Mark 3 27-29 it rebukes those who takes the Holy Ghost name in vain shall have eternal damnation.
  • Dewey J on Mark 3 - 7 years ago
Bruce, what I said is what the Holy Ghost said which is definitely not speculation. V9 And he spake to his disciples, that a small ship should wait on him because of the multitude, lest they should throng him. V10 For he had healed many insomuch that they pressed upon him for to touch him as many as had plagues. Weather he used the ship to preach or not on this occasion we know he had Lk. 5:3 Amen
  • Bruce on Mark 3 - 7 years ago
Dewey: Does verse 9 say, have a Boat Ready just in case they try to throng Him ? Where does it say He used The Boat? ---You said: And Jesus went out in The Boat--- what Verse or is that speculation?
  • Dewey J on Mark 3 - 7 years ago
Bruce, read the verses the scripture references that I mentioned again. The Bible interprets itself that is a well known fact often confirmed by biblical experts. there is no place in the gospel for our speculations. Praise God in Jesus holy name. Amen!
  • Bruce on Mark 3 - 7 years ago
Dewey, Eutychus: Jesus ask to have a Boat Ready, just in case He had to escape the people. It doesn't say He used the Boat. He just went up The Mountain and Ordained The Twelve. Mark 3: 9 -14
  • Dewey J on Mark 3 - 7 years ago
Eutychus2018, know the fact that the Bible interprets the Bible. Read v9 and 10 of Mark 3 this chapter which gives the reason why Jesus asked for and went out in the boat the people pressed on him is what the above Bible verses says. Glory be to God in the highest! Amen!
  • Eutychus on John 21 - 8 years ago
"There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples." Some scholars maintain that NATHANAEL of Cana is the same as the disciple/apostle Bartholomew ( Mark 3:18).
  • Eutychus2018 on Mark 3 - 8 years ago
Do you find it odd, that in vs 9, Jesus asks the disciples to put him into a small ship? Yet there is nothing recorded as to what he said from that ship. And proceeded thereafter to go up into a mountain.

In Chapter 4, vs 1, once again, he is placed into a boat, and preached what I call the "Sermon on the Sea"...

I'm just making note of the peculiarity...mayhap you would know the reason for it.
  • Servant of God on Mark 3 - 8 years ago
3/29 He who blaspheme the Holy Spirit, has not forgiveness but is endanger of damnation. Those who deny that Jesus is come from God and that his words are of the Holy Spirit (God manifest in earth) are in danger. A house divided cannot stand. Those who accuse Jesus of having a devil while he rebukes Satan are committed to Satan's domain. Those who do God's will are those whom Jesus befriends.

Bless; I suppose that it was because of their Thunder-like personalities. But apparently that was how God made them, like how He makes all of us a certain special kind after His own likes! The parts where we have to be sanctified many times come in conflict with our "nature" but a sincere heart of love and obedience will get the victory, and by His grace become ALL of what God intended us to be.

Vs. 1-6; would anyone on here - destroy someone for doing good on the 'sabbath'? Do you make your bed in the a.m. on the 'sabbath'? Do you go get your newspaper on the 'sabbath'? These things are the same, actually more, in effort than what Jesus did on the (sic) 'sabbath'.
  • Bruce on Luke 12 - 9 years ago
Irene:The Scripture says he that speaks evil of the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness-,describes came down and they said, Jesus has a devil: that's saying The Holy Ghost is a devil: Mark 3:22-30/ Are you trying to force people to believe what you do? Where in scripture does it say the things you said?/ Hebrews 9:12 redemption through his blood forever Revelations 1:5 washed by his blood/ 1John 1:9
  • Irene123 on Mark 3 - 9 years ago
    V. 9 - the Pharisees knew who Jesus , KNEW he was real. But - they had an 'agenda' and that was money and power. Knowing who He was, you know they had forsaken the STUDY of the O.T. or they would have known - they couldn't fight against God and win.
