For some years, I was puzzled by the reference to a camel going through the eye of a needle. I saw it as a fanciful illustration. Then I discovered that in those days, the gates into the city were shut, but a small entrance in the gate could be opened to let in one person at a time. Yes, it was called "the needle gate". So, when the merchant arrived at the gate with his camel laden with his possessions, the camel had to kneel at the gate, whilst the merchant took all the goods from his back. Only then could the camel, with some difficulty, crawl through the needle gate, but the goods had to be left outside. I have always treasured this understanding that it is what we are, not what we possess, that is important. The worship of worldly goods must be laid aside if we are to gain entrance to the kingdom of God.

It is because the Father loves us that He gave his only begotten son to save us. We should not put our trust on the riches of this world rather we should put our trust on the Lord. For He alone is wealth.

The verse is as clear as it is. Jesus was called "GOOD TEACHER " and logically could be explained as the PERFECT ONE and he corrected the man that no human is perfect but THE LORD THY GOD. Simple. Say the TRUTH and let it set you free.

I interpret this as meaning that we should depend on the lord

This corresponds with what Paul taught in 1Corinthians13:having kept the law n commandments therein,this man lacked love.which made his obedience vain in the sight of the Lord....this man had to give away his possessions as a sign testimony of Gods love in him n follow Jesus in other to be rooted in that love of God

If we seek first the kingdom of God all things will be added unto us.

Mark 10: 27, want us Christians to believe in God not in man. God word should be in us at all time. He is the live the truth and the lights.

On Verse 24, As a Citizens of the Kingdom of God, We must put our Trust to the ONE GOD who Provided the treasure we have . And that treasure must also given back to HIM. Serving HIM by giving it to the Less and Using it for the Ministry, and Let us Do it for the Glory of GOD.

Mark 10:46-52 Blind Bartimaeus could not see, but he could hear. He taught us to use what we have. He used his voice, ears and legs. As he heard Jesus passing by, he shouted out: "Jesus, have mercy on me ". He was then told by others to shut up, but he cried out to Jesus even louder. Clearly, you see that sometimes we have to ignore some people and remain consistent and persistent to achieve what we want. I notice that Bartimaeus was begging for money, but when Jesus asked him what He could do for him,, he asked that he may received his sight. In other words, he asked Jesus to teach him how to fish instead of giving him a fish. He thought to himself: a if I could see I would not need to beg. b If I could see I can and will follow Jesus by myself in which he did. What would you do if Jesus grants you your hearts desire today?

God is good to all the just and the unjust

To me it is a sound warning to the married couple themselves, that, they have no right what soever to separate themselves from the joining God has joined them this day.

i think jesus christ he came to serve us all from all misdeeds

All things are amazing with God. I was just married on the beach 2 nights ago and we were blessed with a breathtaking sunset. I know that was the Lord approving. Thank you Jesus.

God knows all things. There is nothing hidden from him. So, what man thinks it is impossible, with God all is possible because is thought and his ways are higher than our. His knowledge, wisdom and understanding is unlimited unlike us. So,there is nothing difficult for him to do.

This is very uplifting to me to know that JESUS is truly a healer, my father has acute leaukima i pray and ask JESUS to heal our father if Its JESUS WILL i will still praise HIM and seek JESUS from now until ETERNITY!!!!!!

This verse has always puzzled me ...I think the young man was addressing what he saw as another human being in Jesus when he called him "good teacher " similar to Plato or Aristotle... Jesus knew his heart and answered him as a human being...in fact if the young man knew he was talking to God, he certainly would have given up all he had to follow Jesus.

Jesus use the word "But " in Mark 10 6 in Matthew 19 4 And he answered and said unto them, Haave ye not read, that he wich made them at the beginning made them male and female, and that is the word of The Lord.Amen.

I believe the 31st verse is concerning the previous verses Peter was ready to leave all and follow Jesus to spread the good news of the Savior but they had much to leave behind family businesses etc the natural things and Jesus was just encouraging them that they would have even more a richer life a secure eternity and it might seem like a huge sacrifice but in reality they will be honored and a great reward would await them if they trusted and put spiritual ahead of natural least that s how I see it
