However, those who insist our LORD will subject His Body of believers to His own wrath will receive such as perfectly stated in Matthew 24 verses 48 through 51, Mark 13 verses 31 through 37 and Luke 12 verses 45 through 47. I woke up this morning with this verse onn my mind it scared me or intriqued me, so I just looked it up on google to get a take on others views...!

This is a solemn verse to all who are waiting for the second coming of Jesue,because the rapid changes in nature shows that we are almost home.

Jerusalem was thrown into the penalty box for her sins twice, two times (double). The first time was the first destruction of the temple and the city by the Babylonians (586 BCE). The Jews, the rightful hosts, were taken captive for 70 years and Jerusalem allowed to lie desolate. They returned during the rule of Cyrus the Persian.

The 2nd time was the 2nd destruction of the city and the temple by the Romans in 70 CE. The holy place was "trampled under foot" by the Gentiles ( Daniel 8:13, Luke 21:24) until 1967, when the Jewish people regained control of the old city and temple mount. This was exactly 2300 years after the fulfillment of the first event (Battle of Granicus) in Daniel's vision in Daniel 8 (vs. 6 and 7).
