    Hi Jim,

You initiated a reply to me. I'm not sure how interested you are in my belief, but I am happy to dialogue with you as long as it is respectful and grounded in the truth of God's word, not man's opinion. You shared scripture which is great, I believe all the scripture you shared, but I don't believe your interpretation of it. I believe you have misinterpreted it and I can be very specific to the exact reasons why for each point if you are genuinely open to it. For the scripture you shared there is more scripture that says Jesus is God. He's not God the Father, but God the Son. I believe this, because the scripture says this, not because of feelings, bias, or agenda, but because it literally says Jesus is God in John 1:1. Do you believe John 1:1?

Your comment began with a question not about the trinity as the Bible says in 1 John 5:7. But your question wasn't about what the Bible says in 1 John 5:7, but the word 'trinity'. Since we don't know each other I don't know your motive for saying that, but I can say that some others use it as a common straw man argument to deceive others in order to discredit Jesus. The word the "Bible" isn't in the Bible either, so is it not a Bible? The word used in 1 John 5:7 is the three are 'one', so if you can use that if you don't like the word trinity.

    John 1:1

    1 John 5:7

    Genesis 1:26

    Genesis 11:6-7

    John 10:30

    John 8:19

    John 1:1

    Philippians 2:5-8

    2 Corinthians 5:19

    John 1:3

    1 John 5:7

    Matthew 28:19

    1 Peter 1:2

    2 Corinthians 13:14

    Deuteronomy 6:4

    John 14:10

    John 20:28

    1 John 5:8

    1 John 2:22-24

Isaiah 7:14 - Jesus is called Immanuel which means "God with us"

    Matthew 1:23-25

Hebrews 1:8 "But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom."

Isaiah 44:6 - Lord is King of Israel, Besides me there is no God.

"Sons of God" isn't THE Son of God.

    Do you believe these verses?

Hi Adam. That's an interesting research. I had to cheat, forgive me, but found the following to add to your list:

    U2's song "40" (based on Psalm 40:1-3)

Johnny Cash's "He turned water into wine" ( John 2:1-11)

Carole King, "Where you lead" ( Ruth 1:16)

Kelly Clarkson, "Be Still" ( Psalm 46:10)

Queen, "The prophet's song" (based on the Genesis Flood account)

Elvis Presley, "His Hand in mine" (inspired from Psalm 23)

Rolling Stones, "Prodigal Son" ( Luke 15:11-32)

The Killers & Elton John, "Joseph, better you than me" (based on Joseph, Jesus' 'guardian')

Happy New Year dear "Viktoria". God will explain to you what you need to cleanse yourself from. It can be coffee or anything you do before going to the Lord. I pray for this new year that all believing Jesus saved people give the Lord what He wants. First place in the morning.

Then he does the rest of the work with us and in us. 1-John-2-3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. So what is the meaning of those words?

Before you ask questions about what is right, know that in Jesus we love our brothers and sisters, it is a great advantage that you Love Jesus, love your brother and sister and love yourself so that you give your self food. The food we christian eat is in the word of God. For my part KJV. Today i got a word for rememering:

1 John 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

7 Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.

8 Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.

9 He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.

10 He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.

Because we must love so in order to fulfill Jesus' last and only commandment.

If we lives in the body of Christ and love stayes in us. Will He our Father in heaven fulfill His work in us, belive that. God bless u in the Holy Name of Jesus. Love u in Christ.

    Hi

    Mathew 3:10-11.

I would like to add one or two more things that I believe is to be very important. Whether by water baptism or baptism by the Holyspirit, is it evident in your life that spiritual baptism has taken place.

You will run into 2 major groups engage on this topic. One group is those who believe you are saved by confessing Jesus and keeping the commandments. Some of this group believe you can lose your salvation. This group is bond to a work base religion.

The other group believes "for by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Even the faith you are being saved through is not your faith! it is a gift of God!

You have nothing to offer God in terms of salvation! I hold this view.

True baptism when you "GENUINELY" accept Christ as your savior there is production in your life that begins. You can't produce it or keep it from producing as you feed on the word.

I will share a few by verses below and hopefully others can expand on them or add to.

Notice Paul' he didn't have much to say about water baptism, but he had a lot to say about baptism by the Holyspirit.

    Romans 6:4.

    Romans 6:6-8.

    Romans 6:11.

It does well to study all of Romans 6 to expand a little on "the production' of spiritual baptism.

    JOHNS BAPTISM.

you can see a picture of this transition for the Jews drawn out for you by Paul in Romans 7:1-2. Read all.

    Now read Mathew 3:10-11.

Israel was a natural branch that didn't bear fruit. Jeremiah 2:21. "Nor could it"

Also read Mathew 21:42-44. and John 15:1-7.

Now let's get back to our 2 groups.

You have the 1st group I mentioned that put themselves in bondage as did Israel and despising the truth.

believing in baptism outwardly but unbaptized inwardly.

    EXAMPLE: Romans 2:25-29.

    The 2nd group

    Philippians 3:3.

    Galatians 3:13.

    John 8:36.

    The outcome.

    1John 2:3.

    1 John 4:21.

This Love cannot be produced by self.

    God bless.

    Bro David,

    Yes, Jesus made a whip.

John 2:15, NIV: "So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables."

John 2:15 KJV "And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables;"

    Read and believe.

We are saved by faith, because of the shed blood of Jesus. However, Jesus told us that God's law will stand till heaven and earth pass. The law in Col 2 is the handwritten Moses' law not the !0 Commandments, finger-written by God.

If we sin, we need to repent. What is sin? 1 John 3vs 4 ' sin is the transgression of the law.' So, clearly, Jesus expects us to obey the law. It is written in our hearts but still can be over-ruled by us. Besides, what exactly does 'written in our hearts 'mean? Let us not be confused with trying to convert old Greek understandings exactly into modern English. We still have freewill and are not automatons obeying the Lord because of His presence within us. How can there be any disagreement between the written law and the law in our hearts? Jesus Christ is the same 'yesterday, today and forever' and Hebrews 13:8 'I am the Lord, I change not."( Malachi 3:6). What does being saved mean? To verbally accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour without complete submission to Him as Lord is worthless-- Rev 3:16.

We can lose our salvation. see, eg. Matt 24:13-'but he that shall endure to the end shall be saved' and Rev 3:11.

This issue is really important and often confusing. We are saved so we won't sin and will develop characters fit for heaven. God does not ever want any more disobedience. We must understand that His ways are perfect and we must obey.

Are you ready for His return? Let's look at the characteristics of his faithful followers at that time. Revelation 14:12-

'They keep the COMMANDMENTS OF GOD AND THE FAITH OF JESUS.' Note further Rev 22:14-

'Blessed are they that DO HIS COMMANDMENTS, that they may have RIGHT to the tree of life and may enter into the city.'

Note that it says HIS commandments, not somebody else's. Jesus does not separate Himself from His law.

'I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. The Bible also tells us in Psalm 119 vs 142 'Thy law is Truth.'

1 John 2:4- we are liars if not keeping commandments.

To the person who said God gave a new commandment to love your neighbor. That is NOT A NEW COMMANDMENT.

    OLD TESTAMENT:

"but you shall love your neighbor as yourself; I am the Lord."

    Leviticus 19:18

Jesus came to FULFILL the LAW! NOT DESTROY IT.

Jesus Christ kept every commandment and did not sin once. If Christ is in us we do NOT continually DISOBEY.

"And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning."

    1 John 2:3-4, 7 KJV

"Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil."

    1 John 3:4-8 KJV
  • William - In Reply - 3 years ago
    Hello Chris

The scriptures that you quoted are certainly true. We are saved by faith not by obeying the law. He shed His blood for us. However, disregard of the law of God was what brought down Lucifer and Adam and Eve. There was no sin till then. We, in our flesh, also do not obey nor can obey the law of God. The 10 Commandments have not been abolished. Jesus said in Matthew 5 vs 18: 'till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law till all be fulfilled.'

What does being saved mean? To verbally accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour without complete commitment is worthless. What does He say about being lukewarm? We can lose our salvation as evidenced by scriptures such as Matthew24:13 'but he that shall endure to the end, the same shall be saved', Rev 3:11 'hold fast..so that no one may seize your crown', also eg. Mark 13:13, Hebrews 6:4-65, Heb 3:6

"SIN IS THE TRANSGRESSION OF THE LAW" 1John 3:4. If we sin, we have forgiveness by repenting to our advocate with the Father. 1 John 2:1. With His Spirit within us, we grow in our characters to become more like Jesus, who obeyed His Father.

He did not sin and became our substitute. We are saved from our sins not to keep on sinning. Deception in the churches on this point abounds. We are warned not to be deceived-eg. Matt24;4, 2 Thess 2-3, 1 Cor 6:9-10

To see what the faithful church will look like at the return of Jesus, examine Rev 14vs12- THEY KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD AND THE FAITH OF JESUS. In contrast to this, 'the love of many shall wax cold.' Matt 24:12

    Note further Rev 22vs 14:

' BLESSED ARE THEY THAT DO HIS COMMANDMENTS, THAT THEY MAY HAVE RIGHT TO THE TREE OF LIFE AND MAY ENTER IN THROUGH THE GATES INTO THE CITY.'

Jesus does not separate Himself from His law. He said of Himself 'I am the Way, the Truth and the Life.'

The Bible also tells us in Psalm 119vs 142 'Thy Law is Truth.'

1 John 2:4 says we are liars if we say we love Him and do not keep His commandments.

    Hey GIGI,

I am with you, we may not ever know when Jesus was born, Earl is close on the month, but the only thing Jesus said to do in remembrance of Him was at the last super, Luke 22:19. Scripture does let us know when Jesus came, the year He was baptized. Luke 3:1-6 when John the Baptist came. Tiberius Caesar was emperor from 14-37 A.D. Pontius Pilate ruled from 26-36 A.D. so the fifteenth year of Tiberius would have been 29 A.D. start of John the Baptist ministry.

This may have been in the late summer or early fall, Jesus came up from Galilee to Jordan to be baptized and the Spirit of God descending upon him, Matt. 3:13-17 Mark 1:911 Luke 3:21-22. Then Jesus went into the wilderness for forty days, tempted by Satan, then collecting the twelve.

In John 2, Jesus was in Cana of Galilee at the wedding and after in John 2:13, the Passover was at hand. This would place it just before spring of 30 A.D. There are four Passovers recorded in John, John 2:13 John 5:1 John 6:4 John 19:14, Jesus was crucified on the fourth. John 6:4 is in question if it was a Passover, or another required feast. May this help.

    God bless,

    Hello, 1John 2:26-27 says,

"These things I have written to you concerning those who try to deceive you. But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all thing, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it as taught you, you will abide in Him."

Daniel, if you are a believer in Jesus Christ, then you already have this anointing, because the Holy Spirit is the anointing, and He lives within each believer from the time He regenerates a person at conversion.

The Spirit will always lead you into what is truthful. He will never lie to you or lead you into what is false. The tricky part truly is discerning whether your personal "education" about God's truth is definitely from the Spirit of Truth, or from your one reasoning, or from another believer sharing their "learning" with you. Discernment is really a great thing to pray to receive from the Holy Spirit, as He definitely wants to give this good gift to those who desire it and ask for it in prayer.

I Use the anointing of the Holyspirit,

1 John 2:27. But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

    And if that don't work I Use 10 w 40.

    Just kidding!

I'm not sure you can Improve on what God has provided in the Holyspirit.

    God bless.

Hello, Jesus came everyone- do you believe this? Everyone is lost without Him. Matthew 1:21, 1 John 2:2, 1 John 3:8.

False teachers are claiming that everyone is saved regardless and you don't even need to follow Jesus or do anything at all. Some say you can enjoy yourself, commit unlimited sin, follow and worship satan, because it doesn't matter. Based on this lie, I'm sure many would enjoy using that as justification to commit sin tonight: maybe have an affair, do drugs, lie, steal, commit violence, and do whatever your heart desires, and all the things God hates. None of this info comes from the Bible. Jesus said the opposite of what people are spewing here. If Jesus was here today they would likely call Him names, like legalistic or unloving or unaccepting. People are embracing the values of the world over the God's values. Jesus warned everyone to NOT SIN and be NOT of this world. People are twisting things to justify themselves living and following the world and assume they are saved when they are not. The end will be exactly as Jesus predicted: Matthew 7:21.

People at least can't say they weren't warned. But the false teachings about people saying there's no hell, no sin, no this or that is all lies. It's like the devil himself posting lies. A lot of cherrypicking and scripture ignoring must happen to make such a conclusions and it begs the question if everyone is already saved then why read the Bible or spread the gospel if what they say is true? Really sad to see that on a Bible site where 1 click away God's word debunks it. God bless...

I'm not understanding your question/statement. I'm not sure which pastors you speak of. Riots that happened early 2020?

Anti mask? Antivax? These five you've quoted Can't, in truth, be lumped together. Let's address the first 2.=

GOD made us in HIS image, we reflect HIS glory, HE didn't create humanity with masks. HE created us with an immune system. We are to go about with unveiled faces. We are to live by faith & not fear. Many discussions have been had on this site about these issues.

    Revelations 21:8,

    Ecclesiastes 37:11, John 2:13-17

USA We The People are the Governing Authority & by Duty, are required to right the "government" when they usurp their authority.

The last 3 labels Antilove,- charity, ect, clearly are not of Christ.

    1John 4:18, 2 Timothy 3:15-17,

    Isaiah 26:3,

Hopefully these are helpful in the heaviness you feel

    Dear Sir or Madam,

Thank you for the insult "You are obviously not aware of the Scriptures." Do you mean scriptures like Matthew 5:11 and 1 Peter 4:14?

Let's address your claim: "The Bible is to the Israelites only."

Is that true? Since there is a lack of evidence for this how can we be certain if your statement is true or not?

Maybe you believe that because Jesus focused his ministry on Israel as said in Matt 15:24. But that doesn't automatically mean his teachings weren't for others, does it?

1 John 2:2 - this says Jesus died for the sins of the 'whole world', not just Israelites. Doesn't that contradict what you said?

John 10:16 - Jesus was ministering to one fold (flock) and said He had others. Could this mean He was talking about people in other countries besides Israel?

Romans 3:29 - this clearly says God is the God of not just Jews but Gentiles too. Doesn't that contradict what you said?

Isaiah 42:6 - same thing. This means He will be a light to other nations. This means the ministry DID include other people besides Israelites.

Acts 2:21 - Everyone who calls upon the Lord shall be saved. If what you said was true it would say [Only Israelites] who call upon... But it clearly says "everyone."

Have you read the above scriptures and what do they mean to you?

Do you believe all moral law is Israel-only like murder, adultery, theft, idols? So, do you think God is ok with non-Israel people committing those sins?

Your Freedom Your Will Your Choice

The one thing that attracted me years ago to the word was the Love of God shown by Jesus Christ, and in

Romans 2:4 second half its the goodness of God that leadeth thee to repentance[ a change of mind leading to a change

of heart]. According to 1 Timothy 2:2 Gods will is to have all men saved to be saved and to come to the knowledge of

the truth. In John 3:16 which is familiar to most if not all of us, God so loved the world that he gave[it was his will to

save his creation includes all men] his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have

everlasting life. 17 he that believeth on him is not condemned, but he that believeth not is condemned already.

The reason is stated next because they loved there own deeds or works which were wrong being blinded by Pride

greed lust literally loved themselves at the expense many times of others lives that's evil. So don't tell me I'm

doing anything wrong I've got everything I want so why should I change. They loved there deeds and are blinded by

2 Corinthians 4:4 the god of this world still what you sew is what you reap and they are without excuse. 1 John 2:15+16

can dim the Glow of Gods light in us if we allow it also be not quick to condemn

or judge, we at one time were there. We plant and water in Love but Father gives the increase. Jesus Christ spent a lot more time teaching principles of our Fathers love and

walking with God than the end result of unbelief because Gods desire is to have no one join or taken down by

His Arch enemy. Weare indeed the preservers or the Salt until we are gathered together. Just some heart

Christians have a decision to make: whether to trust and follow God's morals or the world's morals? Christianity (folllowing Jesus) isn't a one time event, but a lifelong pursuit. 1 Corinthians 9:24. It says to run the race (effort); it doesn't say the race is already finished. Some get off course and don't care.

Some Christians follow God's morals only to the point where it conflicts with the world's morals, then proceed with the world's morals instead. The result is following the world (1 John 2:15).

Despite Acts 2:38 saying to be baptized, some say "don't" be baptized.

Despite John 14:6 saying to go to Jesus, some say to go through a 'prophet' or pope.

Despite James 4:17 saying to avoid sin, some claim it's bad and 'legalism' to avoid sin.

Despite Psalm 139:13 saying unborn babies are special, some claim killing them is ok.

Despite Ezra 7:13 saying people have freewill, some claim they "don't" have freewill.

Despite Matthew 7:13 saying most people will go to hell, some say most will "not" go to hell.

Despite Matthew 10:28 warning us about hell, some say "there is no hell."

Despite 1 Timothy 2:12 saying women shouldn't teach, some say they "should."

Despite Leviticus 20:13 saying homosexuality is a sin, some say it's "not" a sin.

Despite John 15:10 saying to obey, some say it's ok to "not" obey.

Despite John 1:1 saying Jesus (the Word) is God, some say Jesus is "not" God.

Despite 1 John 5:7 saying 3 are one, some say the 3 are "not" one.

The rationalizing pattern seems to be: "No, the Bible doesn't say [what it actually says], but says [something I'm more comfortable with]". This format seems awfully similar to Genesis 3:4 where satan says "Ye shall NOT surely die." Satan is called the father of lies for a reason and some Christians assume they are immune to it.

Rationalizing the world's morals over God's morals seems to require ignoring scripture. Does anyone agree?

So, should we follow God's Word or man's word (which might be satan's word)?

    God bless...

    The conclusion of all things.

    Revelation 22:1-7.

Let's skip ahead to 2 neglected verses.

Revelation 22:10-11. And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.

He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

Here's where the unjust will remain unjust, and the just will remain just. Meaning judgement is past tense by the time we get here.

Revelation 22:12. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. Sounds familiar? ( 1 Corinthians 3:14-15.)

Revelation 22:14-15. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Verse 14 we have the redeemed! They're the just that will stay just mentioned in verse 11. How did they do his commandments? By Atonement!

    Romans 3:24-28.

Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

    Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

    Also: 1 John 2:1-2.

    And Hebrews 10:14-17.

    Revelation 5:9. And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

Sister GiGi, may CHRIST IN US grace us with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.

There are TWO realms of understanding, man understanding with a carnal mind, or the understanding with CHRIST MIND.

Every person ever created of the dust of the earth, is God's temple, most haven't had this revealed to them, therefore, all mankind, is the CHURCH.

Every person, whether they are male or female is the WOMAN.

The MAN, Jesus Christ is the HUSBAND of the WOMAN.

1 Timothy 2:11 Let the woman (bride) learn in silence with all subjection (to Christ, her husband).

1 Timothy 2:12 But I suffer not the woman to usurp authority over the man ( Jesus Christ, the husband), but to be in silence.

1 Timothy 2:13 For (the second) Adam was NOT DECEIVED, but the WOMAN being DECEIVED was in the transgression.

1 Timothy 2:14 Notwithstanding, she (the WOMAN) shall be SAVED IN CHILDBEARING (giving birth to truth, life, the way, CHRIST IN US), if they (the CHURCH) continue in FAITH (OF CHRIST) and CHARITY (OF CHRIST) and HOLINESS (OF CHRIST) with SOBRIETY (OF CHRIST).

If the woman has questions, she should as the man, her husband, Christ. (1 John 2:27).

We suffer from words of rebuke by those that have NOT YET had the carnal mind DESTROYED and CREATED afresh to the mind of Christ.

Isaiah 11:9 ....for the earth shall be full of the KNOWLEDGE of the LORD ....

God bless and keep speaking HIS WORDS.

    WHO Is SATAN

Genesis 3:1 Now the SERPENT (Satan) was more subtil than any BEAST of the Field which the Lord God Had made...

God made ALL THE BEAST of the field out of DUST, The BEAST are all made FLESH.

1 Corinthians 15:39 Not all flesh is the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of man, another of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.

Which of these creations of FLESH is the MOST SUBTIL, Of course it's MAN.

Job 26:13 By his Spirit he hath garnished the heavens; His (Spirits) hand hath formed he crooked (liar and murderer, from the beginning) serpent (subtil beast).

1 John 2:16 ..The lust of the FLESH, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life..

Which of these creations of FLESH have the capabilities to have the pride of life, lust of the FLESH, and the lust of the eyes, of course it's MAN.

James 2:19 thou (terrestrial FLESH) believest there is one one God, thou doest well, the devils (Satan, terrestrial FLESH) also BELIEVE, and tremble.

Revelation 13 :8 Here is wisdom let him that hath UNDERSTANDING count the number of the BEAST (FLESH): for his number is the number of a MAN..

Who is the ONLY beast of the field that is subtil, can lust, can BELIEVE and can buy and sell. Why of course, it's MAN, THE PRINCE(S) OF THIS WORLD.

You BELIEVE, long before you are BORN AGAIN. Terrestrial FLESH, the carnal mind, has to BE DESTROYED (it's the process of light replacing darkness).

1 Corinthians 5:5 To deliver such a one (terrestrial flesh) to Satan (terrestrial flesh) for the DESTRUCTION of the Flesh, that the Spirit might be SAVED in the day of the Lord.

Isaiah 9:20 ..they shall every man EAT THE FLESH OF HIS OWN RIGHT ARM.

Zechariah 14:12 ..their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet..

Revelation 19:18 That you may eat the flesh of kings, and he flesh of captains, and the flesh of might men..

Romans 13:11 ..now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

    Good post!

I think that 1 john 2:27 does teach us that the Holy Spirit will guide our learning, but it does not say we should learn alone or in a vacuum. We are to teach and exhort one another, building one another and edifying those who we interact with in Christ. I have learned many things from the Holy Spirit in a private setting. These teachings and illumination of Scripture by the Holy Spirit are very obvious and easily identified as being from Him. I have learned many things from the preaching of my pastor. Sometimes, unbeknownst to me, he preaches on a passage of Scripture I just read the night before. Many times I learn from a Bible study. But I think that I learn the most when i am with my friends of 40+ years and we talk life, kids, concerns, and the great things Jesus is doing in us each day.

    Hi Sister GiGi.

    Thanks for the reply.

You are absolutely right, Revelation Ch 2 and 3, is a great study for the Church, and it instructs us in the right direction and shows us what's lacking. I can see some truth in what Matt is saying, Today some seem to want to sit around and talk over scripture in a round table setting with no virtue from the discussion. There seems to be a push to excuse or accept anything as long as one "says" he or she loves Jesus. A true believer shouldn't be totally lacking in fruit barren. When we feed on the "sincere" word whether by reading or one's teaching and we seek truth there should be spiritual growth at some point. We often quote and misuse 1 John 2:27. here I think John is talking about the Spirit giving revelation. Because the Lord gifted the Church with teachers and if their message is true there is a spiritual growth goes on that we have no control of, it's a leading out to green pasture. If the message is false we flee! That's revealed by the Spirit as well.

Luke 17:20-21. I hold the view that the Lord is saying in their midst. The kingdom of God is not coming the way the Pharisees expected. it want be with observation where he would come and usher out the Romans. God was ruling in the hearts of some people and the king was standing in front of them. John the baptist said in Matthew 3:1-2. In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea,

And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. and also Jesus Matthew 4:17. From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. However they rejected their king, "He will return". Matthew 23:39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. we do know they seen him again, What this means is behold him as a nation. And that will be done in the Millennium when he sits on David's throne.

    God bless you.

    Millennium kingdom.

    Part 6.

The Millennium will be the time when there will be the full manifestation of the glory, the power and the will of God over this earth. And all agree that this is not in evidence today. You'll not have hospitals, you'll not have graveyards, you'll not have the suffering nor broken hearts and lives when Christ is reigning on this earth. And it's an insult to my Lord to say that the Kingdom of Heaven is being built today and is in existence on this earth. When He is reigning you won't have the tragedy that presently exists throughout the world.

Millennium takes its label, is detailed in numerous passages including Revelation 20, Isaiah 65, and Ezekiel 40-48, among others. Ezekiel's detailed tour of the Millennial Temple virtually defies any skeptic's attempt to treat it allegorically.

1 John 2:27. Is not a verse we use to defy scripture. Any revelation from the Holyspirit should line up with Gods written word, and what Jesus taught.

John 14:26. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

One can symbolize all the scripture and twist it to say what ever. This is Dangerously flawed!!

Jesus said MY sheep hear my voice, to follow another voice and turn from the call of the great shepherd then you're not his sheep.

Paul says Galatians 1:6-8. I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:

Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

    2 John 1:9-10.

Keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:

Which some professing have erred concerning the faith.

    God bless.

Brother Kevin, You can have all kinds of bible dictionaries and concordances and translations. But, because so much of scripture is signified, these don't fully help.

The ONLY way to understand God's word is for him to TEACH YOU.

The word of God and the HOLY SPIRIT is all you need.

    1 John 2:27

Never cease asking for him to GIVE you the FULLNESS of the SPIRIT.

Brother Earl may Christ bless us and increase us in His heavenly wisdom.

I have been reading many of your posts over the last 6 months and am in agreement with much of the what you have said as inspired by Him. Funny thing is that I had been meaning to to ask you the same thing that English Sachs said also. I believe 1 John 2:27 similar as God grants us more insight as we mature in Him. When I became a man I put away the childish things. Or more recently as when the day star rises in you.

Anyway, what about Act 1:9-11, I am still still believing that there will be some in flesh that repopulate the earth during His reign. Or in Zechariah where His feet will touch the mount and split the earth.

Also, believe in the resurrection of the just and unjust.

We could also put on in a moment and twinkling of and eye our celestial bodies and still be here like Christ on the road to Emmanus. Very soon the heavens will be rolled back like a scroll!

Mainly just wanted to know what you thought about Acts 1:9-11.

May we all have great patience and love for one another as we move forward and upward in Christ!

May God bless you brother Earl

    James 1:5-6, 1 John 2:27,

Sometimes I feel we're on a 'need to know' basis: GOD reveals many things as we need to know. Sometimes I've wondered about something & right away GOD's given me the answers. Other times it was years. Sometimes I've read scripture then another time reading, something powerful is revealed that I hadn't noticed beforehand or the fact my circumstances have changed giving me deeper understanding. I will also pray you have deeper understanding. Philippians 1:6,

I would like to point out however the correlation between Psalm 22, Isaiah 53, & the Gospels Matthew Mark Luke & John are insightful to me understanding it to be prophetic. Isaiah 52:7-14,

Hopefully this is helpful & encouraging.
