22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I [am] God, and [there is] none else. Isaiah 45:22

DO NOT WORSHIP JESUS (PEACE BE UPON HIM). Worship only one true god, creator of the heavens and earth, your creator and creator of all things living and dead. Creator of Jesus , Moses, Abraham and Mohammad (peace be upon all of them).

If you worship jesus (peace be upon him) or any other but god, jesus will say to you:

    "depart from me……"

The Lord made all things, period! Everything that exists, good or evil, is of God. Nothing can oppose His will.

blessings come from knowing the word. Keep reading the scriptures as your praying. Try to search for the truth as in Genesis 1:2 the word "was" is became, hayah code #1961 in the Exhaustive Strong's Concordance. We know it became without form and void because God created earth beautiful spoken of in Isaiah 45:18,19. Also check wisdom speaking in Proverbs 8:22-31 and if you check Job 38:7 and God speaking of creation to Job you notice in verse 7 all the souls ever created were there with God and as wisdom said in Proverbs so she was also with the family. So, God did know Jeremiah before, and loved Jacob before, and hated Esau in the first world that was as Peter spoke of it in 2 Peter 3 the world of old but not to a full end but reserved for fire of the ungodly men. As you read replenished to this earth, we were, and that is the mystery that Paul teaches.

The word of God reminds us that He is the only One in our lives and we must never take Him for granted.Jesus is the same yesterday today and forever
  • Glen on Isaiah 45 - 12 years ago
Verses 5-6 are the essence of this chapter. They set the absolute statement of Truth. The chapter can be problematical if we read verse 7 (and on) just like verses 5-6 because the absolute truth of 5-6 cannot be expressed in worldly or relative terms. For example, did God create darkness? This is absurd because darkness is actually nothing but the absence of light. The things which appear in the world that God did not create are the errors we create in our own thoughts. As we understand the simple point that God is All and God is Good the relative or worldly errors simply disappear.

I always looked to this scripture when thinking about the Trinity. God was mono-.. one in all respects! He said there is no on except me. I also think about how people worshiped Jehovah back in bible times. They never recognized 3 beings in one. It was simply one Jehovah to them.
  • Brianna Wilson on Isaiah 45:18 - 12 years ago
I love how your website gives different translations! Thank you!!! They help give clear understanding!

This scripture really shows how God created the earth to Be man's home! He formed it to be inhabited. Had Adam and Eve not have sinned then certainly they and their children would still be living on earth. Eternal life on a paradise earth, which means no death, which means no heavenly after life.

    @Dolores

Genesis Chapter 2 mentioned about the TREE OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND "EVIL" ( Genesis 2:9,17). But you are talking "all about Lucifer" on your comment dated 9/20/2013 at 12:19pm WITHOUT stating from which Bible Chapters and Verses you quoted them. We cannot verify your statements if they are TRUE or NOT unless you sight your references from the Bible. I gave you all my references so you could check on them based on your discussion about Lucifer on your comment dated 9/08/2013 at 7:51am. I would like to give you my response to your comment after you stated here the Chapters and Verses from which you based all your explanations. For the sake of discussion about "EVIL" as mentioned in Genesis 2 Verses 9 and 17: It is written in Isaiah 45:7 "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things" to which I based my conclusion that all EVIL created by God from the beginning was created as EVIL right from the START and all GOOD created by God from the beginning was created as GOOD right from the START. Therefore LUCIFER was created as EVIL right from the START and right from the BEGINNING because he is the father of it as stated in John 8:44, "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it".

It is clear in Isaiah 45:18 for thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God himself that form the earth and made; He has established it,He created it not in vain, He formed it to be inhabited:

(This is my response to Shane's comment dated 9/12/2013 at 3:46am on Genesis Chapter 3):

It is FALSE to say that the devil was with God in the beginning because God said in Isaiah 45:7, "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things" which means that God was already there before He created evil and that includes Satan, the Devil.
  • Rosalina on 1 Samuel 19 - 12 years ago
(This is my response to Frida's comment dated 9/13/2013 at 7:32am on 1 Samuel Chapter 19 about verse 9):

The evil spirit comes from the Lord because God said in Isaiah 45:7, "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things". BUT, never misinterpret this verse thinking that evil is good since God created it because there is a curse when you do that as it is written in Isaiah 5:20, "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!".
  • Rosalina on Jeremiah 1 - 12 years ago
My respond to Bodurin Ajiboye's Jeremiah Chapter 1 comment about verse 19 on 9/06/2013, 5:27pm: GOD is awesome! We must accept the fact that He created everything. As it's written in Isaiah 45:7 "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things". But the verse should not be misunderstood. Whoever call evil good or good evil shall be cursed as it is written in Isaiah 5:20.
  • Rev. Autrey on John 1:29 - 12 years ago
(Verse 19) "Look! There is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!" John made this statement in reference to the removal or forgiveness of our sins. When we are saved, that is, when we believe or have faith in Jesus, his substitutionary or atoning death takes away any and all of our sins. This leaves us clean and righteous in God's sight, free to do the good works God has designed for us to do.

To be a subtitute means to die in the place of another. This means that the death of Jesus was not capricious. It's legal basis was to place Jesus in the place of all people and punish him for their crimes.

This could only take place if Jesus is the one who made us, and is therefore God. This is what David means when he says, "Open for me the gates where the righteous enter, and I will go in and thank the Lord (Jesus). Those gates lead to the presence of the Lord (Jesus), and the godly enter there. I thank you for answering my prayer and saving me!" ( Psalm 118:19-21) The prophet Isaiah says the same thing in Isaiah 45:21-22: "... For there is no other God but me-a just God and a Savior-no, not one! Let all the world look to me for salvation!

What we are talking about here is self identity or personality. That is, the self identity or personality through whom God's saves us is Jesus.
  • Rev. Autrey on Isaiah 45 - 12 years ago
In this verse God says, "Look unto me, and be ye saved." It is translated in another translation, "Let all the world look to me for salvation." But isn't Jesus the one who saves us? This means that Jesus is the way God saves us.
Then, the Father does not save us, nor does the Holy Spirit.

This makes sense when we realize that these are the personalities or persons of God, with each doing a specific job. Peter said it this way. "For Jesus is referred to in the Scriptures, where it says' 'The stone that you builders rejected has now become the conerstone.' There is salvation in no one else! There is no other name in all of heaven for people to call on to same them.' It makes sense then that if the name of Jesus is the only name to be called on to be saved, then we must direct our prayers to God through the personality of God who bears this name.

Listen to this prayer by the early saints. "O Sovereign Lord, creator of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them. ...( Acts 4:24) Isn't Jesus the one who is the creator of everything there is? John 1:3 says that he is! "He created everything there is. Nothing exists that he didn't make. Life itself was in him...."

    O' that we may understand!
  • Bible Reader on Isaiah 45:18 - 12 years ago
Note how the Basic English Bible translates this scripture: "who made it not to be a waste, but as a living-place for man". This, along with many other scriptures( Psalms 37:29, Ecclesiastes 1:4, Matthew 6:10, Genesis 2:16,17; 3:19), gives clear, indisputable evidence of God's purpose for the earth.
  • Pastor Jerry Mercer on Isaiah 45:11 - 12 years ago
We need to go back to see that in the context of this verse they were questioning God concerning why he allowed things and did things. God wants to know why we question his leading and hand moving especially when we rebel and don't obey.
That's why we need to follow His leading and direction as He moves in our lives.

THE VISIBLE HISTORICAL MOSES AND CHRIST, THE HUMAN BEINGS WHO MINISTERED MANY YEARS AGO ARE COPIES OF HEAVENLY INVISIBLE MOSES AND CHRIST WHO ARE THE TWO BIBLES IN ONE BIBLE AND ARE READ TO THIS DAY 2013; ONE IS THE OLD COVENANT BIBLE (MOSES) TAUGHT IN CARNAL UNDERSTANDING USING HISTORICAL EARTHLY VISIBLE THINGS OF THE BIBLE FROM THE BOOK OF GENESIS TO THE END OF THE BOOK OF REVELATION AND THE OTHER IS THE NEW COVENANT BIBLE (CHRIST) READ AND INTERPRETED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT REVEALING THE INVISIBLE THINGS OF HEAVEN.

THE OLD COVENANT BIBLE AS THE MOTHER IS CALLED AGAR THAT BEARS CARNAL CHILDREN FOR ABRAHAM/GOD, BUT AS THE HIGH PRIEST IS CALLED MOSES, THE BIBLE WORD FROM HEAVEN BUT DOES NOT GIVE ETERNAL LIFE TO SOULS.
THE NEW COVENANT BIBLE AS THE MOTHER IS CALLED SARAH THAT BEARS CHILDREN BORN OF THE KNOWLEDGE AND WISDOM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, BUT AS THE HIGH PRIEST IS CALLED CHRIST, THE NEW BIBLE WORD ALSO FROM HEAVEN BUT GIVES ETERNAL LIFE TO SOULS THAT ARE ENABLED BY GOD TO READ HIM (WHO IS COME IN THE VOLUME OF THE BIBLE BOOK). JOHN 6:25-34, 2 CORINTH 3:5-6,13-15, GAL 4:21-24,25-28, REV 5, 1 JOHN2:7-8, ISAIAH 54, ISAIAH 45:7-8, HEB 1:1-2, HEB 10:1-9, Use KJV BIBLE

To be surnamed carries a spirit of not just dignity and honor but to know that we belongs to God and that we are His adopted children(sons and daughters). I think of me being Dillis (Christ),the anointed daughter of Jesus.

    @Baptista,
Some versions end the sentence with a question mark. But the great message of the verse is that God is in control of everything He created, He masters every single aspect and category of life; in the past, present and future.
    God bless you.

  • Wendie on Isaiah 45 - 12 years ago
Isaiah 45:18 is really an interesting read, it clearly states the reason why the earth was created and also reaffirms our faith in what the Bible says about the righteous ones possessing the earth. I guess as long as the earth is still standing, it's purpose of being inhabited will be fulfilled.
