In Genesis Chapter 3, I learn that there are two trees that our LORD God is concerned of: The tree of life and the tree to knowledge good and evil. Man ate the fruit of the tree to knowledge good and evil. God decided to drive out man so that he may not eat the remaining tree which is the tree of life which was to make man live for ever. I love the way God's word comes to us that reads it. Amen

Our Lord God keeps his word and all ways stay true to it, and treats us all equal.

Why do we have so many hypocrites in the Christendom trying to interpret a simple verse of a whole chapter. Just to suit their darkened mind. All talk had been on pants or trousers. What then do you say about shirts and T-shirts that are been worn by both men and women? Check up on Genesis 3:21. The first tailor who is God Himself clothed both of them alike. Please leave all these jargons and let's move on to perfecting our walk in Christ in this garden of Salvation. Let's work on how to really populate the Kingdom of our Christ by reaching out to the lost. Stop giving heed to all these Jewish Fables, move on to knowing and experiencing the Power of Christ while we await His coming with soberness. God bless us all. Amen

The first advent of our Lord, and Savior Jesus Christ, is in fulfillment of the promise that the seed of the woman would crush the serpents head. While the serpent would bruise his heel. Mary was used by God to bare the Lord Jesus, and she is called the blessed mother of our Lord. This is a great honor for all women. So God has a special place for women in heaven, for there is neither male nor female in the spiritual realm. Jesus at the cross took our sin, and became sin for us so that we could inherit his righteousness by faith. God will present us faultless at the appearing of Jesus Christ when he comes to take his bride out of this world for the marriage supper of the Lamb.

We (women) weren't created as an afterthought or merely as an extension of man. God created us to fulfill Adam's need for an help meet ( Genesis 2:20). Ephesians 5:22-33 is also a great place to see the love of a husband for his wife. Verse 25 tells it best "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;" Jesus loved us so much that He died for us; our husbands are to love us the same way and should be willing to sacrifice their lives for us as Christ did for mankind. That must mean that God wants men to recognize our value and worth as women.

Does anybody else find it offensive that women are created after everything else and out of Adam's rib, as though we are just an extension of men and don't have our own purpose. Adam even got to name us and his wife! Is there any other perspective to read this section from?

A snake can't talk. It was Satan himself, the most beautiful being God ever created, that tempted Eve. Nowhere does it say a snake can talk, nowhere does it say God took away the power of speech from a snake. What other being could have tempted Eve? All the animals had been named and all the animals had been brought before Adam to try to find him a suitable helpmeet but none would do. And out of all the animals, a snake beguiled Eve? It was Satan.

The covering out of animal skins became first animal sacrifice for covering of sin.

What happens is that the tree of life represents.. Jesus and the tree of good and evil is God versus Satan. We must remember Satan was already cast out of heaven unto the earth, that’s when the battle started when he told eve you will be as gods, that’s what Satan wants to be above God, but it was just a trick for men to fall from God’s grace. I hope this was a help for all that read this commentary.

When Adam and his wife were given skins directly from the LORD God, this was in a figure of the shed blood of Jesus Christ, slain from the foundation of the world, as were the sacrifices under the Law of Moses. What this means is that Adam was redeemed to be as one of us ( Genesis 3:22). Adam was cleansed and made as a son of God by those skins! So a son in his image would also be as a son of God. And Luke 3:23-38 identifies Adam as a son of God. What's the problem?

What I find interesting is the efforts people will go to, to avoid this passage, or to do proper research to find out where all this "subjection" started in scripture, as it says in 1 Corinthians 14:34, "Just as the Law also states". The Pentateuch, or books of the Law, is where this commandment is located. People who do not like this doctrine, however, do not want to do the work necessary to figure out where, and when, this commandment was made. They avoid doing any research at all because the very idea presented in this command, is contrary to their desires. Let’s do a little research, however, and see if we can trace this commandment down. That this "Law" was in place, from the earliest times is clear, if you look at the other references to women, and submission. ( 1 Peter 3:5-6) " 1 Peter 3:5 For in this way in former times the holy women also, who hoped in God, used to adorn themselves, being submissive to their own husbands; 6 just as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord, and you have become her children if you do what is right without being frightened by any fear." That women, and many men, do not like this verse, either, as it clarifies that submission ALWAYS results in obedience to the will of the one submitted to, the same obedience as children to their parents in a discussion that includes wives being subject to husbands, Men to the word of God/Christ, Children to parents, and slaves to masters,... as this is the same word, is also another issue: “ Ephesians 6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.” Again, while this is the exact same word as Sarah’s submissiveness verifies in 1 Peter, shows that the Obedience is the same, and always accompanies biblical submission, but it also shows something else, that submission was in practice PRIOR TO ABRAHAM. This does pin things down a bit. Where, prior to Abraham, did God give this command? Keep in mind that many twist, distort, alter, … the meaning of this passage to fit what they want to believe as well, but if we follow rules for interpreting meaning that are common to ALL languages, then we know that “If the EXACT same wording is used, by the same author, then the meaning is consistent, ESPECIALLY if the exact same wording is used in close proximity to the previous wording.” In other words, if we had a passage that read this: “ Genesis 4:7 "If you do well, will not your countenance be lifted up? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door; and its desire is for you, but you must master it." And another passage that read this, ”Yet your desire will be for your husband, And he will rule over you.", and the wording were exactly the same, and by the same author, and the passages were within, say, 15 verses of each other, the meanings of the two verses would be the same. What is the consistent meaning in BOTH passages? Keep in mind that this EXACT SAME wording is not used anywhere else in scripture. To help, sins desire was to master, or rule over, Cain, and thus have control over him. God said that this was not to be, and that Cain was to be the Master, Rule, be in charge, … over it, and not let sin rule over him. A woman’s desire will be to rule, be in control, be in charge, … over her husband, and he is commanded by God NOT TO LET HER, but to be the master, ruler, … over her. Like I said, most people really do not want to look. Why would any woman want to give up the very things that the word of God says she will truly desire. Any man attempting to teach these things, and to hold his church, and the men in it, accountable for what God commands in this verse, will find out exactly who is in control of the households in his church. Men, keep in mind that there were 2 reasons for God’s giving Adam consequences in Genesis 3:17. The first is that Adam listened to his wife. The second was that Adam disobeyed God. Any man unwilling to obey God’s command to rule over his household, and not let his wife have control, is, in fact disobeying God at the same time. You are no different than Adam. You are habitually sinning. Ruling in love, and submission being voluntary, are, again, separate issues.

There is nothing new again on earth. Obedience is the key to success, particularly to the law and of course to the voice of the Lord. What we see and live with today has its background from creation (our source). Adam (our origin) was created in the image of God, this has a significant link with our belief that Jesus Christ, son of God, is a manifestation of God Himself in person. May we continue to grow in faith from strength to strength with complete guidance from the Holy Spirit. In Jesus name, Amen.

I read Genesis 3:5 and that sums up a lot of the understanding of Satan’s goal to destroy the gene pool as to prevent Jesus from being born. Redeemer and Savior, as stated. Enoch 7th from Adam and earthly father of Methuselah, walked with God and was taken by God but also had a book as well (the Book of Enoch) reportedly found with the dead sea scrolls but not included in the Bible as some man decided not to include. But the light came on several months ago and I really discovered some new area's. My point being when you consider all the different area's it talks of the corrupt things done before the flood, here is the beginning. The fallen Angels (stars-messengers) who with earthly women produced the GIANTS (10-18 feet tall, men of renowned, men of ole). Then look at what our government and other countries are doing with DNA splicing and creating some of these creatures as shown on Egyptian Hieroglyphics. I believe in Satan’s attempt to destroy the gene pool, again as to prevent the return of the Redeemer-Savior-Jesus Christ, he is the one behind all this, he was then and is now. But I find the beginning of Genesis 6 to be the most informative. Just my opinion based on a lot of research and Bible versus that are found in Jude, James, I and II Corinthians.

It is through faith that we understand that the creation took 6 normal days ( Hebrews 11 :3). And they were normal days, just like our days, because God sanctified the 7th day as sabbath in the Law of Moses ( Exodus 20 :10-11). God bless you.

How does anyone know that the heavans and the earth were made in 6 literal days? To GOD a day might be a thousand years for all we know!

This chapter is all about when Adam and Eve sinned aginst JEHOVAH.

I have a confusing question. Our Heavenly Father God, Creator of the world. He created man, Adam, as God called him. Adam was made before the Garden eastward of Eden. He placed Adam in the Garden, eastward of Eden, to till and tend it. Adam named all the animals of the world. In the Garden of Eden there was 2 trees one of Life and another the tree of knowledge of good and evil. When God placed Adam in the Garden, God told him Adam the rules commanded of the Garden, of every tree of the garden thou may eat freely. BUT the tree of knowledge of good and evil thou shalt not eat. What is the tree of life referring to? Being there were 2 important trees mentioned. Then after Adam named all animals etc, he saw there was not one help meet for him. So God caused deep sleep upon him. For God took a rib from Adam to form and created a woman. Yet the woman was not named Eve until the serpent beguiled her, of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Did Adam tell the women of Gods commands of the tree of knowledge? For it says God spoke to Adam of the command before God made the woman. Yet in Chapter 3, the serpent tricked her, what form was the serpent in to talk to the woman, to be saying she could eat of the tree. Yet she said God said no. Then God removed them from the Garden of Eden.

That's waht it says no more and no less, it is about the the bruising heel and the bruising of the head will come up later. So, pay attention do not subtract or take away and the comment about Mary.... Wow that's all I have to say...

This is for the comment that Kimber wrote on 7/12. Our bodies may sleep until Christ calls us home, but our souls don't sleep. 2 Cor 5:8 tells us for to be absent from the body {our souls} is to be present with the Lord. After we die our souls go directly to be in His presence.

The one point that I see being missed here is the definition of (enmity) which most go to mans definition of it being used in other cases, but here it means the law and not only the law but it includes all the other definitions with it. If you understand what Christ did at the cross you have to admit that he fulfilled the law and became sin and nailed the law to the cross and by this act he made it possible for sinful man to approach God. Redeeming God to man and alowing man to be redeemed to God by faith in what he accomplished there on the cross.

Man is created in the image of God. He is being chased out of the ease of life and out of the fellowship with the Lord for he has sinned. A barrier or limit is created that man must overcome to come back to the presence of the Lord. In this way we see that the folly of God is wiser than the wisdom of man ( 1 corinthians 1:25)... and that God has good plans for man ( Jeremiah 29:11) ...

They mixed in 1Chron. 2:55. Also God`s 10 enemies are listed in Genesis 15:19,20,21. So we learn that 2 of every flesh made it through the flood, 2 kenites. It got so bad that the Nethinims, given to service, wood cutters and water haulers for the priest that in the book of Ezra 8:15 there was "none" nope, not one priest but a bunch of kenites playing preacher. But they started watching it and Jeremiah watched the bunch of vipers and even then they had mixed in with the Jews and finely did what scriptures states in 3:15. But Christ will return and He will crush Satans head for sitting where he ought not playing instead of Christ. Just keep Christ in your mind as written in 1 Corinthians 11:10 because Satan and his bunch of vipers are coming as 2 Corinthians 11:13,14 and that transformed is #3345 disquise. Satan as instead of Jesus and satans vipers as priest with iron breastplates, meaning priest breastplates on acting as angels of light but are not spoken of in Revelation 9:9 also hair like woman means soft spoken. Yup! Super preachers and they will take your family members to death who is the son of perdition who is death. But they know the truth and don't want to go. We find antichrist an abomination. So for 2 and a half months while satan is here there is no buying or selling and we don't bow down to no fake god we wait for our True King and husband Our LORD Christ Jesus.

Eve made 6 mistakes when approached by the serpent; 1 she listened to the serpent, 2 she considered his words, 3 she responded to him, 4 she omitted a word, she didn't say "freely", 5 she added words "neither shall ye touch it", Adam and his wife were to tend the garden, be gardeners (this is the FIRST and oldest profession). As gardeners they would have to touch the tree to tend to it. 6 She changed a word "lest ye die" "lest" means maybe, but GOD said ye shall surely die; "shall" means definitely.
Then she further compounded her errors by looking at the tree with her physical eyes instead of her spiritual senses and since she had spirit she could at anytime communicate with GOD until she "ate" of the fruit of that tree. Adam was not mentioned as being around until she offered the fruit to him and he did eat. Since GOD gave them work to do in the garden it is entirely possible that Eve was alone when she spoke to the serpent, the adversary, and he must have dazzled her in some way to make her forget that she could talk with GOD anytime she wished because she had spirit until she sinned then she and Adam died spiritually and became just body and soul (breath life). Soul and Spirit are not the same nor interchangeable. Spirit is GOD's image and likeness; man's life was and is in the soul so the body didn't die when the spirit died. GOD had to create a new spirit for each of them afterward which was inside them only while they did the will of GOD (and did not died when they sinned, only left them until they asked for forgiveness and renewed their minds back to GOD's will), but we are now born-again with GOD as our spiritual FATHER and cannot die spiritually nor lose our spirit because of all the Jesus Christ accomplished our spirit is permanently ours and inside us always until the body dies then it sleeps until the gathering together of all those born-again ("the dead in Christ shall rise first:

The seed of the woman is Christ because God would create (something made from nothing; something made that never before existed; only GOD can create) perfect seed inside a woman so she could conceive. Calling this seed of the woman brings emphasis that no man can bring about the conception of the Christ. Seed is carried by the male.
Seed of the serpent is anyone spiritually "born" to satan; anyone who commits him/her self fully to satan becomes a "child" of satan. But since satan cannot create life this "seed" is a wedge in the mind of the person who is seed to the end that person is permanently open to devil spirit possession. Thus anyone seduced, instructed, and or lured to follow satan can become seed of the serpent. Cain was the proto-type; the blueprint of what those "born" of the wrong seed would be like.

Also spirit CANNOT mate with matter; satan cannot have children with women. Spirit superceeds the physical world, but since satan cannot create he must then influence that which is already created. The sons of God in genesis are believers (no angel was ever called a son of God; God made man to have children who would love and worship HIM) and the daughters of men are unbelievers. This is the first warning that believers and unbelievers should not be married together and have children; this is being unequally yoked.

The reason the ground was cursed was because Adam was taken from the it and the earth was just as much apart of him as Eve was.that's why when we as mankind destroy the earth we destroy ourselves with it. but even more so because he was given dominion over all things because God set him over the works of his hand see (Hebrews2:6..8) Satan though a fallen cherub' but none the less a spirit, it was not possible for him to have done that; being not flesh and blood see(Matthew22:29)from this point in the scripture a spiritual principal is being established that you will be see throughout the rest of the bible. That is (Nakedness)is represent the shamefulness of Sin(see Exodus32:21..25)also (Revelation3:14..18) their eyes were opened and through disobedience they new their sin ,therefor to their own selves did their nakedness appear. Only after hearing the voice of GOD! while in their nakedness did they hide themselves(Gen3:8 which is a common reaction to guilt.the reverse affect of that would be (Isaiah6:8)after the seraphims Had purged his iniquity with the live coal from of the alter! David My friend; Hebrews 11:3 tells us that, through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, So that the things which are seen were not made by the things which do appear. And Romans 1:20 says For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen by the things which are made,even his eternal power and Godhead. So that tells us that the things we see naturally existed spiritually first. that's How they got here physically Even Jesus himself before he was manifest in the flesh! Existed in the spirit of his eternal Godhead and Power.
