What sort of fruit? After its own kind .
Acorn or seed of wheat does not by some abstract or fanciful act produce the harvest . One seed produces another stalk of wheat which in turn has an ear of corn some with 30 ,60 or a hundred seeds. If they in turn are sown each corn of wheat will produce another 30 60 Ora hundred stalks of wheat . Which in turn if sown produce another 30 60 hundred etc etc etc etc etc .
The woman at the well went back into the city and out came a harvest
Joseph went into Egypt and out came over 2 million .
The original blessing of God first to Adam then to Abraham is one of multiplication .
Jesus being the One seed fell into the ground and died . There was a 150 in the upper room on the day of Pentecost and then ther3 was 3000 converted
The gospel preached and the numbers multiplied .
If you sow sparingly you will reap sparingly .
O what shall we liken the kingdom of God
If ye are Christs then are ye Abrahams seed ( one) and heirs according to the promise.
Jesus is The One seed from which if His are we afters His own kind .
And by their fruits shall you know them " The fruit is determined by the seed that is sown .
" The Word of God is the seed " a seed has this property it is not the fruit but I tha everything that is needed and nothing that is not needed to reproduce the fruit.
Add to the Word and you produce no fruit . Take from it and produce no fruit.
We are called to be sanctified unto God and let no corrupt communication Coe out of putouts .
He who sanctifieth and thry who are sanctified are one,
Truly Jesus is the Way the Truth and the Life.
In the mighty and matchless Name of Jesus Christ, I come boldly before Your throne on behalf of my unborn grandchild-this precious life formed by Your hand, destined by Your plan.
Lord, I stand in the gap and place this child under the covenant protection of the blood of Jesus Christ. I plead the blood of Jesus over their body, soul, and spirit. I lift this prayer as a legal declaration in the courts of Heaven:
Every generational curse, pattern, or spirit from Jack and his family line is hereby broken, nullified, and renounced.
I speak to the spirit of control, manipulation, rage, abuse, addiction, mental torment, perversion, fear, shame, narcissism, and idolatry. You will not pass through this womb. You will not touch this child. Your assignment is canceled by the blood of Jesus.
"Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us." - Galatians 3:13
"The one who sins is the one who will die. The child will not share the guilt of the parent." - Ezekiel 18:20
I sever the bloodline connection in the spirit. Though DNA may connect to Jack's household, I declare: this child's spiritual inheritance comes from the Kingdom of God alone.
They are grafted into the line of righteousness, not destruction.
"If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. Old things have passed away." - 2 Corinthians 5:17
"You, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, You are the potter; we are all the work of Your hand." - Isaiah 64:8
Father, I declare divine health over this baby's physical body. No sickness, defect, or hereditary disorder shall pass through Jack's line into this child. I command healing and holy development at every stage of growth.
I declare emotional covering and soul-rest from the womb.
This child will not absorb the spirit of rejection, fear, rage, or torment that plagued Jack's household. They will be nurtured in love, truth, peace, and wholeness.
I declare spiritual identity over this child.
"That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith."
Ephesians 3:6
"That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:"
Romans 11:36
"For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen."

"For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:"
Galatians 3:28-29 There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promise.
Romans 10:12
"For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him."

Galatians 3:28-29 There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promise.

Your quote;
"That's why God waited for Abraham and Sarah. He gave them the promise and waited for them to become elderly and unable to produce children themselves naturally, so that when God moved, it would be all of God, not of man. That's how God works!" end quote. Well stated!
When God performed a covenant with Abraham in Genesis 15:2-6, he didn't allow Abraham to participate. He put Abraham to sleep.
We see the promise of Issac and blessings in various verses throughout the OT.
.
Here's a couple.
1) Genesis 17:19 And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.
2) Genesis 22:16-18.
And that goes for us also!
"For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.
But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.
Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.
For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.
But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband. Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise." Galatians 4:22-28.
ALSO.
Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. Galatians 3:16-17.
Blessings.
In John 5:38-40 we have Jesus speaking to the Pharisees.
And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.
Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.
Jesus is referring to the old testament scriptures. The new testament haven't been recorded yet.
I mention this because the old testament/covenant established under the Levitical priesthood was a foreshadowing of the new covenant that Christ brought in on the cross.
So you see, the Gospel of salvation is mentioned throughout the Bible starting with Genesis. Most notably ( Genesis 3:15 )
You may be able to parallel John 5:38-40 with Hebrews 10:5-10.
Here's just a few notable verses.
Genesis 22:16-18.
Galatians 3:6-9.
Galatians 3:16-19.
John 3:16-18.
Acts 4:12.
Romans 10:9-11.
Ephesians 2:8-10.
Revelation 22:17.
I hope this helps.
God bless you.
I meant to say "whatever is required of us by God is initiated or accomplished by the blessing of Abraham that comes to us through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through FAITH not by command. Galatians 3:12-14.
This promise of the Spirit is the same Spirit/Holyspirit that will cause Israel to walk in God's statutes, and keep his judgments, and do them as a nation. ( Future)
Ezekiel 36:26-27.
The Spirit of God works in the believer the same way today.
I believe this is what Paul is saying in Romans.
God bless.
Exodus 20:8-11 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 11For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it."
Ephesians 3:6 This mystery is that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.
Galatians 3:28-29 There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promise.
Though the matter about the Law, you stated: "We've got to be obedient to his 2 covenants of promise (10 commandments and rainbow covenat "eat clean")", I would disagree with you on. My understanding from the Word, is that we are not under the Law, whether as a requirement to obey or be reliant on it for any degree of salvific merit. The Law was given to Israel, and Israel alone, for a purpose, and the Cross of Christ did away with that Law which could give no salvation ( Romans 8:3, Galatians 3:19-26). Though there was nothing wrong with the Truth & Purity of the Law as uttered by God Himself ( Romans 7:12), its purpose was served to bring Israel to understand that the Law could never change anyone - that they were in bondage to it & their end would be death. The Law simply could not save them. But if they would hear & believe in their Messiah, then full salvation & new life in Jesus would be theirs, freeing them from a Law that only revealed sin & led to death ( Romans 8:1-4). If any believer in Christ is dependent on the Old Law to demonstrate or even give any extra worth to their salvation (or even to please God), then that faith is not based on the full merit of Christ's Sacrifice - for faith in Christ alone, not by any works of goodness or obedience to the Law, will save. And any fusion of the two (Faith plus Law obedience) negates the purity & worth of the Cross.
Galatians 3:14 - That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Galatians 3:16 - Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
Revelation 4:11 - Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
Revelation 5:2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?
Revelation 5:3 And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.
Revelation 5:4 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.
Revelation 5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
Revelation 5:12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
Revelation 5:13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
The Christians get the benefit from the Abraham's God, Jesus Christ.
Romans 8:17
And if children, thenheirs;heirsof God, and joint-heirswith Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
If it wasn't for the gospel of grace in Christ Jesus, the woman would not have the freedom liberty that they have now.
Galatians 5:1
Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
We are Adopted into the family of God because of Abraham's faith and we are bless to receive what comes out of it. America is the strongest nation in the world for it.
Galatians 3:29
And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, andheirsaccording to the promise.
Now we have the gospel of grace that is simple to receive with no works, it's a gift from God in Heaven.
Romans 6:23
For thewagesofsinis death; but the giftofGod is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Ray, in Christ Jesus 1 Corinthians 15:1-4
The free gift of the gospel of grace.
Apostle Paul is a Jew in the flesh.
2 Corinthians 11:22
Are they Hebrews? so am I. Are they Israelites? so am I. Are they the seed ofAbraham? so am I.
Because of Abraham, we received the blessings through Jesus Christ of the Spirit through faith.
Galatians 3:14
That the blessing ofAbrahammight come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
We are bless to receive blessings of being Abraham's seed .
Galatians 3:29
And if ye be Christ's, then are yeAbraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Now Jesus Christ is made of the seed of David in the flesh.

Galatians 3:16
Now toAbrahamand his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
I truly believe that Jesus Christ is the first true Jew.

Romans 9:27
Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved:
The first covenant that will run through Israel.
Genesis 15:18
In the same day theLordmade acovenantwith Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:

Galatians 3:29
And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, andheirsaccording to the promise.
Ray in Christ Jesus 1 Corinthians 15:1-4
They will use bride of Christ, Adoption of the Abraham, they will use speaking in tongue and the Lord's table. Now, I wonder if Peter, John, James and Jude speaks of all these subjects like Apostle Paul's epistle does.
My point is, Apostle Paul has all the answers to live a Christian life today for the Gentiles.
1. Bride of Christ
God is love and is marriage. Paul explains marriage by using the Church the body of Christ.
2 Corinthians 11:2
For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chastevirginto Christ
2. Speaking in tongue
Apostle Paul gives the rule for speaking in tongue.
1 Corinthians 14:27
If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be bytwo, orat the most bythree, and that by course; and let one interpret.
3. Adoption of Abraham
We that are saved have the blessings from Abraham through Jesus Christ.
Galatians 3:14
That theblessingofAbrahammight come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
4. Lord's table
Apostle Paul gives the rules to the Gentiles for the Lord Table, because they were doing it all wrong.
1 Corinthians 10:16
The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?
May we fully understand why Jesus Christ chosen Apostle Paul and put the Twelve on the shelf for a season for the Kingdom of Heaven on earth to come. This is the Grace age of Church the body of Christ Jesus.
Ray, in Christ Jesus 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 the body of Christ Jesus is the Church today and we must believe the gospel .
I am not familiar with what the Quran says, but I will say that, as a Christian believer, I stick with what God has revealed in the Old and New Testaments of the Bible as to what is true and what God wants us to know concerning ancient history and spiritual matters. Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of the God's revelation to mankind. He is the one promised in Genesis 3:15 to Adam and Eve that this person will be triumph over the evil one and restore fellowship with God for mankind. Jesus is the "Seed" promised to Abraham through Isaac (not Ishmael) who will bless all nations and in whom all the promises of God to Abraham are fulfilled.
Read Galatians 3:6-17 and Galatians 3:22-29. Those who believe the gospel of Jesus (Read the book of Romans), not Muhammed's Quran, and then one places their faith in Jesus Christ (not Allah) will be saved and reconciled to God, will receive eternal life because such a believer is in union with Jesus Christ and thus also with the Father, by the working of the Holy Spirit within this believer. This is the one and only way to have salvation from sin, death, hell, and the evil one.
I urge you to be reconciled to God in Christ if you do not already believe in Him. I recommend that you stick with reading only the Bible for Spiritual truth. May you be brought to Christ by the Father and place your faith solely in the God of the Bible, forsaking Allah, Mohammed, and the Quran or any other non-Christian religious writings.
Galatians 3:6 - Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.
Even as Abraham believed God, making reference back to Genesis 15:6, even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. The word accounted is an accounting term and it means to calculate. It was put on his account. And to be made righteous, or considered righteous, all he did was believe. That's it!
Justification, which is being declared right with God, is something that is imputed to you. It is something that is put on your account. You're still the same and you're not any more righteous or unrighteous than you were before. But it's put on your account.
What is imparted to us is the Holy Spirit for sanctification. Righteousness is not imparted to us. It's put to our account. But what is given to us is the Holy Spirit of God. When that happens, I am sanctified. And those are the two doctrines that we are dealing with. So, Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. He believed!
Galatians 3:24 - Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster. That's the Greek word pedagogue. It's equivalent to our nanny type person. The pedagogue was in charge of educating the children, or taking the children to school, dressing them, preparing them, making sure they made it to dinner on time.
Galatians 3:1 - O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?
It says, O foolish Galatians, and the word foolish, normally in the New Testament comes from the word moron, MOROS in Greek. That word is not used here. This is the word senseless, or more specifically, without perception. They have lost their spiritual perception to the truth.
He says, who has bewitched you. The word bewitched is actually brought over from the Old Testament. In the Old Testament, it is known as the "evil eye," because if someone has the evil eye, they can hypnotize you. They can bring you under their spell. So, it's called the evil eye.
It had to do with hypnotizing someone, putting a mental spell on someone. Notice that I didn't say spiritual. This is a mental spell. A believer can be brought under a mental spell. And that mental spell comes from being persuaded.
Galatians 3:3 - Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
Are ye so foolish? And again, this is the word senseless. Having begun in the Spirit, are you now made perfect, or complete, or mature by the flesh?
What a fantastic question that every believer and every church needs to wrestle with! If you began in the Spirit by faith, are you now made complete, or mature, by the works of the flesh? There isn't anything that I can do in the human. In fact, the more I do in the human when it comes to the things of Christ, the more I take away from His finished work. I can't add to it. I can only receive and believe!
Galatians 3:4 - Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.
He says, have ye suffered so many things in vain, or for nothing? He taught them that it is through suffering. In fact, he used the word THLIPSIS.
Matthew 5:18,19. Jesus was speaking about obedience to the whole Law, not to what the Pharisees taught that some Laws were less important to others. And as those under the Law, Jesus taught that the whole Law was current until "all be fulfilled" (i.e. only Jesus could keep the Law perfectly & through His death & resurrection, fulfilled the Law, removed the curse, by being made a curse on our behalf). Once that curse that the Law brought was removed by His death, we are no longer under the Law which only brought death, but now receive the blessing of Abraham, receiving God's Promises to us, not by the keeping the Law, but by obedience to the Spirit by the exercise of faith ( Galatians 3:10-14, also Romans 8:2-4).
Yes, Jesus' death fulfilled all the sacrifices that Israel had to do year-by-year, and these sacrifices looked forward to God's Perfect once-for-all Sacrifice. But only by Jesus' death could the New Covenant be ushered in, the Old had to be abolished, or else the New could not take effect (you can't have two Covenants operating simultaneously). And the Old Covenant most certainly included the Ten Commandments & every Law that was given to Israel. Those who are in Christ no longer abide by a Law that only had condemnation & death as its end, but now we can live according to the ministry of the Holy Spirit Who gives Life & Power to know & abide by all of God's Commandments.
Thank you Woe for your detailed response. If I might begin at the start of your comment. You referred to Galatians chapter 3 & Exodus 34:28. The Covenant that God made with Abraham (otherwise called the Abrahamic Covenant) had nothing to do with the Ten Commandments ( Ex 34:28 doesn't indicate that at all). The Abrahamic Covenant is found in various portions in Genesis 12:1-3; Genesis 15:18-21; Genesis 17:1-22; Genesis 22:16-18. The Ten Commandments were never given to Abraham; Abraham was commended for his faith & obedience, outside of any Law. He only received the Promise.
Galatians 3:17-19 which you quoted. Verse 17 particularly: "And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect". The comparison here is made to the promise of God to Abraham (the Covenant), that the Ten Commandments were given 430 years after God's Promises to Abraham. So, there aren't two Laws, just one given at Mt. Sinai - what was given to Abraham wasn't the Law but the inheritance by Promise. (cont'd on Page 2)
Part 8.
God chose Israel to be a light to the nations, a kingdom of priests, and to showcase his redeeming grace and righteous judgment. Isaiah 42:6-7
God chose a man (Abraham) to enter an unconditional covenant with and to perform an oath with whom he would make a father of many nations by faith.
Galatians 3:17-29.
Genesis 15:1-12
Genesis 22:15-18
"And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time,
And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:
That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;
And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
Every time Israel angered the Lord; he remembered his oath to Abraham.
Here is Deuteronomy 7:8 reads (A verse you referenced)
But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
That oath and covenant to Abraham still stands today, however look at the repetitive condition of throughout the years.
Deuteronomy 8:19-20.
Only thing here is elected is THE WAY AND MEANS through a promise to salvation by faith.
This is what Roman 9 is talking about.
See Part 9
Romans 9:4-11.
John 3:16-18 says, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God's one and only Son." Apart from the work of Jesus Christ, every human is condemned to an eternity in hell ( Revelation 20:15). But God has freely offered the gift of heaven. What determines if a person goes to heaven or hell for eternity is whether that person has been reconciled to God through Jesus Christ ( Romans 4; Galatians 3:23-29; Hebrews 11).
Going to hell is the default position of humanity. Going to heaven is the free gift of God's grace, received by faith, offered to all people ( Ephesians 2:1-10). God wants people to be reconciled with Him, so He provided the way ( John 14:6). Every person is invited to go to heaven.
Going to heaven or hell has everything to do with God's act of rescue. When God created the world, everything was very good ( Genesis 1:31). He created humanity in His image. He provided food for them but told them there was one tree from which they were not allowed to eat. They were to trust His provision, follow His commands, remain in close relationship with Him, and experience fullness of life. But they were also free to disobey Him, which would result in death ( Genesis 2:15-17; Romans 6:23).God, I know that I have gone against your ways, that I rightly deserve condemnation. I know that you are loving, merciful, gracious, and just. I believe that you have made reconciliation possible. I believe that Jesus is the only Savior, and I submit to Him as Lord. I believe He is fully God, fully human, lived a perfect life, died on the cross for my sins, and rose from the dead bodily. I believe His sacrifice is sufficient for my sins.

I realized I left out an important point.
We know "The seed of the woman" is Chris.
In scripture when identifying a man and his genealogy it's always the seed of the man.
It's a contradiction with the Hebrew usage of the term when saying "Seed of the woman.
We know he's not talking biologically because that would be Abel or Seth or another one of their unnamed children.
Identifying the genealogy of someone in scripture is always Identified through the man.
What's interesting is Adam is left out!
Christ was to be born of a woman in the lineage of Israel and his father was God.!
There is no need for a biological seed here. It wasn't a biological birth, Christ came from pre-existance origin.
This is amplified in Isaiah 7:13-14.
Elsewhere the seed is mentioned and identified in relation to Genesis 3:15 is Genesis 22:18 "And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
"And confirmed in Galatians 3:16 "Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
God bless.
Thank you, Jesus shamed the leaders of Jerusalem about traditions, Matthew 15:3 and we are told in Colossians 2:8. My understanding is when we believe in our heart that Jesus is the Son of God and the only way to salvation we are justified by God's grace, Romans 3:24 and being baptized is being obedient to God's word, being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: We then start the road to sanctification by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost, Titus 3:5.
Jesus Christ has done everything necessary for our salvation and all we do we do in is name including being baptized, Colossians 3:17. He paid the penalty that our sins deserved by His sacrificial death on the cross. His death satisfied God's justice and turned away His wrath from us. God calls us but we must answer we must believe and be obedient to Him to be chosen, Matthew 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen.
When we are baptized in the Name of Jesus we have put on Christ, Galatians 3:27. Being baptized is obedience, Ephesians 2:10 2 Thessalonians 1:8, every believer who has opportunity will be baptized in obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ. Baptism is the result of salvation, not the means to it.
Our obedience strengthens our faith, obedience shows our love for God, and our obedience to God's word is essential and it is not works. Those who are obedient are imitators of Christ and are willingly submitting to the authority, His will, and the word of God.

As to your question you have received several answers, my understanding in the Bible baptism is done only by immersion as the word means. As Jesse said sprinkling did not start until the 1300s and it was for the reason it was so inconvenient. So, this was done just because of convenience's sake, nothing Biblical about it. I agree with Giannis, and we must believe as Jesus said in Mark 16:16.
All we do is to be done in our Lord Jesus's name, Colossians 3:16-17. Many use Matthew 28:19 but we also see in the rest of Scripture that a person who is baptized in Jesus' name is someone who believes in Jesus as Savior, the Messiah, the Son of God who for us died, was buried, and was resurrected we acknowledge this by being baptized in His name, Acts 2:38 Acts 8:12 Acts 8:16 Acts 10:48 Acts 19:5 Acts 22:16 Romans 6:3 Galatians 3:27 Colossians 2:12 Ephesians 4:5.
Paul shows the importance of being baptized in the name of Jesus, Acts 19:1-6. God has placed Jesus and His name above all that is in heaven and earth, Matthew 28:18 Philippians 2:9-11. Salvation only comes in His name Acts 4:12 Romans 10:13. The name of Jesus is the source of power and authority for healing, miracles, and deliverance, Mark 16:17 Luke 10:17 Acts 4:7 Acts 4:30 Acts 16:18.
We are to give thanks in Jesus's name, Ephesians 5:20. Our faith is through Him and in His name, Acts 3:16. We must believe in Jesus, John 3:16 John 6:47 Acts 16:31 1 John 3:23 1 John 5:13. Whatever we ask for we are to ask in His name, John 14:13-14. We are to pray to the Father in His name, James 5:14. Jesus is our priest and the only mediator between God and men, 1 Timothy 2:5.

Part 2.
This section is not pointing fingers towards you are anyone in particular.
Deuteronomy 7:6-8 is a portion of scripture that has made an envious world hate the Jews and sadly some of the body of Christ has been compromised by this evil.
"For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.
The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:
But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt"
Verse 6 is what they take issue with. "For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, ABOVE ALL PEOPLE THAT ARE UPON THE FACE OF THE EARTH"
Some would like to have this said about them, so they render this to the Church.
However, be at ease the church was not in the world when this verse was given,
And the Church is never called people of the earth or earth dwellers.
However, If I'm wrong and God chooses them over the Church, he has the right to do so, it's his creation.
Deuteronomy 7:7-8 emphasizes God's elect! He didn't choose them for any particular reason. It is not the Church.
The Church was never redeemed out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
Israel is part of God's plan of salvation explained in Romans 11:11-33.
I find it amazing that the same people who say you can't be saved by the law of Moses "and rightfully so"
They acknowledge scriptures like 2 Corinthians 3:6-7 Galatians 3:19-25 when defending their own imperfections but say Israel failed because they couldn't.
God bless.
Jesus was conceived of the Holy Ghost, Matthew 1:20 of the seed of a woman/Mary, Genesis 3:15, and born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God, John 1:13. Jesus grew up the same way that we do, Luke 2:40.
He was subject to the pulls of the flesh. He was tempted and influenced by Satan, Luke 4:1-2. He had a will and human desires, Luke 22:41-42. Although Jesus was filled without measure with the power of the Holy Ghost, and gave all things into his hand, John 3:34-35 Jesus humbled Himself and was obedient unto death, Philippians 2:5-11.
To be the payment for sins of man and to be the Savior of mankind and destroy the works of the devil, Jesus had to be a human, Hebrews 2:14-18, the promise God made was to Abraham and his seed, that was Jesus the Messiah/Christ, Galatians 3:16.
Jesus the last Adam came into this world sinless as the first Adam and had to be laden with what we are as humans. The man Jesus, Romans 5:15, had to endure and overcome sin and rise above the influences of Satan to become the payment for the sins and this atonement made way for our deliverance from Satan's bondage, Romans 3:21-26.
He also was prepared to be a merciful and faithful High Priest, Hebrews 4:14-16. God sent His own Son to condemn sin in the flesh that the law could not do that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled, Romans 8:3-4.
Jesus the Son of God a human being had to deal with life as we do. He lived in the same time, space, and constraints as we do. He was born under the law, He became tired, He became hungry, He was subject to persecution, subject to pain, subject to the Roman rulers, He had to deal with all the things the same way we do, and all was the for the will of the Father, not His, Matthew 26:42.
Only in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth do we have hope, and are saved, Acts 4:12.
We are to hold fast in our faith to the end.
God bless,

Hey brother just one last thing to consider.
Daniel 9:24-27, in this prophecy, there are seventy weeks or 490 years determined unto Daniel's people and the holy city to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
Have these 6 things been fulfilled in Jesus the Messiah, and the judgment of it carried out in 70 AD? If so, all of this prophecy has been fulfilled in the past.
1 To finish the transgression. To break or violate, as a law, civil or moral; the act of transgressing. Psalms 32:1 Isaiah 53:5-11 Romans 4:14-15 Galatians 3:18-19 Hebrews 9:14-15.
2 To make an end to sins. Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. Matthew 1:21 Hebrews 10:8-11 John 1:29 1 Corinthians 15:3 1 John 3:5 Psalm 32:1 Romans 3:21-26 Romans 8:3.
3 To make reconciliation for iniquity. Reconciliation is an element of salvation that refers to the results of the atonement. Colossians 1:20-22 Isaiah 53:6 Isaiah 53:11 Romans 5:11 Ephesians 2:16 Titus 2:14 2 Corinthians 5:18-19.
4 To bring in everlasting righteousness. In conformity to the demands of the covenant and according to God's will. Isaiah 61:10-11 Romans 3:21-26 Romans 5:17-21 2 Corinthians 5:21 1 Peter 2:24.
5 To seal up the vision and prophecy. The greatest prediction, which runs like a golden thread through the whole contents of the Old Testament, is that regarding the coming and work of the Messiah, Jesus. Daniel 9:23 Matthew 11:11-15 Mark 1:14-15 John 5:36-40 John 6:27 Acts 3:18.
6 To anoint the most holy. The high priest went into the holy of holies once a year with the blood of a sacrificed bull. Jesus our high priest with His own blood anointed the most holy not made with hands once and for all, forever. Hebrews 9:6-14.
Jesus said it in John 19:28-30.
