I come to You with honesty, because You already see my heart.
You know this season of the year is scary for me, a time when memories of my husband's past health issues stir up fear, worry, and old emotions.
But today I choose to bring all of this to You.
I lay it at the Cross. Your Word says in 2 Timothy 1:7 that You have not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.
So right now, I reject fear, and I receive the power, love, and sound mind You freely offer me.
Let Your peace settle deeper in me than any anxious thought.
Your Word also says in 1 Peter 5:7 to cast all my anxiety on You because You care for me.
So Lord, I cast it: every fear, every old memory, every "what if," every tightness in my chest, every intrusive thought.
I place them in Your hands, not mine.
You care for me more than I can understand, and I release the weight of worry to You. I lift up the "fiery darts" that come : the sudden fears, the feelings, the emotional pulls, and instead I take up the shield of faith, just as You command in Ephesians 6:16.
Extinguish every dart of fear, every whisper of danger that is not from You, Lord, off of me and my entire family and our loved ones.
Fill me and my family with Your truth so fully, that fear has nowhere to land.
Lord, Your Word says in James 1:19 to be quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to become angry,
so help me in my relationships, especially with my husband, to walk with grace, patience, and peace.
Teach my heart to communicate with love, and soften any place in me that feels overly burdened, overwhelmed, or unheard.
And Father, You tell me in 1 Peter 3:7 and Ephesians 4:15 to walk in understanding and speak the truth in love.
So I ask You to strengthen our unity: spiritually, emotionally, and in communication.
Let my words be filled with gentleness, and let my heart feel safe,held, and understood.
Like Hannah in 1 Samuel 1, who poured out her soul before You, I pour out my emotions to You w/out shame

Hi dear GiGi that's absolutely true, I myself think and harvest not for abundance. But to have over the winter. And think what wealth, you actually feel very rich and satisfied. When you have contributed something to your own supply. It's a little early yet, but cranberries in the freezer work well and make troll cream and serve with waffles. Wonderful dessert from the deep forests and north. Even though the berries have been frozen, they can be used for more than just a side dish for meatballs or pork.
In my journey through the Old Testament. Then I read so much about what was evil in the eyes of the Lord and what was good in the eyes of the Lord. I am horrified by how much the Lord has had to endure from all human inventions! And of course He could not continue this old covenant. It was absolutely necessary to make a new and everlasting covenant. Amen.

I've been keeping you in constant prayer - truly.
And believe me when I say: it has also been something that's deeply blessed me, even though I'm praying for someone I haven't met in person yet.
The Bible encourages us to pray for everyone - not only for friends, family, or people we know.
It speaks about praying for all men ( 1 Timothy 2:1), for those who suffer ( Hebrews 13:3), for those who persecute us ( Matthew 5:44), and also for the whole church - even if we've never seen each person ( Ephesians 6:18).
So, even without knowing you personally, I keep praying.
There is a purpose in this.
When something changes, don't forget to share.
Knowing that helps me feel that this time of intercession is not in vain - not at all.
Dear "Ruben" Cast your sorrow on Jesus, He can bear it. Stand firm Ephesians 6:13-18 For the Lord Jesus has said in Matthew 28:19-20 that He is with us. Believe in the scripture when all else is uncertain. The Word stands firm. And think of what God did. When He created everything, He only said what He wanted. And today we also see God's work, even though we need a vision that is from the Holy Spirit. Seek Him "Ruben", Jesus understands you, He understands everything. Even in our bad days. Then Jesus is with us. He is the One who has all power in Heaven and on Earth, and will return to judge the living and the dead. Fasting and praying with a sincere heart is what He wants in situations where everything is locked and impossible for us. Read the Lord's Prayer every day, along with other scriptures you find helpful.

As a rule; there were almost no personal prayers mentioned in the New Testament. We don't have record of most of Jesus' prayers and discussions with God but in terms of the Apostles the closest we get is Paul asking for boldness ( Ephesians 6:19-20).
This is intriguing indeed considering how bold Paul already was as to a prayer He would ask others to give on his behalf. Paul's prayers were ever for the church who He prayed for day and night; in the case of 2 Timothy 1:3 I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night (was said by Paul to Timothy).

This beautiful prayer certainly shows Paul's wishes for the Ephesian church; which makes the situation in Revelation 2:1-7 even more pitiful. They had forgotten their first love.
And of course as I am sure I pointed out before we have prayers for Peter's escape from prison ( Acts 12:5-17) and Paul's miraculous escape also Acts 16:25-34 when prayer and praise of Paul and Silas was followed by the gates opening. This would lead at least the jailor and his family to faith in the Lord.
Yes Keygbo, biologically speaking, the word "Son only has one definition (a) male descendant". But 'son' doesn't always refer to biological descendency. Take for examples: Genesis 6:2, Job 1:6, Romans 8:14, "sons of God". In just these three examples, these "sons" have no biological connection to God. The first to either angels or the descendants of Seth; the second to angels/heavenly beings; and the third to those who are born again, led of God's Spirit & adopted into God's family. All these are God's sons, or sons of God.
And then we can take the idioms, "son of the road, or son of the soil". I'm sure you've heard of these not oft used expressions. Most would believe that if those phrases were used for a particular person, then it is understood that neither the road nor the soil gave birth to sons. Likewise, Revelation 1:5 speaks of Jesus being "the prince of the kings of the earth". I suspect that you wouldn't now believe that Jesus, as a prince, had his descendency in an earthly king (or, multiple kings). So yes, biologically, the son of an earthly king would be called a prince, but metaphorically, this is not so as there is no descendency to a human king - just a title.
Lucifer, or 'shining one' was given to the king of Babylon who lived & ruled by that satanic spirit. Sure, Satan was never called Lucifer, but he, as did the king, were described with the same phrase: "the shining one, son of the morning". So whether Satan is referred to as "the prince of the power of the air" ( Ephesians 2:2) or the "prince of darkness" (taken loosely from Ephesians 6:12), these both describe the same devil, one who has power over his demons that move about freely in the world and in the air, as well as to the devil & his demons who brings darkness to people's minds & spirits, keeping them in captivity to sin, yet making them believe that they are in light, joy & hope ( 2 Corinthians 11:14). And he is called a prince, meaning that he is the ruler, yet having no king above him.
V1. And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint.
From God's perspective, prayer is a daily responsibility. ( Matthew 6:11 give us today our daily bread). That is a pray to make daily for bread. ( Ephesians 6:18 - Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;). God expect us to pray not only on daily basis but He also gives details on what and how to pray for on those occasions;
1) pray in the spirit. "In the spirit" is the first thing He mentioned on prayer. He starts with the how to pray and where to pray from. According to 1 Cor14:14 (For if I pray in tongues, my spirit prays, but my mind is unfruitful.), praying in the spirit is praying in tongues. Meaning, we ought to pray first in and from the spirit. Paul emphasized this in verse. 15 (What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.) The praying in or with understanding is the also but in and with the spirit is the first and the main way of praying. 18 (I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all). Paul prayed in tongue more than he did with the understanding. So the first thing about prayer is to be done a) daily (constantly), b) in the spirit (in tongues of the spirit), and 3) for a long time (more with tongues than with understanding). Paul prayed more in tongues than all of them in terms of volume and value of prayer. Praying in tongues increases weight, value and volume to your prayer because the spirit of God who knows what to pray for as we ought to, is the one praying through us. Praying in tongues helps you to pray better, the God's way, and for long. Tongues helped him to pray for long than he would normally do with understanding.
2)... and not to faint. With out prayer man faints, becomes weak, intimidated, dreadful, ......
I just finished praying for you, so Jesus Christ is present (For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them Matthew 18:20). I want to know that it's not your nephew's father causing problems, it's the unclean spirit in him and/or attached to him that's causing problems ( Ephesians 6:12). I do know that since you seek God for help, God Almighty will not only hear your prayer request, but will also answer.
Also you and your nephew and the rest of your family pray for your nephew's father for God to forgive him, as you and your family forgive him (Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. Luke 23:34). Unforgiveness will hinder God/Christ to help in time of need.
Keep the faith and endure to the end...Christ's return is almost here.

Hi "Kerian", once many years ago I was going to sleep over a place that had a terrible smell of diesel. Of all things :). I was tired, and the resting place was so dirty that I had to close my eyes and not see when I pulled the blanket halfway over me. Instead of getting annoyed by this sleeping place and the smell. I started praising the Lord that I even got a place to stretch out. Now this is not the same problem as you have. But quite similar nonetheless. Because usually we are the ones who have something that hinders us from receiving blessings. I only mean peace and joy with my words to you. And maybe you will get other advice from here too. So be patient. So when we praise the Lord and pray then we have some words and strengthen ourselves on Ephesians 6:10-19
Tip: put these on every day, before you go to work. And remember that we should be loving and kind not to repay evil with evil. We ask for Your will in the matter Jesus, and we thank You in advance for answer to prayer.

I am so grateful for your response. It has evoked a deeper consideration of my prayer request. I am a true Christian, and love the Lord with all my heart and soul. To nudge me toward greater maturity does not require bombastic shouting, nor fear of the Lord. Just nurture my willingness with the truth and I will move in that direction. Fiery preaching affects my relationship with my heavenly Father because I feel He is often angry with me and yelling at me through the preacher every Sunday morning.
I'm reminded of the verse in Ephesians 6:4 that says, "Fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord." I can be easily nurtured into righteousness because of the deep love I have for my heavenly Father.
I taught Sunday School in this church for a long time, and have often been bombastically corrected from the pulpit. Instead of having a face to face with me, they wanted to make sure everyone was aware of their interpretation.
The purpose of sermons is to help us gain maturity and grow in the Lord, not to exasperate and provoke us to anger every Sunday morning. Ephesians 5:1 says to be imitators of God as dear children. That's my motivation to be a dear child. I follow about seven other preachers closely online because I love the word, and I'm not ashamed of being corrected when it is done in the right way.
I have already resigned my membership and sent the pastor and his wife a very lengthy email concerning my personal experiences going back some years with examples. I've attended once since then and we all hugged tightly and I felt their love.

Today as I speak there are 19 Tornado warnings and nearly as many severe thunderstorm warnings. Worse; this is supposed to be an unprecedented 5 day event. We have had in the last week or so a 7.0 earthquake in Tonga and the 7.7 in Myanmar.
The wars continue along with rumors of new conflicts that our country is likely to be involved with.
No doubt Christian persecution is still going on; we have seen in recent months the continuing problems in N.E. Nigeria and last month in Syria with martyrdom large scale.
Along with this there is the constant spiritual battle with the world; flesh and the Devil. We need to "buffet ourselves" ( 1 Cor. 9:27) to continue to stay in the fight and endure until the end. I have always said we can learn some things from our enemy: here is a quick review.
He never rests day or night; that is implied by 1 Peter 5:8 Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Interesting the verses that talk about never sleeping day or night actually refer to God such as in Psalm 121:4 and Isaiah 40:28 but Proverbs 4:16 talks about how evil men cannot sleep without doing evil.
He along with all the other demons know who Christ is and His authority ( James 2:19). Satan obviously is aware of this through His heavenly councils with angels and God as seen in Job 1 and 2. He knows that Christ has the power to turn stones into bread; as well as calling angels to His help as Satan quoted Psalm 91:11:12.
He has His own heirarchy or Kingdom (see Luke 11:18; Ephesians 6:12).
His goal has been consistent since His fall and the beginning of human history ( John 8:44).
I am sure we could find other passages in this vein. Ultimately God causes all good and evil ( Isaiah 45:7). All things are according to His purposes; just as Christ was exalted after His suffering so we shall be and rewarded if we persevere.
There are some that are doing that who are not doing it as boasters, but most people do. In our society people strive for things. When young people get cars, they try and pick one that fits their image, and that's why they roll the window down and crank up the stereo so you can hear it three miles away. So, boasters are people who use material things to boast.
Proud, blasphemers, and the word blasphemy, first of all when it's towards God, it is anything that is against God. But when it's towards people, it is the same word that is used for slander.
Sixthly, disobedient to parents. The word disobedience means a refusal to be persuaded. Now we know in Ephesians 6:1, it says children obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. The word obey is HUPAKOUO which means put your hearing under.
That's what obedience is. Children are to put their hearing under their parents as the parents are leading and guiding them, especially in the things of the Lord. Well, in the last days children will be disobedient. They will refuse to be persuaded by the parents.
Seventhly, unthankful. In the Greek text, this is the word grace, CHARIS, with the alpha-privative in front of it. Thankfulness is actually a response to God's grace. That's what it means. Thankfulness does not originate with me thanking God. It's my response to the grace of God upon my life.
Unholy, that is, profaning the holy things of God.
Because Adam sinned, we all inherit the body of sin. We sin because we are born sinners. As a saved person, we should be reading and praying for clean spiritual health.
Romans 5:12

It says put on the whole armor of God, which is a command. And this is Aorist Tense which means do it one time. That's very important!
Put on the whole armor of God. The purpose: that you may be able to what? Stand against the wiles of the devil. The word wiles is the word METHODEA which means methods or schemes. And notice that all of this is to cause us to stand. Not to fight but to stand. Why? Because our position is in Christ at the right hand of the throne of God in the spirit realm!
What do we have to fight Satan for?
Ephesians 6:13 - Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Another command, wherefore take unto you (Aorist Tense), the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand, and that's the word resist, in the evil day, and having done all, that is after everything has been worked out, to stand. In other words, once the dust settles, you're still standing. Stand, not fight!
Well, this is all I have to share in Ephesians from a Biblical Greek perspective. I will begin with Philippians soon, Lord willing!
Ephesians 5:31 - For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
The word joined is the word glue, glued to the wife. Once you become one, leave mother and father, period! And they two shall be one flesh. That's a quote from Genesis 2:24.
Ephesians 6:10 - Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
The word finally means summary. The armor of God represents the whole book of Ephesians in summary form. Paul is under house arrest. He is chained to a soldier. Some people think that Paul got this description from the soldier that he is chained to. This is something that is a Jewish concept that might have been inspired by the soldier that was there, but the items as elements of the armor is not anything that is new.
So, he says, finally, my brethren, and here's the first command: be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Be empowered. And this is the only verb in this whole section that is a Present Tense that means be continually empowered in the Lord, literally, in the grip of his strength.
He pictures the believer as being in God's grip. And God's grip is so strong that we are to draw off of the strength of that grip. But instead, we try to wiggle and squirm. And sometimes we are struggling, where most of the time we're struggling against God. Be still and know that I'm God he says.

I come to You with honesty, because You already see my heart.
You know this season of the year is scary for me, a time when memories of my husband's past health issues stir up fear, worry, and old emotions.
But today I choose to bring all of this to You.
I lay it at the Cross. Your Word says in 2 Timothy 1:7 that You have not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.
So right now, I reject fear, and I receive the power, love, and sound mind You freely offer me.
Let Your peace settle deeper in me than any anxious thought.
Your Word also says in 1 Peter 5:7 to cast all my anxiety on You because You care for me.
So Lord, I cast it: every fear, every old memory, every "what if," every tightness in my chest, every intrusive thought.

The Bible encourages us to pray for everyone - not only for friends, family, or people we know.

This is intriguing indeed considering how bold Paul already was as to a prayer He would ask others to give on his behalf. Paul's prayers were ever for the church who He prayed for day and night; in the case of 2 Timothy 1:3 I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night (was said by Paul to Timothy).
Ephesians 3:14-21 14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

This beautiful prayer certainly shows Paul's wishes for the Ephesian church; which makes the situation in Revelation 2:1-7 even more pitiful. They had forgotten their first love.
And of course as I am sure I pointed out before we have prayers for Peter's escape from prison ( Acts 12:5-17) and Paul's miraculous escape also Acts 16:25-34 when prayer and praise of Paul and Silas was followed by the gates opening. This would lead at least the jailor and his family to faith in the Lord.
And then we can take the idioms, "son of the road, or son of the soil". I'm sure you've heard of these not oft used expressions. Most would believe that if those phrases were used for a particular person, then it is understood that neither the road nor the soil gave birth to sons. Likewise, Revelation 1:5 speaks of Jesus being "the prince of the kings of the earth". I suspect that you wouldn't now believe that Jesus, as a prince, had his descendency in an earthly king (or, multiple kings). So yes, biologically, the son of an earthly king would be called a prince, but metaphorically, this is not so as there is no descendency to a human king - just a title.
Lucifer, or 'shining one' was given to the king of Babylon who lived & ruled by that satanic spirit. Sure, Satan was never called Lucifer, but he, as did the king, were described with the same phrase: "the shining one, son of the morning". So whether Satan is referred to as "the prince of the power of the air" ( Ephesians 2:2) or the "prince of darkness" (taken loosely from Ephesians 6:12), these both describe the same devil, one who has power over his demons that move about freely in the world and in the air, as well as to the devil & his demons who brings darkness to people's minds & spirits, keeping them in captivity to sin, yet making them believe that they are in light, joy & hope ( 2 Corinthians 11:14). And he is called a prince, meaning that he is the ruler, yet having no king above him.
V1. And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint.
From God's perspective, prayer is a daily responsibility. ( Matthew 6:11 give us today our daily bread). That is a pray to make daily for bread. ( Ephesians 6:18 - Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;). God expect us to pray not only on daily basis but He also gives details on what and how to pray for on those occasions;
1) pray in the spirit. "In the spirit" is the first thing He mentioned on prayer. He starts with the how to pray and where to pray from. According to 1 Cor14:14 (For if I pray in tongues, my spirit prays, but my mind is unfruitful.), praying in the spirit is praying in tongues. Meaning, we ought to pray first in and from the spirit. Paul emphasized this in verse. 15 (What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.) The praying in or with understanding is the also but in and with the spirit is the first and the main way of praying. 18 (I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all). Paul prayed in tongue more than he did with the understanding. So the first thing about prayer is to be done a) daily (constantly), b) in the spirit (in tongues of the spirit), and 3) for a long time (more with tongues than with understanding). Paul prayed more in tongues than all of them in terms of volume and value of prayer. Praying in tongues increases weight, value and volume to your prayer because the spirit of God who knows what to pray for as we ought to, is the one praying through us. Praying in tongues helps you to pray better, the God's way, and for long. Tongues helped him to pray for long than he would normally do with understanding.
2)... and not to faint. With out prayer man faints, becomes weak, intimidated, dreadful, ......
I just finished praying for you, so Jesus Christ is present (For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them Matthew 18:20). I want to know that it's not your nephew's father causing problems, it's the unclean spirit in him and/or attached to him that's causing problems ( Ephesians 6:12). I do know that since you seek God for help, God Almighty will not only hear your prayer request, but will also answer.
Also you and your nephew and the rest of your family pray for your nephew's father for God to forgive him, as you and your family forgive him (Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. Luke 23:34). Unforgiveness will hinder God/Christ to help in time of need.
Keep the faith and endure to the end...Christ's return is almost here.

I'm reminded of the verse in Ephesians 6:4 that says, "Fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord." I can be easily nurtured into righteousness because of the deep love I have for my heavenly Father.
I taught Sunday School in this church for a long time, and have often been bombastically corrected from the pulpit. Instead of having a face to face with me, they wanted to make sure everyone was aware of their interpretation.
The purpose of sermons is to help us gain maturity and grow in the Lord, not to exasperate and provoke us to anger every Sunday morning. Ephesians 5:1 says to be imitators of God as dear children. That's my motivation to be a dear child. I follow about seven other preachers closely online because I love the word, and I'm not ashamed of being corrected when it is done in the right way.
I have already resigned my membership and sent the pastor and his wife a very lengthy email concerning my personal experiences going back some years with examples. I've attended once since then and we all hugged tightly and I felt their love.

Today as I speak there are 19 Tornado warnings and nearly as many severe thunderstorm warnings. Worse; this is supposed to be an unprecedented 5 day event. We have had in the last week or so a 7.0 earthquake in Tonga and the 7.7 in Myanmar.
The wars continue along with rumors of new conflicts that our country is likely to be involved with.
No doubt Christian persecution is still going on; we have seen in recent months the continuing problems in N.E. Nigeria and last month in Syria with martyrdom large scale.
Along with this there is the constant spiritual battle with the world; flesh and the Devil. We need to "buffet ourselves" ( 1 Cor. 9:27) to continue to stay in the fight and endure until the end. I have always said we can learn some things from our enemy: here is a quick review.
He never rests day or night; that is implied by 1 Peter 5:8 Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Interesting the verses that talk about never sleeping day or night actually refer to God such as in Psalm 121:4 and Isaiah 40:28 but Proverbs 4:16 talks about how evil men cannot sleep without doing evil.
He along with all the other demons know who Christ is and His authority ( James 2:19). Satan obviously is aware of this through His heavenly councils with angels and God as seen in Job 1 and 2. He knows that Christ has the power to turn stones into bread; as well as calling angels to His help as Satan quoted Psalm 91:11:12.
He has His own heirarchy or Kingdom (see Luke 11:18; Ephesians 6:12).
His goal has been consistent since His fall and the beginning of human history ( John 8:44).
I am sure we could find other passages in this vein. Ultimately God causes all good and evil ( Isaiah 45:7). All things are according to His purposes; just as Christ was exalted after His suffering so we shall be and rewarded if we persevere.
(see Hebrews 11:6).
Fight the good fight.
2 Timothy 3:2 continued
There are some that are doing that who are not doing it as boasters, but most people do. In our society people strive for things. When young people get cars, they try and pick one that fits their image, and that's why they roll the window down and crank up the stereo so you can hear it three miles away. So, boasters are people who use material things to boast.
Proud, blasphemers, and the word blasphemy, first of all when it's towards God, it is anything that is against God. But when it's towards people, it is the same word that is used for slander.
Sixthly, disobedient to parents. The word disobedience means a refusal to be persuaded. Now we know in Ephesians 6:1, it says children obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. The word obey is HUPAKOUO which means put your hearing under.
That's what obedience is. Children are to put their hearing under their parents as the parents are leading and guiding them, especially in the things of the Lord. Well, in the last days children will be disobedient. They will refuse to be persuaded by the parents.
Seventhly, unthankful. In the Greek text, this is the word grace, CHARIS, with the alpha-privative in front of it. Thankfulness is actually a response to God's grace. That's what it means. Thankfulness does not originate with me thanking God. It's my response to the grace of God upon my life.
Unholy, that is, profaning the holy things of God.
Verse 3 gives us the ninth characteristic:
Because Adam sinned, we all inherit the body of sin. We sin because we are born sinners. As a saved person, we should be reading and praying for clean spiritual health.

Ephesians 6:11 - Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
It says put on the whole armor of God, which is a command. And this is Aorist Tense which means do it one time. That's very important!
Put on the whole armor of God. The purpose: that you may be able to what? Stand against the wiles of the devil. The word wiles is the word METHODEA which means methods or schemes. And notice that all of this is to cause us to stand. Not to fight but to stand. Why? Because our position is in Christ at the right hand of the throne of God in the spirit realm!
What do we have to fight Satan for?
Ephesians 6:13 - Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Another command, wherefore take unto you (Aorist Tense), the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand, and that's the word resist, in the evil day, and having done all, that is after everything has been worked out, to stand. In other words, once the dust settles, you're still standing. Stand, not fight!

Ephesians 5:31 - For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
The word joined is the word glue, glued to the wife. Once you become one, leave mother and father, period! And they two shall be one flesh. That's a quote from Genesis 2:24.
Ephesians 6:10 - Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
The word finally means summary. The armor of God represents the whole book of Ephesians in summary form. Paul is under house arrest. He is chained to a soldier. Some people think that Paul got this description from the soldier that he is chained to. This is something that is a Jewish concept that might have been inspired by the soldier that was there, but the items as elements of the armor is not anything that is new.
So, he says, finally, my brethren, and here's the first command: be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Be empowered. And this is the only verb in this whole section that is a Present Tense that means be continually empowered in the Lord, literally, in the grip of his strength.
He pictures the believer as being in God's grip. And God's grip is so strong that we are to draw off of the strength of that grip. But instead, we try to wiggle and squirm. And sometimes we are struggling, where most of the time we're struggling against God. Be still and know that I'm God he says.
The word of God is Spirit and is alive. No man can understand God unless they understand the word in Spirit.

So the second you hear or smell or taste or feel; speak out loud; THE LORD YESHUA REBUKES you with fire. Then immediately begin to read the bible verses that you wrote. Do this in your mind. Keep it up for a good 30 minutes. I promise you the neighbor is going to run out of his house. But you don't stop.
You need weaponry. Remind yourself what the full armor is [ Ephesians 6:10-18]
