Verse 5 is so concise. No matter who man decides to follow, it is settled here - THERE IS "ONE LORD." If the bible refers to our LORD and SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST, then ONLY Jesus Christ is Lord! "ONE FAITH" means there is only ONE true doctrine. The bible says that they continued steadfastly in The APOSTLES’ DOCTRINE, which is recorded in Acts 2:38-39. That passage also shows us the "ONE BAPTISM" accepted as TRUE Baptism-in THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST for the Remission of Sins. JESUS is the ONLY NAME UNDER HEAVEN GIVEN UNTO MAN Whereby we must be saved! False religions are intent to name there gods publicly. Our GOD has ONE NAME--JESUS.

As Christians, we must walk in unity, in all humbleness and submissiveness, showing one another love, as Jesus Christ did when he walked this earth showing us Our Heavenly Father's way.

Ephesians 4:32 Be ye kind one to another, tender hearted, and forgiving even as God for Christ sake has forgiven you. When we do this, we can overcome any conflict that we are having with anyone. Anger and malice must be put away. Speaking the truth in love to everyone, and we can be at peace. If you are struggling with forgiveness, go to the cross, and there you will see how much it cost Jesus to forgive us. We all owed a debt that we could not pay, and God commended His love toward us, in that while we were sinners Christ died for us. This is the same love that God commands us to have for one another.

I thank God for Ephesians. I have experienced the most devastating thing in my life, and I am very angry, only because I don't understand why all of this had to happen to me. The only defense that I have is to be mean and speak harsh words to the person that hurts me so bad. But one day God sent me to the book of Ephesians. I had never read this book in life and could not understand what the urgency that I had to look at this book. Verse 27 is where God started dealing with me. All I could do is cry because it seemed as God was dealing with my about my mouth and the evil things that I had said on because of my hurt. But what I have learned is that God is the only one who heals such pain, no need to fight God said, vengeance is his and God does not want filthy communications coming out of our mouth. We must not let the sun go down on our anger.

I just love you Jesus, Jesus is so awesome, look; Jesus is telling us here that he is above all, with all and in all. Is it not wonderful to know that Jesus is for us with us and in us he had made us champions over all circumstances? I am proud of my father please anyone who has not yet made Jesus the lord of his life is missing all these. So go for him, he is waiting for you. GOD BLESS YOU.

In Christ's church is the apostle the head. That was and is. Apostle Paul had not "seen Christ's resurrection and Christ chose him", but came a while after the resurrection. Thus, if I am looking for Christ's church, I need to firstly see if they have an apostle as their head.

I think that we should hold up to he word. We know that he word is in us as it is in him.

Well as we can see the Father and the Son are one, and Jesus is God according to 2 Corinthians 5:19, God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself. The psalmist says in Psalms 110:1 my Lord said to my Lord. Ephesians 4:32, also says Just as God for Christ’s sake. JESUS IS GOD....

Grace is given to ALL, JESUS died for ALL of us! and all the water in the world will NOT save a single soul, neither will following the Law. Jesus NAILED the law to HIS cross. Colossians 2:14. We are saved by GRACE through FAITH plus NOTHING! ONLY the CHRIST Jesus has ALREADY saved us. We need to be more careful with our Lord and Savior's word and beware not to lead anyone astray.

This chapter is such a blessing to read because it is Paul\'s teachings to the church in the \"grace age,\" which is us. \"For by grace are ye saved through faith (faith of Jesus Christ, not our faith) and that not ourselves (not baptism), it is the gift of God.\" and Paul said in II Timothy 2:15 \"Study to shew thyself approved unto RIGHTLY DIVIDING the word of truth.\" Baptism for salvation was to the Nation of Isreal after the assention and the Nation of Isreal rejected salvation through Jesus Christ. Read Acts Chapter 2 \"ye men of Isreal,\" is all the way through that chapter. The King James Bible is divided 7 times (number of completion). Know your divisions.

Ephesians 4:4-5 states "There is but ONE body, ONE spirit, ONE Lord, ONE faith and ONE baptism." This is true. In Matthew 16:18 Christ said; "And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." Christ said I will build MY CHURCH. Not everyone’s church but Christ’s. I am proud to be a Christian and part of the Church of Christ. I am forever grateful for Jesus Christ. God bless everyone and if you are not part of the Lords church I pray that you obey the gospel as soon as possible. Because just as the days of Noah Christ is tenderly calling for you to obey the gospel and not end up as the many who perished during the days of Noah because they leaned to there own understanding. There is no understanding greater than that which the Bible gives us. Hear, Believe, Repent, Confess and be Baptized for the remission of your sins. God has a place for those who obey & live faithful unto death. v22: At times this can be the hardest thing to do, but all things a possible through Christ! We being made in the image of the Father posses the power of freewill, therefore "we" must make the choice to do away with the foolishness and allow the holy spirit to renew our minds, so that our thoughts and steps be ordered by Him!

There's only ONE saving NAME !! And that is Jesus!

God was manifest in the flesh !!

Their is only ONE saving name and when Jesus told the disciples to teach ALL nations baptizing them in the NAME of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: -20- Teaching them to observe ALL things whatsoever I have commanded you.

In Luke 24:47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

Acts 2:14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:
And now into verse 38-39

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Let us look again at what Jesus says.

Verse 18: And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

19: Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the NAME of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Jesus says, "ALL POWER is given unto ME in heaven and in earth. In verse 19 He says "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the NAME" . *Not names* ..

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a CHILD is born, unto us a SON is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The MIGHTY GOD, The EVERLASTING FATHER, The Prince of Peace.

Jesus says in Revelation 1:8

8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the ALMIGHTY.

Isaiah 44:6 Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the FIRST, and I am the LAST; AND BESIDE ME THERE IS NO GOD.

Jesus says in Revelation 1:11

1:11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the FIRST and the LAST:

1 Timothy 3:16
3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: GOD WAS MANIFEST IN THE FLESH, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Jesus says in Luke 24:47 And that REPENTANCE and REMISSION OF SINS should be preached in HIS NAME AMONG ALL NATIONS, beginning at Jerusalem.

48 And ye are witnesses of these things.

49 And, behold, I SEND THE PROMISE OF MY FATHER UPON YOU: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.

As we go into the book of Acts we find almost immediately the promise being fulfilled. And let me clear this scripture up.

Ephesians 4:5 ONE Lord, ONE faith, ONE baptism,

6 ONE God and Father of ALL,

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 The same was in the beginning with God.

John 1:14 And the Word was made FLESH, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

15 John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is PREFERRED BEFORE ME: for HE WAS BEFORE ME.

Now back to Acts 1:5

Jesus says in Vs. 5 : For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost NOT MANY DAYS HENCE.

Acts 2:1 1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Read the rest of chapter 2 and how men mocked and said " these men are full of new whine" but Peter stood up with the eleven.

Acts 2:13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:

After you read through to vs 37 says the men were pricked in there hearts and asked what shall they do?!

Acts 2:37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

Peter tells them what Jesus told him to preach unto ALL nations.

I think that Ephesians 4:7 is a great verse because it is telling you that GOd gives you grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

That's right Jeff! Revelation 1:8 says - I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the *Almighty*. Jesus spake this.

Whoever you are ~ 123 ~ let me give you some knowledge. John 3:16 says For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him *SHOULD* not perish, but have everlasting life.

It does NOT say that you SHALL be saved! I bought an ozarka water the other day and it said on the back of it, " this item SHOULD not be sold individually." well i bought it by its self. So, maybe it wasn't meant to be sold individually but it was. Same goes with the scripture. Yeah if you believe that Jesus is god and you believe this,

Ephesians 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, -6- One God and Father of all,

If you think there is three gods you are sorely mistaken. There's not two nor five. Only ONE !

as our preacher taught us, not to grieve our Holy Spirit. i never stop doing my best to be more closer to God. grieving my Holy Spirit, means i am getting farther to God. so i attend the services every thurs and sundays two services and soul winning, breakfast prayer, hr prayer and pray everyday..

2 Corinthians 4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

If you DO NO ACCEPT THIS TRUTH THEN BY THE WORD OF GOD YOU ARE LOST !!!!

BELIEVE THIS WITH YOUR WHOLE HEART AND DO NOT HOLD TO THIS WORLD ANYMORE AND GET TO AN APOSTOLIC CHURCH !! GET YOU A MAN OF GOD IN YOUR LIFE! Romans 10:14 !! John 1:1 Tells us that "The Word was god" in John 1:14 it says "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us ! " then it talks about how we beheld his "glory" .. let me add this .. In Isaiah (which is the Old Testament) 42:8 , It says " i am the Lord: that is my name: and my 'glory' will i not give to another ~ and in 1 Corinthians 2:8 is says " which none of the princes of this world knew: for had that known it, they would not have crucified the 'Lord of glory'. They would not have crucified Jesus if they knew that he was god wrapped in flesh! Let me add 1 Timothy 3:16 .. The "locusts like unto horses" vs 7 . were airplanes and the "hair like the hair of women" vs 8 is the jet streams left from the passing of jet planes. I love ephesian4:17 that is one of my favorite scriptures in the bible...This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind..... This scripture is very deep its basically saying let ur new life be a testimony... That's what we have to do as christians.... every day our life will be a witness that we wont have to tell ppl we're christians our life will be a witness.... i've been saved nw going on two yrs. it's being hard but i thank god for calling me to be one of his chossen!! i wouldnt trade it for the world.... be encouraged in know their is no DARKNESS in God we should walk in the light.... let our light shine to the world....be blessed:)

Verses 4 & 5 dispute the validity of all denominations. There is but ONE church; established at the time of Christ's death. There is ONE docturine, and that is found throughout the New Testement. Grace is given, but not to those who do not follow ALL of God's commands, including the immersion in water for the remission of sins.

if you stole, do not steal again. work hard for your receiving. and give to those who need. if you remain idle, you will be tempted to steal again. so occupy yourself with work.

What i get out of it is the more you seek the wisdom of God, the more knowledge he allow's you to recieve.And this fact is for anyone who think's that the world is billion's of year's old,it's not!If you read the word of God(Bible)He (GOD) say's that the world is about six thousand year's old.Were coming upon the seventh,according to the word of God.Another thing is,Jesus is God( Isaiah 9:6), Deuteronomy 6:4, John 10:30, 1 Timothy 3:16, Ephesians 4:4-6,ect. it states in the Bible about 2,800 times that there is only ONE God!Jesus is the saviour and there is only one( Isaiah 43:11),and again in Luke 1:47...God my saviour..It seem's pretty straight forward to me,"My sheep hear my voice",are you hearing the word of God? Don't let man's interpetation miss lead you"sheep in wolves clothing",this once saved, alway's saved stuff.Even Paul said"I die daily",so what do you think he's talking about?Do youself a favor,and repent,be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sin's( Acts 2:38,39)that's the"KEYS" to heaven,Jesus gave them to Peter and taght him how to start the"church".Any other way is a thief and a robber,only the straight and the narrow way lead's to salvation.All the baptizum's in the Bible( Acts 8,10,12,18,22...)are in the NAME of The Lord Jesus Christ,not in the title's father,son,and the Holy Ghost.Stop and pray...in the name of Jesus to lead you down the right path!Has anyone ever prayed father,son,and Holy Spirit for a healing and recieved one?There is NO power in the title's!All you do,in word and or deed, do in the NAME of Jesus Christ,that's what God's word instruct's us to do!Do you speak in toung's?Jesus' mother did,and so did the first 120 that gladly recieved the Holy Spirit,in the upper room where Jesus told them to wait for the promise of the Father,Who showed up?Jesus did!!!Not the first part of a three-som,or the second,or the third,it was ALL JESUS and even Thomas said after he doughted,"My Lord and My God!There wasn't 2 Spirit's standing there!Just Jesus,and if you don't believe this salvation message, then you will die in your sin's,according to the "WORD of GOD",you have 2 ear's to hear with,listen...God is calling you.............................

My thoughts on Ephesians 4:11 encompasses the fact that God will call on anyone he chooses to unite His children and prepare them for the specific work for which they are call to do. However, the choosing of apostles is not done in this time because according to the scrptures and biblical scholars an apostle is a man that has seen Christ's resurrection and who he chose himself. Pastors watch over God's people who have been entrusted in the pastor's care. A pastor who is led by God can choose leaders such as teachers and evangelist from his congreation all to help to unify the people of God. One major factor which I believe is that God will equip the leaders to do that particular ministry. Also, there are some who will rhink that they have been called to do lead in these ministries, but often fail because they accept the title without realizing that it is God and God alone who can equip them for the ministry of evangelism, of teacher in the Word of God. I strongly believe that these ministries should not require from the congregation monies or financial gain.These actions can most assure caused discord among the saints not unity.

This scripture is just splendid! No real Chrstian will run away from the scripture.

"With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;"
( Ephesians 4:2-3) Love is the bond that keeps us as we come unto perfect unity in Jesus Christ. The outworking of that love is peace.
