The hebrew commentary says the hidden treasure of the sand is white gl*** and perhaps gl*** ****ing. Before there was Venice gl***, there was the Judean gl***, which they spread to the world during their exile. Roman sources reference gl*** discovery to a location in Israel. Hebrew sources mention disappearance of white gl*** from markets after destruction of the 2nd temple. Jews break a gl*** on weddings to commemorate the destruction of the temple.

Jacob told Simeon and Levi that instruments of cruilty would be in their hand, and thus Moses is aware of this and does not pronouce a blessing on Simeon. Yet Israel will be blessed, and study Genesis 49 and you will see this. Jehova God shall have his everlasting arms underneath them to carry them. We must trust the LORD with all of our heart, and lean not to our understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy path. May the Lord bless you.

Given what Moses in Deuteronomy 33:8 calls "thy Thummim and thy Urim" is called in Joshua 9:14, "the mouth of the Lord", can help us to read Exodus 15-16, "15And thou shalt speak unto him, and put words in his mouth: and I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what ye shall do.

16And he shall be thy spokesman unto the people: and he shall be, even he shall be to thee instead of a mouth, and thou shalt be to him instead of God." The way of the Seer that is established with the burning bush anointing is comfirmed in Exodus 7:1," 1And the LORD said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet." Note: "Maimonides writes that the Urim and Thumim, although present in the Second Holy Temple, did not perform their intended function because in order for one to receive a message through the Urim and Tumim, one must posses the "holy spirit", Ruach HaKodesh[3], which no one possessed during that time period. I think that this verse is explained by Deuteronomy 29:5 and Nehemiah 9:21. Shoes were for their daily walk. They would have all that they needed to succeed and prosper in life, and they would have enough strength to handle all that they would encounter in the days of their life.
