We need the Holy Spirit every moment of our lives. For only the Holy Spirit can cleansed us and guide us into his heavenly manna the word of God. Thanks to Jesus for providing us with his manna. If Acts 2 is doctrinally to you today and not for Jews then please do follow these verses too. Acts 2:44-45 And all that believed were together, and had all things common And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. Will you please do that? That 's what the Bible instructs you to do. The Church age was not revealed at this time Eph 3 and the Pauline epistles hadn 't been written yet. This Acts 2 is a Jewish faith Rom 1:16-17 . Yes they were added to the church but Acts is transitional. They are not added that way now. There are four different ways the Holy Spirit is received in Acts alone. But Paul our Apostle Rom 11:13 says its by Grace through faith ALONE. Once the kingdom is rejected with the stoning of Stephen Paul the apostle to the gentiles is saved and the transition from Jew to Gentile begins and by Acts 15 everyone agrees by faith alone. Relief is being sent to the Jews who obeyed Acts 2:44-45. See Acts 11:27-30, Rom 15:26, 1 Cor 16:1-3 .

Verse 7, the Lord was telling Peter that the spiritual laws had changed. The example of unclean animals that were now acceptable to eat is symbolic. Peters spiritual identity was changed to accept that ALL men have the opportunity to be saved from sin. The understanding and compassion we give to others becomes our own. God 's grace, goodness and forgiveness is for all mankind not just for Israel. " There is one body and one Spirit...One God and Father of us all, who is above all and through all and in all. " - Eph. 4.4-6

Acts 10:10, acts 11:5, acts 22:18 Peter fell into a TRANCE and had spiritual vision. Numbers 4:4 16 Balaam falling in a TRANCE even with his eyes open, seeing the Almighty. It is amazing to see the way that the Holy Spirit began to direct the church with visions and definite signs to verify that they were genuine. He still does this for those who have received the baptism of the Holy spirit even today.

You have to get the Kingdoms right. The Kingdom of heaven can suffer violence and the violent can take it by force see Matt 11:12. The Kingdom of God is entered by the new birth upon believing on Jesus Christ by the gospel revealed to Paul and it is found laid out in 1 Cor 15:1-4. Paul was BORN before his water baptism see 1 Cor 15:8. And Ananias called him BROTHER Saul in Acts 9:17 before water baptism in verse 18. There are no Christians in Acts 2. That term doesn 't even show up until Acts 11:26. Those saved before the gospel of the Grace of God were added to the Church because the N.T. had not been written and the mystery was not yet revealed to the apostle Paul. You can 't be saved by Acts 2:38 today. That 's the way to hell. You are saved by obeying the gospel found in 1 Cor 15:1-4. Rom 16:26 says its the OBEDIENCE OF FAITH. Rom 10:16 But they have not all OBEYED the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath BELIEVED our report?

a careful and prayerful study of Acts 11 19 thru Acts 14 28 in the AV Bible will show that the disciples in Acts 11 26 were Jewish believers Hellenistic Jews not Gentiles in Acts 11 20 the word Grecian means Hellenistic Jew in the KJV take special notice of Acts 14 27

My reading of Acts ch. 11 was a great blessing. I am reading through the NT in 31 days and using this website for all my reading of the scripture. What a wonderful beginning the church had. I am so grateful that the Holy Spirit is still here living the life of Christ through every surrendered believer. Wanting to fill the life of every believer that still habitually lives a self-dependent life. Praise Him for his goodness, patience and mercy in my lives and all who believe.

From the beginning the Christ intended to include all people bringing them to His Father's kingdom-all who would listen. In Acts chapters 10 and 11 we see how the faithful are rewarded-'your prayers are answered' said the angel.
Simon-Peter's vision is more the completion of His grand plan to continue spreading His message through the Disciples to all people-all who would listen.
Today we are the receiptants and bare witness to the success of Peter's, Barnabas's, and Saul's all the Disciples great journey. Now we are all disciples answer the prayers of others and bring them The Word. You share the hope that is the Christ's love for all people-all who will listen.

If baptism isn't important to be saved then why does Christ say it is so often in the scriptures? Because it is very important.

To study the differences between the King James Version 1611 (authorized version) and the other versions is something you should do with diligence ( Hebrews 11:6; 2 Timothy 2:15) and I believe you will conclude that the King James Version 1611 (authorized version) is the only inspired word of God as I have. As for the vulgate text it is from the Alexandria manuscripts (Egypt) Latin based that the catholic church uses for their version translated by origen and others that is proven to be corrupt by most honest and true bible translators. The King James Version 1611 (authorized version) is translated from the manuscripts of Antioch ( Acts 11:26) (Textus Receptus) where you will find that most honest and true translators conclude to be correct. As for the original text there are no original texts and when someone can produce them I might start altering my thinking on this subject. God is never to concern about the originals, see what god does with originals and how he preserves his word ( Exodus 32:19, Exodus 34:1; Psalms 12:6,7; Matthew 24:35; Peter 1:19) more original writings ( Jeremiah 30:1, Jeremiah 36:27, 28, 32). God has preserved his word in the King James Version 1611 (authorized version). When a person comes to conclusion that all versions are of God they have not studied the scriptures with diligence. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways ( James 1:8). There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end there of is the ways of death ( Proverbs 14:12; 2 Timothy 2:15).

1. The difference between corn and wheat in verse 1 is the manuscripts in which the translation was made from the Greek; New testament from Greek to English, and Old Testament from Hebrew to English. Manuscripts of the Textus Receptus from Antioch ( Acts 11:26) or Manuscripts from Alexandria (Egypt, origin, hort, etc.). One can do a study on Egypt from the bible. Corn is the correct translation from my studies and conviction.

i believe with out a doubt this is the Spirit of God that did signify and guide them into all the truth( john 16:13)some in the old testament like zechariah 4:6 is no doubt that it is the Holy Spirit...which in those times the person of the Holy Spirit is silent.

By first birth came I by water; by being born again, came I by spirit.

We must bring to mind that Jesus never say's the word "Christians".Jesus also does give warning to Simon that Satan hath a desire to sift him through like wheat .Jesus also states that it is by the word's that he speaks they you must abide in and they shall Judge you. The gift Jesus offers is from God and it is the "living waters". We are by command told not be following sounds that you know not there origin ( good or evil ). We must be born of water and spirit ( John -3- )
