  • Jg on Acts 2:38 - 12 years ago
Baptism is necessary. First, repent. Second, get Baptized. Third, receive the Holy Ghost. Just as Peter taught. The problem today the majority of Christians have when reading the Bible is they forget even their Ministers Preachers forget that the Bible must be read with the original Hebrew translation. The Bible was originally written in Hebrew, then translated to Greek. Then to Latin, then English and other languages. It is important to understand the Hebrew language and meaning of Hebrew words. It is also important to understand when the Apostles lived. Faith in Jesus, repent, be Baptized, receive the Holy Ghost and by Grace you will be saved because you believe and did what Jesus asked. One has to do what Jesus asks.
  • Jeffrey on Acts 2 - 12 years ago
To answer Abrhams comment on verse 38, the only book where we see anyone actually being baptized in the name of the LORD is in the book of Acts. An interesting point to confirm this is Paul 's questioning of the believers in Ephesus. He first was able to ascertain that they didn 't have the Holy Ghost even though they believed, but he also pinpointed the problem with his follow up question "how were you baptized? " They were baptized wrong and he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the LORD. My question to you is what is the name of the child born and the son given who is the mighty God and the Everlasting Father?
  • Grant on Matthew 5:5 - 12 years ago
Matt 5 5 agrees with Isa 45 18. But I thought we all go to heaven? The Trinitarians told me so.!
  • Jeff on Acts 2 - 12 years ago
...furthermore to not save a tadpole, when Paul came to Ephesus he met believers who had not received the Holy Spirit in Acts 19. His first question to them when they replied in the negative was what? How were you baptised? Two questions....if you get the Holy Ghost just by believing, why did Paul ask them if they had it or what was his indication that they didn 't? Second question is obvious, why did he ask them how they were baptised if it is not important to salvation? Perhaps you should search the scriptures a little more diligently.
  • Shar stone on Isaiah 1:3 - 12 years ago
The ox knoweth his owner and the donkey his master 's crib, but Israel do not know, my people do not consider means that every one knows where their origins are but not the true Israelites. They do not know that they are the Israelites the chosen people of god. They are a rebellious people. There are other precepts that go with this stanza also such as when Jesus said he was only sent to the lost sheep of house of Israel. In Romans 11 vs 8 kjv god have given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see and ears that they should not hear unto this day. Look at the making of a fake false nation in 1948 after the second world war by a league of nations Rev 2 9 and psl 83.
  • John on Genesis 1:2 - 12 years ago
Where it is mentioned in the book of Jeremiah, that the Earth was void and without form has meaning that is less than favorable to mankind. But even in such conditions the Spirit of the Lord hovered over the face of the deep, which of course is our salvation. Unless one is born again by the Spirit of God we cannot inherit the kingdom of God. The Earth is not our final destination. In fact, the present will once again be destroyed even as the Lord declared a New Earth and New Heavens which of course is the blessed state of those that are beloved of God. Amen.
  • Michelle on Leviticus 19:28 - 12 years ago
"Allen 's comment on 2013 10 14 10 15 15 It Is plain and simple. Don 't do it. It 's what the Lord says. End of story. " Something to think about Allen, who was the Lord talking to and when was this...Now should all that apply to us now? How about the verse preceding that one? Lev 19 27 Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard. I 'm not saying God does not have applicable rules for NT Christians...He does, but so many times we pick and chose which of the rules we think we should abide by taking them out of context and becoming legalistic!

Barbara our FATHER has no trust in any one of us . but he lets us know him by is word but this is not the only way .he uses his spirt in us which gives us life .when he speeks it is a very solf voice and its allways true .please dont reject this or say it is true intell you know the truth .our FATHER did not tell his only begotten when the month or date or hour he would die . this is reveiled at least 2 times in our bible .where it says not even his son knows .look it up in the newtestment
  • Roger Griffith on Revelation 6 - 12 years ago
The pale horse, I do agree is what I believe the Anti Christ, coming and taking peace from the world. Which I do think is already already taking place. All four horsemen are riding now on this earth as we see all things coming to pass. There is death by sword, there is famine now, prices of all things keep rising, no jobs, brothers killing one another, spirits of the devil getting more stronger attacking people, sin running rapidly, all things are pointing to the sixth seal now.

  • Lily on Genesis 1 - 12 years ago
I believe in the bible and believe God sent his only son to die on the cross for our sins and that he will forgive you of those sins if you talk to him about it. In genesis it talks about him creating the earth in only 6 days and I believe that he did because he is capable of many things and he knows everything that 's going on in your life and will always be there for you no matter what is going on
  • Ken goss on 2 Thessalonians 2:7 - 12 years ago
1John 3 4 whosoever committed sin transgesseth also the law for sin is the transgrssion of the law. the message of grace is all most powerful. the mainstream church pushes greasey grace. this is the law has no cardinal place for modern believers. that the cross had done away with the purity of the Lord 's Word. Paul is misunderstood as Peter writes and no way endorses holiness. the mystery of iniquity grows as we judge the word instead of it judging us. All scripture is divinely given and are divine instruction for rightous living.
  • Scott thorson on Romans 8:28 - 12 years ago
i didnt fully understan this concept till much later in life. My mother was murdered when i was a kid. I spent much of my life angry bitter and empty. I asked Jesus into my heart 2.5 years ago and last year as i looked thru some of my mothers things i found a letter addressed to my uncles. It read thank you so much for allowing your sisters kidneys to be used. one went to a 21 year old male with a loving family and the other went to a 40 year old female who was on dialysis for seven years. i lost my mom but two lives were saved and there is no telling just how many people those two mite have shared the Gospel of Jesus with.

Through out the years I have been with my Lord this scripture has been a stronghold I depend on God 's word I cannot go on without Him No not a day I have just recently been through a first tornado experience God was with me my man friend. We are alive and well I can see where God took care of everything. Out of this I will be stronger in My Lord and I hope to have a newer outlook on the things of God. Out of this also I will be getting a new home front room f bedroom furniture and some new clothes God is so good to me . I get to stay with my man friend he has a 3 story house Plenty of room. While I am there we will walk in the way of the Lordto keep on perservering to do the will of God. God Bless !!!!!

De Lord Jesus has paralised de devil and his power of death, meaning death has no dominion over every child of Christ.
  • Andrew Ian Murphy on Revelation 6:8 - 12 years ago
I think that the horse and the rider may be seperate personages...but either way, the people refered to here were granted the authority by God to destroy a quarter of the earth trough war and it 's resulting factors... I also think that God hides the identities of this individual s until the matter has past...but of important note for all students of religion, including those who have searched for the great figures of revelations and with succss found some, I think it 's pretty clear the rider is not the Anti Christ, but a sanctioned being belonging to the army of the Lord.
