"Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared " Hebrews 5:7 "But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness. For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come." 1 Timothy 4:7-8 "Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds: That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak." Colossians 4:2-4 "And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God. " Luke 1:16

I read Galatians 4:26, it says nothing about Sarah being the mother of Jerusalem.
God says He is Jerusalem and I believe him!
  • Bobby on Revelation 19 - 9 years ago
The teachings of the churches continue to be confusing and unconvincing the more it is read through. I constantly ask myself how Jesus can be God the Creator of everything!! How can God die? How could God have died for our sins
  • Lu2677 on Matthew 20 - 9 years ago
The KJV added the word "again", It is not wrong to read God's word literally.

  • Sabbath keeper and Wife on Revelation 17 - 9 years ago
Protestant comes from the word protest . There is no longer any protesting. The original protestant churches started by Martin Luther (guess the name) celebrates its 500 year anniversary in 2017 AND has already signed papers admitting guilt ,and will be welcomed back into the Mother Church next year. I guess Luther
  • Sabbath keeper and Wife on Revelation 9 - 9 years ago
There's not a single verse in all the scripture that says the 3 1/2 year period gets shortened to 5 mos. It's another lie of "futurism" prophecy started by Rome. Not 1. The 3 1/2 yrs and 1260 days and 42 mos. are all the same dark ages ending in 1798 when France squashed the papacy. They were known as anti-christ by all til 1900s
  • Sabbath keeper and Wife on Revelation 8 - 9 years ago
It's symbolic with a very certain meaning. In Isaiah, I think 7 it talks about a live coal out of the alter being put to his mouth purging his iniquity. When coals are thrown to earth, it's a revealing of truth from Holy Spirit that causes many to repent and give God his due glory. It may be Is. 6. Almost all Rev. comes from elsewhere(to get us to search scriptures) lots from Dan. FIRE is spirit

  • Michael C. on Malachi 3 - 9 years ago
"For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed." Amen! Like turning the other cheek, and going the extra mile, and not rendering evil for evil, nor resisting its attacks without cause against us; but like our Father in heaven; being good because we are good for His sake who has put His name on us, and calls us his children. If God can control Himself, so can we! Amen

  • Michael C. on Psalms 30 - 9 years ago
It is a most critical and dangerous time, if one finds himself often stumbling and sinning, and always crying for forgiveness, and to be ever once and for all delivered from that weakness of character. Jesus said, If any one come to me, I will in no wise cast him out; but how long can someone go on in that condition, and not question his conversion? Neither do I condemn you; go, and sin no more.
