What languages did you speak in? On the day of Pentecost, the believers that were filled with the Holy Spirit spoke in actual languages. Loving people into Christ is miles more important than speaking in an unknown language, especially if there is no interpreter. 1 Corinthians 14 explains. I say let us all study to show ourselves approved on the subject of speaking different languages.
  • John on Psalms 5:12 - 10 years ago
In God 's mercy and Grace He covers our every moment of life when we receive HIS righteousness. Is there anything greater than his favour? How much confidence we gain knowing this! It spurrs us on toward greater devotion, love and ever increasing faith
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Romans 1 - 10 years ago
Hello Rebecca Lynne I thank God for his Word and thank you for those kind words. You are absolutely correct. We are not to support them in their sin. Does this mean that we treat them badly? The answer is no. We still have to follow peace with all men and holiness without which no man shall see the Lord. They are still human and as long as there is breath in the body they have a chance to change. However, we do have to separate church and state when it comes to upholding our beliefs. If I were asked to marry a gay couple,I would not marry them, because it is against my belief. However, if they are in position of authority would I respect them? Yes, because they are in position of authority. In regard to Romans 1 32, If I can say it like this, how can you teach, preach, or lead if you are committing sin yourself? How can you tell someone that the act of homosexuality is against God and you are doing it yourself? This is considered as a hypocrite. You should not find pleasure in them or anyone committing sin.
  • Jun Aniversario on 1 Timothy 2 - 10 years ago
I am confused now with the church i presently am with because there are women being ordained as priests. When I read this verse 12, I wonder it it was really understood by our church earlier leaders why they ordained women to become priests? I tried to read all those books in Michael griffit 's comment but did not find there any authorization given to women to preach. Even to the mention of Aquilla and Precilla who actually are husband and wife. They are servants to the church and not to preach. Some may have misunderstand them as church leaders but it is because a church was not existing in their place that time so they used their house as the church as they had asked St. Paul to teach them more about the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ. May I find more understanding in this subject with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, as I read more verses in the bible, amen.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Genesis 3 - 10 years ago
Part 5 of 5 Think about this, God destroyed all the human life on this planet except 8 souls, Noah and his family. However, since then there has been countless of giants born into this world, for example Goliath. Was he begotten of angels? In our world today we have living very tall and strong men. Were they begotten by angels? In the end, I will believe in what the Bible states that angles do not marry and that fallen angels are held in hell in dark chains.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Genesis 3 - 10 years ago
Part 1 of 5 Hello Word The scripture in Genesis is not talking about fallen angels. Why would God call fallen angels his sons? Does he call Satan his son? He is a fallen angel. If I can say it like this, it was not until after Seth had Enoch that man began to call upon the name of the LORD. Let s think for a moment that these are religious men during that time that the scripture, Genesis 6 2, is talking about men who called on the name of the Lord. Somewhere along the way they lost their way. They lusted after the flesh. They had strayed from the path of God later on during this course in time. In reality these were men that at one time were at a high spiritual level and fell from grace.
  • Jose on Hosea 11:1 - 10 years ago
I have read Mathew 2 15 and Hosea 11 it seems that Mathew leaves out the first part of the verse.Hosea is not referring to Jesus, but to the children of Israel. So why leave out the first part of the verse. To make it look like a prophesy about Jesus?.
  • William on Romans 8 - 10 years ago
Nothing shall separate us from the Love of Christ, sometimes you may have a little doubt in certain circumstances in your life, and in the life of family and close friends,ad to why ? Certain things happen or take place, however I have learned if you Love each other as Christ did and Trust in him in everything you do and believe in him ,he will get you through anything,

  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on John 1 - 10 years ago
Part 3 of 4 The body is made up of body, soul, and spirit. When you read Verse 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men You have to ask yourself who was made in the likeness of men? Jesus Christ who was God manifested in the flesh, John 1 14. If I can say it like this, the flesh understanding his role humbly surrendered to the deity inside to go all the way to the cross, Philippians 2 8. See this is why the flesh screamed out to the deity why have thou forsaken me. The flesh did not want to be hurt. The flesh did not want to suffer. The deity inside knew that this had to be done. Part 4 of 4 Matthew 26 41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation the spirit indeed
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Genesis 1 - 10 years ago
Hello John Serem Are you stating that the same heaven that is spoken of here in Genesis is the same that is spoken of in Revelation? The heaven that is spoken of in Genesis will be destroyed by God with fire. Then a new heaven and a new Earth will come, Revelation 21 1 "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away and there was no more sea. "
  • Katie on Daniel 12 - 10 years ago
Susan. I would say the he in verse 12 is all of those that don 't fall for the wicked ways of satan. You do know that satan returns first right? Satan returns before Christ does. Christ doesn 't return in the end and then leave and then come back. Blessed is he that waits on the true Messiah. These days are the tribulation period before the Millennium. Christ doesn 't return until the very beginning of the Millennium.
  • Faye Lusia on Zechariah 4 - 10 years ago
I were a Catholic, now I 'm attending to Christian church but not Dedicated yet as Christian. I just want to share here that since I 'm attending to Christian church I often dream about the bible verses that sometimes I think it is really for me. I think it is how God answers me or warn me. He speaks with me through my dreams which I do not experience before. People, last night I dreamed of this There is a big book, I saw many words written on it with big letters, but only these words I saw clearly "GOD GAVE IT YOURS. GOD MADE IT THAT WAY ". My Father said it has something to do with the spirit of prophecy. He advise me to read Zacharias Chapter 4. I just wanted to know if it really relates with my dream, so can someone expalains? Apologies for bothering you guys. I pray Him to show me what He wants to tell me that I cannot see.
  • Brenda Romine on Leviticus 27 - 10 years ago
Leviticus 27 34 Again, these commandments were given to Moses on Mt. Sinai by the Lord. People think they are supposed to obey the ten commandments, but if they believe that why don 't they follow all the other commandments, statutes, and judgments given to Moses on Mt. Sinai?
  • Insight 777 on Judges 18:18 - 10 years ago
I think the ephod is a laptop computer carried in a linen pocket and the teraphim is the internet. The stones of the ephod are the lighted keyboard. It is hinged, it is girdled when it sits in a mans lap and it is a breastplate because it sits in front of the mans chest when open. The threads of color and gold is the technology that creates the hard drive. GOD KNOWS THE ENDING FROM THE BEGINNING. Angels have superior technology than ancient man. Do you think that angels have technology inferior to what you are using right now? Artists have incorrectly portrayed angels as men with white bird like wings and an ephod as a type of apron that priests wear. These are in error. These false images mislead people even today. Angels do not have bird wings and an ephod is a laptop computer. The HISTORY OF ISRAEL HAS HAS BEEN CREATED TO SHOW MAN WHAT HAPPENS IN THE END OF DAYS. God wants mankind to realize the Bible is truth and more truth is revealed towards the end of days because men in the past could not understand the technology of today.
  • Tabitha Holt on Job 38:12 - 10 years ago
If Job had "commanded the morning " then what is the need for the conversation in Job 1 1???
  • Joseph G. Caulker on Isaiah 1:19 - 10 years ago
In Isaiah 1 16 18, God gave some strong commands orders that needed to be obeyed. Wash you Make you clean Put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes Cease to do evils Learn to do well seek judgement relieve the oppressed Judge the fatherless plead for the widow Come now and let us reason together These commands orders are strong, aren 't they? God is not begging anyone to obey these orders He is saying you must obey them. Follow the orders exactly as God has given them in His Word. It is a matter of choice for you. The choice is yours to make. In verse 19 of the same chapter He said if ye are willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land. In verse 20 He also said that if you refuse and rebel, you will be destroyed. Where do you stand, my friend? Jesus said in John 14 15, "If ye love me, keep my commandment. " If you love Jesus, you will obey His word. On the contrary, if you are not obeying His word, then it is clear that you do not love Him. Where do you stand, my friend? Time is running out. The day is coming closer too closer time is moving on. Jesus is coming soon.

  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Revelation 14 - 10 years ago
Hello Rcmckinnon One more comment. You have to be sent by God in order to perform in those offices. You have to have followed Acts 2 38 in order to fulfill the call. How can a person preach except he be sent? Romans 10 15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
  • Mark on John 1 - 10 years ago
to worship him him in spirit and in truth, Does that mean to worship him in the Holy Ghost?
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Genesis 10 - 10 years ago
Hello Gyenyame Flavious Your comment is noted. It is very nice to know that Black people are mentioned in the Bible. Solomon was also a Black man whom God loved also. 2 Samuel 12 24 "And David comforted Bathsheba his wife, and went in unto her, and lay with her and she bare a son, and he called his name Solomon and the LORD loved him ". According to some scholars Solomon mother, Bathsheba, was black. This being the case then when you read the lineage of Jesus Christ you will find this Black man, Solomon mentioned. Matthew 1 6 And Jesse begat David the king and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias . So if Black people were gotten by Satan then why would Jesus make them part of his lineage. This is something to think about isn t it? Knowing that black people were spoken of in the Bible is good, however knowing this does not change the much deep rooted prejudice in our country and around the world. However, if we can get people to get saved, truly saved then prejudice will become a thing of the past with them, because they will be striving to live saved and love everybody, help everybody, and strive for equality for everybody. People must follow Acts 2 38. Once they get truly saved then God can mold them into the right frame of mind, heart, and soul.

Maybe Grace is the wife Jesus is returning for? When paradise is being restored?
  • James on Acts 19 - 10 years ago
Psalm 1 3 And he shall be LIKE A TREE. Isa 61 3 that they might be called TREES of righteousness, Mark 8 24 I see MEN AS TREES walking. Matt 3 10 the axe is laid unto the root of the TREES therefore every TREE which bringeth not forth fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. The Corinthians were the most carnal church and had a problem with their tongue. 1 Cor 12 30 do all speak with tongues? NO! Babies speak of their gifts all the time and spiritually they are christmastree babies. Check Jeremiah 10 3thru5. The christmastree looks good outwardly with its GIFTS but is full of dead mens bones. "
  • Semple on Genesis 18 - 10 years ago
You must understand that Sodom and Gomorrah were not destroyed because they were "decadent " if that were true he would have pulled another "Noah 's Flood " only with fire . The destruction of "S G " was to protect the "Progeny of the Covenant ". Read Genesis Chapter 18 God didn 't want the Sodom Gomorrah men sodomizing little Isaac. Sexual intercourse is as much a spiritual event as it is a physical event. Remember Jacob 's daughter Dinah? She was NOT raped !!!!! She was defiled !!!!! Check out Webster 's Dictionary to discover the difference. Where did Jesus the Christ stand on the "Covenant Progeny " issue? ...aka Israel ? Read Matthew 15 24 Do not confuse the "Covenant People " aka Israel with the United Nations ' creation back in 1948. Anyone can deny Jesus, and then convert to Judaism, and then become a citizen of that country. But it has nothing to do with the Covenant between Abraham Isaac Jacob Israel and their descendants. That country is nothing more than a "slight of hand " to distract Bible Believing Christians from the true meaning of "God 's Word ".
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Acts 2 - 10 years ago
Hello Stacy I believe that taking a bath is very different from being baptized. I am very sure you know this as well? I am not understanding you point. However, baptism is essential to the salvation plan during this Grace Age that we live in. It has to be the correct baptism and done correctly, and done by someone who has been baptized themselves the correct way and have been filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance.
  • Stanley on Matthew 6 - 10 years ago
This chapter is about having Faith and Trust in the Lord instead of trying to do things with the arm of the flesh. Why did the hypocrites want to pray in public so every one could hear them? or sound a trumpet when giving donations so everyone could see them? or disfigure their faces when fasting so people can see them? It 's so they can glorify themselves and people will be able to see how righteous and good they are. They 're trusting in themselves and they 're own righteousness. Whereas if they do these things in private they 're trusting in the Lord for the reward and blessing.
  • Insight 777 on Jonah 1 - 10 years ago
I think the story of Jonah is a parable relating to WW3. The word Jonah means Dove. A dove is a symbol of Peace so when you read the word Jonah use the word peace because that is what is being talked about. Peace was to cry to Nineveh that their wickedness would be destroyed, that war would happen. Peace fled and war erupted. The sea is the symbol of the nations of the world in tempest, conflict. The whale or Great Fish represents the nations that cause WW3. When peace is in the belly of the whale for 3 days that represents the place where all is digested to supply the needs of the nations involved. The WW3 peace treaty will take 3 days to draw up and be agreed upon. Then Peace will be vomited onto land meaning yes, there will be Peace terms but the result will make everyone sick. No one will want the Peace terms. Peace would rather not exist at all than have to exist in those agreed upon terms. Nineveh will always be split into two factions never agreeing and the question to Peace is should they all die?
  • Muhumuza Asaph on Matthew 20 - 10 years ago
General comment or observation 1. In the Old Testament I read and find the word "LORD " while in the New Testament I find the word "Lord " often used, why difference if we refer to the same God? 2. Why not use His, He or HIS or HE whenever refering to God rather than use of mere he or he as we do while refering to ordinary man? 3. Why refer to name satan with "Satan or SATAN yet he is known as lucifer or evil small god? KJV is my favorite! GBU 4. Why not refer to angels
  • Jacob on Acts 2 - 10 years ago
Part 2. This is clear from what follows Acts 7. In Acts 8, an individual from Africa is saved before baptism . In Acts 9, an individual from Asia is saved before baptism . In Acts 10, an individual from Europe is saved before baptism . Why didn 't these individual conversions occur before Acts 7? Because the first seven chapter of Acts deal with Israel 1 6 8 2 36 3 12 4 8 10 5 31 6 7 14 7 1 60 . The question of INDIVIDUAL salvation is asked and answered in Acts 16 30 31 ". . . Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. " Those who fail to make this distinction are guilty of violating II Timothy 2 15 where we are told to RIGHTLY DIVIDE the word of truth.
  • Jacob on Acts 2 - 10 years ago
Every person in Acts 2 is a Mosaic law observing Old Testament Jew. In fact, they are all gathered together to observe a JEWISH FEAST called Pentecost verse 1 . A fair reading of the whole chapter especially verses 4, 14, and 36 will clearly reveal that no Gentiles non Jews are present. Since this involves Jews, it involves a NATION verse 36!! , not individuals. No one asked, "What must I do to be saved? " The question asked concerned the NATION of Israel "Men and brethren, what shall we do? " verse 37 Not, "What shall I do, " but rather, "What shall WE do? " Acts 2 presents a NATION of people who come to realize that they have murdered their blessed Messiah and they 're asking what THEY must do. It 's a question concerning NATIONAL salvation. Isaiah 66 8 says, ". . . shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children. " The "nation " is Israel! Romans 11 26 says, "And so all Israel shall be saved as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob. " Acts 2 38 is dealing with NATIONAL salvation. The Messianic Kingdom is still available to the Jews until Acts 7 60 when they kill Stephen , so national salvation remains an issue until then.
