This psalms I believe is a reflection of ones self when compared with the awesomeness of Almighty God. How excellent is thy name? When I look around and acknowledge what you can do who am I that you saved me? And your name alone resounds everything. God is truly amazing.

The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men? Ephesians 4:5 One Lord, one faith, One Baptism meaning One way to be baptized in water. In Matthew 3:11-17 is where John baptized Jesus in water as a demonstration for us to follow if you notice Jesus told John for thus it becometh us to fulfill all righteousness and this was done with Water. Acts 8:38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the Water, both Philip and the eunuch and he baptized him. 1Peter 3:21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, by the resurrection of Jesus Christ: faith without works is dead James 2:14-17 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Not by faith only James 2:24 the Bible does say we shall by faith but it says the Just not the Unjust can live by faith because they are still lost until they obey then they can live by faith .

Hello Jacob read James 2:14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? not alone, Vs.18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. And yes the Bible does state that we shall live by faith but notice in Romans 1: 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The JUST shall live by faith. The word JUST means the people of God and in Proverbs 11:7 When a wicked man dieth, his expectation shall perish: and the hope of unjust men perisheth. UNJUST means people who do not walk with Jesus 2Peter 2:9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished: The Law was written for our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ and yes we are saved by grace after receiving the Holy Ghost. God Bless!

  • John on Revelation 10 - 10 years ago
Pardon my ignorance, I 've been trying to read this book for a while and only slowly getting a feel for it, but could the angel in verse 1 be see as being a vision that could be likened to the interpretation of the statue in Nebuchadnezzar 's dream in Daniel 2? It seems to me as though the head could represent the covenant made with Noah in Genesis 9 and the feet be the day of the Lord in 2 Peter 3.

Trinitarian Alert: Here, Jesus, firmly rejects the worship from his fellow servent. Why? Well, Jesus plainly intructs his students of scripture, as he did through out his earthly ministry, to worship God! From the mouth of Jesus himself, this is clear evidence that Jesus is not God.

Hello everyone to know the truth of God word, Jesus gave the keys to Peter in Matthew 16:18-19 and on the day of Pentecost Peter used those keys when he was asked a question What must we do ? In Acts 2:36-47 read these scriptures and with a sincere heart get to a private place to pray and ask God if this Holy Ghost is real today ? Repent for all of yours sins first then ask him if it 's real to allow you to be filled with his spirit which is the Holy Ghost. I promise you will not regret it, whats wrong with trying it for yourself or how can you go wrong talking to the one upon the throne ? Do it for your own soul. Stay in prayer asking for God presence and don 't be afraid. God Bless everyone!
  • Gary Lee Myers on Jonah 4:11 - 10 years ago
Jonah 4 vs 11 means this. God 's Prophets were often selfish and self seeking. I 'm amazed at how God used a man who hated the Ninevehites, to warn them of destruction. in fact that i why Jonah headed for Tarshish. He knew God 's compassion was greater in this case than his wrath. We must remember this if God supplies a gourd to comfort us, it may also contain a worm of agitation. Imagine being upset because God Almighty soared 120,000 souls, plus cattle. Praise God the King of Nineveh humbled himself and was not like Pharaoh in Egypt. This is why in America we need to pick our leaders wisely. Arrogant leaders often bring calamity on their people. Aren 't you glad that God Almighty is full of compassion? Are we better than he Ninehvites? Thank you Lord Jesus for sparing me!

For those of us that cannot fully understand, please, could someone put this into plain modern day speak? It 's kinda funny from my point of view I 'm a potter and around our crowd there 's an understanding that you won 't control the clay until you become one with it. Fighting it only frustrates you and destroys the piece you are attempting to make. You need to work with the forces to achieve compliance from your medium clay, it 's funny like that.

  • Bro John on Numbers 12 - 10 years ago
its interesting to me you cite Numbers 12:1 as a verse that teaches against interracial marriage, where Miriam and Aaron speak against Moses for marrying a Cushite black woman . But in the very same chapter we see Miriam is stricken with leprosy by God for being critical of Moses and his marriage? Not sure that 's a great verse to make your case.
