BLESSING OTHERS SHOULD NOT JUST BE IN WORDS... My son 's prayer was answered last night as I dozed off to sleep on the couch. Power had just been turned off in our area. My son had asked for a bike early this year and I promised that I would only do that by December as I had a loan that needed to be paid off by then. Propped on my couch, I dozed off and was asleep. Suddenly, a voice woke me from my sleep and said, "bless your son. " I woke up, checked where my son was sleeping and he wasn 't there: went to his bedroom only to find that he was fast asleep. Early this morning I was relishing the idea of what sort of blessing I would give to my boy - perhaps just lay a hand on him and say a few words... Well I was wrong. when I enquired from his cousins, I was told that my son diarised December as the month he was to receive the bike from you and that he is always talking about it. There I had it! He sees me put monies in the offering basket, pay for bills and other things and clearly, he couldn 't stop but wonder if there shouldn 't be surplus enough to get him a bike! I haven 't yet bought it, but my spirit has agreed that I need to do it and pronto! Recently, the pastor at a fellowship I attend has been asking my son to hold the offering basket and pray for the offering - I don 't know if it is by divine appointment, but that is going to cost me a bike! King James Version of 1 John 3:17. But whoso hath this world 's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? 1 John 3:18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue but in deed and in truth.

Bob do you know that they who ran Germany in 1930 's and 1940 's liked Wagner 's play an Arthurian fable and taught reincarnation Himmler said he was the reincarnation of the 12th century King Heinrick ? The Beast of Revelation 13:18 will say he is the reincarnation of King Arthur-Avatar King Arthur. A Hitler Youth will cause everyone to take the mark of the beast. Hitler Youths were taught to respect Arthurian fables. 2 Timothy 4:4 says there will be people who turn away from the truth of the Holy Bible and will instead follow fables. Arthur and Superman are among those fables. The False Prophet will make people worship the super avatar King Arthur. Do not take his mark or as Revelation 14 warns all who worship the beast will be forever tormented by fire and brimstone. Jesus said their worm will not die! Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life Not Avatar King Arthur.

  • Ray on 1 John 1:4 - 10 years ago
It depends where you are looking for your Joy? God tells us to be angry and sin not. Anger is part of the grieving process as long as you don 't get stuck there. Ultimately our Joy should come from God...The writer of 1 John is telling us he wrote this epistle to tell us how to get that Joy verse 4...I 'm reminded of Nehemiah 8:10 The Joy of the Lord is our strength...We need to read all 5 of the epistles of John to find out how to obtain and KEEP our joy.
  • Donna on Revelation 21:4 - 10 years ago
Where in the Bible does it say we 're going to heaven when we die? Do bad people go to hell? If so, why when they executed James Dahmer, why did they say he was in heaven?

  • Mark Aubart on Matthew 5:17 - 10 years ago
As has been written, Christ came to offer salvation through grace, but the salvation from sin is an offer. People can take the offer and become part of the Church of Christ, which by its nature will obey God and his commandments. Or refuse the offer and follow man aka satan, lucifer, the world . I believe the 10 Commandments were for Jews Gentiles alike, the other laws Torah were specifically for the Jews, and pertained to the time before Christ B.C. . The 4th Commandment specifically, regarding the Sabbath, predates the 10-Commandments and was never abolished and never changed by God. Lucifer man religion changed it in order to demonstrate how inept and evil man is and to fool mankind when they read: Genesis 2:2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. Mark 2:27 And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath: Mark 2:28 Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath. Now people will ask without thinking: "But which day is the 7th day? " But God did not allow man to change the days of the week, Sunday is the first day of the week on every calendar, in every language, in every country in the world. Those that wish to believe otherwise want to be deceived, and in fact are preferring to follow the world and not Christ, not God.
  • Me on John 14:6 - 10 years ago
Did Jesus say only? If he is with us does it mean only earth? No. Show me. God is everywhere. Where you find life. You find God. And he has given to you his son
  • Me on John 14:6 - 10 years ago

  • Bozki on John 18 - 10 years ago
36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. 37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice......Praise the Lord Jesus Christ.....The Lord of lords and the King of kings.....God Bless...
  • Darryl Brown on John 14:13 - 10 years ago

A woman with all of her creativity, love, ability to empower her household and position of honor like no other. Makes me wonder am I doing all I can for Jesus? Am I his messenger daily? In words and in my actions?
  • Cbaux on 2 John 1:7 - 10 years ago
I think this is silly, when you put the word deceiver up, my first thought Jacob-deceiver so your saying Jacob was an anti-Christ? Anyone can pick words and make them say what you want them to just by going from one language to another. So if your going to use the word in the NT you should say so.
  • NOEL-REV on Revelation 17 - 10 years ago
So Cherry, your belief is that the Catholic Church and the Vatican are not caught up in any paganism. Then what do you mean it 's either Jerusalem or pagan Rome? I would like to understand this. Thank you.
  • NOEL-REV on Revelation 21 - 10 years ago
We are not under the Mosaic Law since man took the Messiah 's life, which had to be, but as the Messiah put it, in his own words: MATT 22:36-40-36. Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37. Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38. This is the first and great commandment. 39. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. So you see we are still bound to the Laws of God, the same Laws given to Moses at Sinai, the difference is, we keep the Law out of the Love we have in Christ. That is if you understand verse 40. I personally believe we are in the very last days, where false teachers with false doctrines are every where. This is why we need to stick to the scriptures, myself I keep to the original KJV, all the rest are corrupted versions. Maybe ok for reference, but always double check using the KJV. REV 21-5-12-15,

How did the Egyptians know about Hebrews when Jacob had only 12 sons? They had an interpreter for Joseph, and culturally in was not lawful for an Egyptian to eat with a Hebrew. How could this be, if they really were not a major people but a large Catholic family at this point in time?
  • Ray Mendoza on 2 Kings 2:23 - 10 years ago
Notice how the passage lacks fluidity with the verses before and after? Seems to be thrown in there for no apparent reason as it has nothing to do with the context of passages surrounding it. And why is it that a curse so simply verbalized then immediately bringing about the consequence of said curse and yet when persecuted by the royal court and Baals prophets these men of God fled in hiding Elijah . Why not just curse them?
  • Mr. Staten on Genesis 4 - 10 years ago
I always wonder where Cain wife came from. So it was brother and sister that had kids. Isn 't that forbidden. Also why do we not live the age of Adam?

I believe that women should wear women 's clothing and that Men should wear men clothing. I ready don 't see were it 's wrong if a woman wears pants as long as they are made for women. shoes are pertaining to man...and We all have to wear them, so what 's the difference ?? They make women 's coats, shoes, boots, gloves, hats, sweaters, eyewear and etc
  • Avsje on Mark 6:5 - 10 years ago
Jesus did not do mighty miracles because of their lack of faith in Him. He raised Lazarus from the dead when no one had faith, neither did Lazarus because he was dead. Jesus casted out demons when the man had no faith, for the demon had taken over and was in full control. There was always a reason why Jesus did what he did. Of course, Jesus has the power to heal the world, but while in his home town, he marveled at their unbelief. For by faith are we made whole. So, does our lack of faith prevent Jesus from healing or does it prevent our bodies from being healed?
  • NOEL-GEN on Genesis 3 - 10 years ago
Jojo Joseph, I read your posted comment, and I half to admit you really get into the meat of the subject, and a lot of fine scripture references, myself I hesitate to go to the extent of thinking that I know the mind of God or his intentions, that to me is traversing deep waters. Myself I believe its clear, according to scripture, the reason for Adam and Eves being banished from Eden, because it is clearly stated, to bar the way of the tree of life. But that is just my opinion. I hope the Lord does open your mind to more meaningful knowledge, like what are your thoughts on the Sabbath of the seventh day? Gen 3-5-9-15,
