JEHOVAH TSORI O Lord My Strength.Do you think yourself strong? If you do not have God, where do you think your strength comes from? Without God there is nothing to anchor yourself to.
  • Eaglesrock on Psalms 18 - 10 years ago
JEHOVAH MISQABBI The Lord My High Tower. What is a 'high ' tower? What is a 'high '. . .place of defense? It is not only a secure place. It is not merely a place of safety, but it is also a place of great vision.
  • Eaglesrock on Psalms 46 - 10 years ago
JEHOVAH MACHSI The Lord My Refuge. Verse one states the Hebrews put their trust in God. They declared Him to be their refuge and strength. What was the strength of their adversary, the Assyrian army? God is present help in trouble. This is important to understand. When you get born again, you are not magically removed from all of life s challenges and difficulties. Rather, you re given the equipment to face those problems and be victorious through God who is your help IN trouble.
  • Eaglesrock on Psalms 127 - 10 years ago
The Babylon Empire had moved in on Israel, and had brought them into captivity, bringing them into a land they knew not. The area they were carried in was a place of rivers, streams, and willow trees. The Bible says that when they got to this area that they sat down and they wept as they remembered Zion. They remembered the presence of the Lord. They sat down in the willow trees they had lost their strength, they could no longer go on. Have you ever lost your strength? Has physical sickness, and oppression come upon you to the point that you didn t know which way to turn. This is where the children of Israel were. The enemy comes along asking a request: Come on an sing now if you can. Lets see you sing now. Lets here you produce a beautiful note now.
  • Thomas Spivey on John 17 - 10 years ago
Ask yourself one question, does the Father hear and answer Jesus when He prays? If so then you can rest in this knowlage. His prayer basically covers all who simply except and believe he is praying for you and not just you alone. This is the key to entering God 's Rest.BELIEVE IT!
  • Margaret Adusei on 1 Corinthians 15:33 - 10 years ago
We are in this world but not from this world. Heaven is our home. So even though we are always around unbelievers and the scripture tells us to win them for Christ, we must be careful as believers when it comes to relationships in every area of our lives. We should know whom to share our problems with. In Acts 4:23, after Peter and John had been threatened not to do anything in the Name of Jesus, where did they go? They went to their "own company " not friends or people with canal mind. Let us do the same. Amen.
  • Jackie Thomas on Romans 16:15 - 10 years ago
    Who are the "saints "?
  • Geoff on Daniel 2 - 10 years ago
And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.------------ The last kingdom that God set up occurred around 2000 years ago. The king of that kingdom is Jesus Christ. His kingdom HAS BEEN RUINED. So what is the final kingdom that God is setting up? Read Revelation 21:27. No weeds allowed in the final kingdom! Let him that has ears listen!
  • Steve on Mark 1 - 10 years ago
Was it wrong sinful for the man with leprosy to proclaim what Jesus had done when he was asked to say nothing? or would you want to tell every one about Jesus?
  • Jacob on Acts 2 - 10 years ago
If Acts 2 is doctrinally to you today and not for Jews then please do follow these verses too. Acts 2:44-45 And all that believed were together, and had all things common And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. Will you please do that? That 's what the Bible instructs you to do. The Church age was not revealed at this time Eph 3 and the Pauline epistles hadn 't been written yet. This Acts 2 is a Jewish faith Rom 1:16-17 . Yes they were added to the church but Acts is transitional. They are not added that way now. There are four different ways the Holy Spirit is received in Acts alone. But Paul our Apostle Rom 11:13 says its by Grace through faith ALONE. Once the kingdom is rejected with the stoning of Stephen Paul the apostle to the gentiles is saved and the transition from Jew to Gentile begins and by Acts 15 everyone agrees by faith alone. Relief is being sent to the Jews who obeyed Acts 2:44-45. See Acts 11:27-30, Rom 15:26, 1 Cor 16:1-3 .
  • Geoff on Revelation 3 - 10 years ago
Verse 3: - thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee - implies that those watching WILL know the hour. What Jesus Christ said here conflicts with what he told his Apostles in Jerusalem in Matthew 24:36 - But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. - Does Jesus Christ now know the hour himself and will reveal it to those watching? Does Jesus Christ now know the hour because he was counted worthy to open the scroll mentioned in Revelation Chapter 5:2 ? The important thing to get from this is that some people WILL know the hour!
  • Karen Langerak on Jeremiah 29 - 10 years ago
the KJV says God says "I know the thoughts that I think toward you thoughts of peace... " Why did this get changed in newer translations to "I know the plans... "?? God 's thoughts have power to change things. This is NOT the same as the mistaken idea that God has plans for us, which take away the Free Will that HE gave us.
  • Mike D on Psalms 119:75 - 10 years ago
God 's ways are higher that man 's ways. The moment we believe we deserve anything than eternal separation from God, our thinking is distorted. After being told by his wife to curse God and die, Job said, Job 2:10, "Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil. " Abraham had it right when he spoke these words in Gen. 18:25B Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right? God can do only perfectly right. It is impossible for Him to do other than that. Our problem is when pain or lose is attached with life, we think maybe there is a problem with God. When we have gone through the trial or the discipline, we come out with the correct understanding, and that is God is good in all that He does. David understood that as we see in this verse.
  • Mike D on Psalms 119:72 - 10 years ago
A way to get the mind of David is to imagine you live in a country and the scriptures don 't exist in your language. Then a missionary comes and translates the Bible into your language. For the first time in that country there is a copy of the words of God 's mouth, God breathed scripture. You are finally fortunate enough to get one page of one book. What would be value if you could have the entire Bible? Men have died trying to get this book into the hands of others. It is the Book of all books. Within it lies the salvation for the soul. No other book in the history of man could offer that. With that said, what would it be worth to you? David had it right when he said the riches of the Law far exceed any temporal riches found on this earth.
  • Martha Prince on Exodus 31 - 10 years ago
Dewey J...How do you explain Genesis Chapter 2? God wasn 't talking to the Jews or Christians! Genesis 2:1-3 1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. 2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. 3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
  • Louiza on Micah 3 - 10 years ago
For sure what is talked of in this scripture is happening in the world today.....but my concern goes to the congregation that continues to listen and follow these false prophets....we all know that Jesus paid the ultimate price,so why do people continue to follow such prophets??????
  • Marie Woodruff on Job 9:18 - 10 years ago
We are told that our breath is our soul. People are eligible to go to heaven but not animals, we are told. Why is the breath of animals any different from humans? Don 't we ALL breathe in the same breath air ?
  • Arlene Lobb on John 11 - 10 years ago
My paternal grandfather chose John 11:25-26 yo be engraved on his tombstone. It is a grest statement of Jesus Christ, our Savior 's witness to the world! We need to go into all the world, testifying to others this. Jesus is the resurrection and the life! Eternal life! "Believe this!? ". John 3:16-17. He loves us. He freely gave us His gift of salvation and eternal life. Believest thou this!?
  • Aaron Roberts on Ezekiel 38 - 10 years ago
Marvins---are you really saying they had a word to transcribe Truck?
  • Aaron on Ezekiel 38 - 10 years ago
Interesting, I wonder if the IRON DOME has anything to do with that? Interesting thought at least. Isreal is said to be a peace at that time, I would not say it is very peaceful now... So maybe for some the time is not near?
  • Adedayo Mercy on Genesis 1:26 - 10 years ago
Reading John 1:1-5, we will find out that The Word was with God in the beginning. Verse 1 says 'lInux the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God and God was the word ' '. So if you agree with the Bible, you will know that The word became flesh Jesus . And the Same John 1 says that by the Word was everything made and without Him there was nothing made that was made. That means God was using the Word Jesus to create everything and that means the consent of the Word Jesus , which is also God according to John 1:1 was needed in the creation process. If so, who was God now speaking to that ' 'Let us make man in our own image and likeness? ' ' If not Jesus. Now that said, if you believe in the Word in John 4:24 ' 'God is a spirit: and they that worship Him must Worship Him in truth and in Spirit ' ', then there is no reason for you now not to know that God is Jesus and God is the Spirit. The reason why He is called the HolySpirit is because there can be evil spirit but His own Spirit is Holy. I pray that God explains it to you Himself the Same way He did to me so that no indoctrination will be a veil on your face. Amen!!!
  • Geoff on Revelation 11 - 10 years ago
The two witnesses are Judah and Joseph. Read Genesis Chapter 49 to confirm this. There really are twelve sons of Jacob in the final part of the days! Why though, are only two of them standing before the Lord of the earth? The other ten give away their power to the wild beast. Also confirm in Zechariah that it is also only Judah and Joseph who are saved and not cast out. Zechariah therefore infers that the other ten ARE cast out. When you read the blessing due to Joseph in Genesis Chapter 49 notice the similarities to branches by a fountain Olive and Golden Liquid. Also notice that Joseph is to be a "helper " that God sends forth in the final part of the days. Now read John Chapter 15 and notice that Jesus Christ asks the Father to send forth "the helper ".
  • James on Genesis 1 - 10 years ago
So when God said lets make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness exactly who is he talking about and when did he create them?
  • Jacob on Acts 2 - 10 years ago
The reason that Jesus said if you have seen me you have seen the father is: Hebrews 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person. This text is speaking of The Lord Jesus Christ. He is not the Father. He says in John 10:30 I and my Father are one. But this doesn 't He is the Father. They are one in unity just as the believers are one in Him. We are one with each other but are not the same as each other and are not Him. John 17:11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that THEY MAY BE ONE, as WE are. Jesus is the image of God so He said John 12:45 And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me. They couldn 't see the Father without Jesus because he declared Him or made Him known. John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. If there is no Godhead who were they seeing in the Old Testament? Exodus 6:2-3 And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the LORD: And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty. If they were seeing God Almighty but it wasn 't the Father who was it? Hint. The preincarnate Christ.

Here is Rev. 13:18: ?Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.? Here is the answer: Here is a riddle. Let him that hath the needed wisdom, determine the multitude of the beast for it is a multitude of men, and this multitude is chi xi stigma. 666
  • Jacob on Acts 2 - 10 years ago
Clearly the water is physical birth. That which is flesh is flesh. Flesh is physical and it is associated with water. We say, her water broke. Spirit is obviously the new birth. This is a good verse for the oneness to explain. Genesis 19:24 Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven Strange verse if there is no Godhead. What aboutGenesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: The angles sure didn 't help Him considering Isaiah 44:24 I am the LORD that maketh all things that stretcheth forth the heavens alone that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself. What aboutGe 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us. Who is us? Hosea 12:4 Yea, he had power over the angel, and prevailed: he wept, and made supplication unto him: he found him in Bethel, and there he spake with us Who is the US in this verse? The Bible tells you. Hosea 12:5 Even the LORD God of hosts the LORD is his memorial.
