JOHN 4:2 ! WHY ? ! BECAUSE OUR BLESSED LORD AND SAVIOR CHRIST YESHUA WAS NOT GIVEN THE MINISTREY OF BAPTISIM ! OUR BLESSED LORD AND SAVIOR CAME AS THE SACRIFICAL LAMB OF GOD AND TO SET UP THE CHURCH OR YET TO COME KINGDOM OF GOD AGE OR GENTILES ! HE HAD STILL YET TO GIVE UP THE HOLY GHOST AT THAT POINT IN HIS TIME IN THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN AGE AS HE CLOSED HIS AGE OF HEAVEN OUT ON THE CROSS !
  • Stephen F. Zielski on 1 Corinthians 1 - 8 years ago

OUR BLESSED LORD TOOK THE TWELVE DOWN BY THE WATERS TO BAPTISE WITH WATER WHERE JOHN WAS YET HE {CHRIST YESHUA} DID NOT ! WHY ? • A disciple on Micah 1 - 8 years ago
"For the transgression of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel." If it be so with the Chosen Nation and the House that is called by the LORD's Name; shall it not be the same with those who have been grafted in, when they do the same things? In the world of the beginning it was the apostasy and sin of the "sons of God" that CAUSED the whole world to be filled with corruption!
  • Lynn on Matthew 24 - 8 years ago
I am totally pre-trib and here is why 1st and foremost why would the Lord beat his Bride up before the marriage? The Tribulation is for Jews. Saved gentiles are the bride along with Jews who believe also. Isaiah 26:20 Come my people enter in to thy chambers and shut thy doors about thee : hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be over past.
  • Gerda on 2 Esdras 7 - 8 years ago
Was he the only one in the old testament who knew the name the name Jesus and Christ?
  • Steve on 1 Samuel 30 - 8 years ago
Wow can you imagine the grief?, v.4 " no power to weep"...that's a deep heartache.....V.12 when we learn to rely fully on God's Word, he told him to pursue that he will overtake and RECOVER ALL! AMEN...v.19 The fulfillment of the promise. " David Recovered all".....Let us abide in the Word and trust with full certainty that God is able to walk us in all victory in Jesus Amen
  • Fred Scanlan on Job 34 - 8 years ago
Our natural man and woman because of original sin is naturally against God. Since this is true ,than how can man commune with the creator or be found in and with him? How will God manifest himself to us?
Christ only, is the way the truth and life,. When we are clothed, covered in his righteousness, the Holy Spirit will manifest himself to us. To Know Christ is to love Him. Keep his commandments.
  • A disciple on Judges 2 - 8 years ago
"Was there a failure on the part of the last generation that KNEW God and His deeds in handing over the baton properly to the next generation?" I think the answer to that could be Yes and No. There is certainly a wicked generation that rebels in a rage and fury away from the good and the holy way of Jesus, so they can fornicate and live lawlessly and NO ONE tell them what to do. But we are signs!
  • A disciple on Luke 7 - 8 years ago
What kind of status or position of "importance" in the Church or Community would exempt a man from "Love Thy Neighbor As Thyself?" or negates his own unfitness for the Presence of God? Jesus Christ came in the flesh to purchase us again to God by His blood: THAT'S OUR FITNESS FOR THE PRESENCE OF GOD! Money in the Bank and a bigger house in a nice area does not make you better than your neighbor!
  • Rita Lee on Proverbs 24 - 8 years ago
I prefer try to live in accordance to the KJV version of the Holy Bible, and refer to the Basic Bible. I can't grasp the necessity of all the other versions. It angers me that man attempts to manipulate everything, even something as simple as a play on words to accomodate an agenda. Why so many !!??
  • A disciple on Luke 7 - 8 years ago
"And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, See this woman? I entered into your house, you gave me no water for my feet: but she has washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head." Some really believe that their sins don't accrue much debt with the LORD and while showing outward gestures like inviting Jesus to eat at their house they're too busy finding fault to love.
  • A disciple on Luke 7 - 8 years ago
"And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both." "Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?" God commands all men everywhere to repent and believe the Glad Tidings of Christ. Our salvation depends upon our being reconciled, AND a character and conduct in holiness and truth and righteousness.
  • Abayomi on Judges 2 - 8 years ago
And also all that generation were gathered unto their fathers: and there arose another generation after them, which knew not the LORD, nor yet the works which he had done for Israel.. Was there a failure on the part of the last generation that knew God and His deeds in handing over the baton properly to the next generation? Let us heed the word of God in Deuteronomy 6;6-9
  • A disciple on Jonah 4 - 8 years ago
"But it displeased Jonah exceedingly, and he was very angry...I pray thee, O LORD, was not this my saying, when I was yet in my country?" There are several times in the Bible when the righteous get angry at the evildoers. The cruelty and violence of the heathen Nineveh was unforgivable to righteous Jonah, to find any justification for bringing the Word of God to that wicked people to find mercy.
  • Rhona Livingstone on Romans 8 - 8 years ago
You know this verse is so appropriate all the time but today its so significant. It has brought back to memory how we are not to stress ourselves. Why? As it plainly states in all these things. What things? Everything the good the bad the disappointments, in friends and family we have to take a step back and ponder on the word. Even in those situations when the enemy comes to take away your hopes and joy that we are strong in God and He has our backs and we can conquer all things, but only with His help. Sometimes its hard to do so but we cannot give up or give in. We are strong and created in His image and we are conquerors in Jesus name. The most High God. Amen? So be strong and stay strong through it all. We are winners.
  • A disciple on Genesis 9 - 8 years ago
Bruce; God has power to give life and to take it away: no man lives any amount of time by his own will by his supposed good health or any natural means; but by the word of God! When God wants one to live nine hundred plus years; what is that a problem? "Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? FOLLOW THOU ME!" John 21:22 Whether our years are short or long!
  • April on 2 Samuel 14 - 8 years ago
I must ask, what is it with the vanity complex?think of Lucifer and how he thought he was so beautiful and should be worshiped and a percentage of the the angels followed and were decieved and blinded by his beauty and the way he used words, here it speaks of Absalome with perfect hair, it even speaks of how much it weighs,I think of 1Samuel Ch16:8.just because they're handsome doesn't mean NOTHING
  • Bruce Matthews on Genesis 9 - 8 years ago
How did Noah live so long? People Don't live that long, he lived longer than 9 people combined.
  • Sharon on Revelation 20 - 8 years ago
We cannot begin to imagine how we have gone astray from god but to die is gain in Christ. We see how Satan that wicked adversary is roaming seeking who he will devour.Friends my question to you is where would you spend your eternity? Where death meet you judgment is there .So is your life hidden in Christ? I say to the whole world make your calling and election sure, find Jesus-quickly. Repent.
  • A disciple on Luke 3 - 8 years ago
"And now also THE AXE IS LAID UNTO THE ROOT of the trees: every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire." All that is not planted by God shall be rooted up. What is your life rooted in? Into what are you growing up? What are the fruits you bear? Will God find you in His image and likeness, in faith hope and love in Christ? Or worthless and bad?
  • Celia W. on Genesis 3 - 8 years ago
so it looks to me like God created the subtil serpent (which a lot of Christian mistake for satan)
God also is the one that CREATED the tree of good and evil so does that mean evil came from God and not any one else?
  • A disciple - 8 years ago
When the LORD has come by year after year, only to find empty show but no fruit; what is there left for Him to do? The very ground that is being occupied by that one is rendered useless! His servants may persuade Him to wait a little longer, just one more season to work the ground, if by some remote chance that all of God's hopes and efforts for that one wouldn't be completely wasted and lost!
  • A disciple on Amos 8 - 8 years ago
"And he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said the Lord unto me, The end is come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by them any more." Every year passes more and more quickly; like getting used to going the same route every day for a long time, the time and the scenery becomes over-familiar. But do we realize that the time of fruit is passed?
  • A disciple on John 11 - 8 years ago
Why did Jesus fold the napkin that was over His face? Well, one thing, it completely proves the shroud of Turin to be a hoax, and roundly and soundly ensures that NO GRAVEN IMAGE OF CHRIST WAS LEFT for men to be snared by relic worship! They that worship and serve the LORD must worship and serve in the Spirit: if anyone has not the Spirit of Christ, he is not at all His!
  • A disciple on Psalms 19 - 8 years ago
Hey Bill; Did you know that the Received Text was actually in all Capital Letters, and no punctuation marks? We also use Large Caps for emphasis, and with respect to the Words of God that emphasis is nothing to find fault in! "If you had known what means, I WILL HAVE MERCY AND NOT SACRIFICE, YOU WOULD NOT HAVE CONDEMNED THE GUILTLESS!" I think that our Brother knows the rules of writing.
  • Mild Bill on Psalms 19 - 8 years ago
Steve,Typing in capital letters is like shouting in speech, not always needed. This space is for your own thoughts,we read the psalm. How has God's word touched you?The general evidence of God is revealed to this lost world in nature, history and conscience. When God quickens sinners, specifically ,then they can see him.Israel today,as God promised,is evidence of his existence, before the other nations.
  • Olegas Bogdanovas on John 11 - 8 years ago
I have never considered that Jesus "folded" the napkin in the tomb. Why is this important?

The fact is that Jesus rose from being dead, and was seen alive by several hundred people. That Jesus rose from the dead is the key of Christianity.
  • Helen Adeyemi on John 11 - 8 years ago
Why did Jesus fold the Napkin?
