  • Carlos Angel Rey on 2 Samuel 8 - 7 years ago
Thought of David as young? He's probably old by now!
  • A disciple on Genesis 25 - 7 years ago
No Jason, you are wrong! The Scriptures say that God loved Jacob and hated Esau. Why? Because Esau hated the things of the LORD and despised his sacred heritage; choosing instead to be heathen like the Canaanites his neighbors, and Ishmael the wild man who despised his father Isaac. Esau thought more of his pride and his natural appetites than the holy promise of Christ, and God's covenant!
  • A disciple on Galatians 3 - 7 years ago
"Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangs on a tree:" Galatians 3:13 Redeem: to buy back to get back recover, as by paying a fee to set free by paying a ransom to deliver from sin and its penalties, as by a sacrifice made for the sinner to fulfill a promise or pledge to make amends or atone for to restore to favor by making amends to make worthwhile justify. . . "From the curse of the Law." What makes accursed of the Law? Christ has undone it and made for our complete reconciliation and perfect standing with God so that nothing of that should any more be in us, or have dominion over us.
  • A disciple on 2 Kings 21 - 7 years ago
Emmanuel Appew; How does one be judged by God, so that He hardens the heart; and another that He draws him with cords of love? How do some recognize and fear the high and holy calling of the Spirit of God, while others...many, will not receive Him or know Him at all? We might expect that the more someone actually sees the works of God and has access to His Word, there would be a good result. But..
  • A disciple on Genesis 4 - 7 years ago
Jeff; You asked, "...why isn't Cain's genealogy in with Adams?" Because we are created to be the children of God; and Cain despised and rejected to be a son of God, and instead filled his heart with the devil; condemned of himself to wandering in the earth as a hater of the LORD, rejecting the Word of Christ our Saviour; and unrepentant for murdering his brother, waiting for his everlasting doom.
  • A disciple on 1 Corinthians 5 - 7 years ago
Paul is showing his love for him? Of course, he's evidently outraged by the unclean spirit being able to breach the wall of grace and protection! How about love for holiness and virtue? The point is NOT once saved always saved; but extreme alarm of danger of eternal destruction for letting sin back in! Giving one over to Satan for destruction in order to POSSIBLY save that one, is no guarantee!
  • A disciple on 1 Corinthians 5 - 7 years ago
Found Sheep; I don't know how you come up with that from this Scripture? The whole point is that God hates sin, especially in those whom He has saved and given EVERY provision for new life. NO FORNICATOR will enter the kingdom of God! In the days of Noah many millions knew at one time, but forsook the LORD for love of the world and selfish gain and perished! We must endure to the end to be saved!
  • A disciple on Genesis 4 - 7 years ago
Jeff, I really appreciate your friendliness, and the very worthy discussion of the Scriptures. Look at the next chapter, verse 4 "..and he begat sons and daughters:" How else would people have been born? I think so much confusion is allowed to enter among the Believers when they are drawn away from reality into a misguided notion that things spoken of in the Bible are necessarily mystical/cryptic.
  • Marilyn on Titus 1 - 7 years ago
I am proud to read this chapter because I made a chart based on numbers 23:19.
I read this everyday and whenever I look at the chart. God is not a man , that He
should lie, neither the Son of Man that He should repent: hath He said , and shall
He not do it? Or hath He spoken and shall He not make it good? This "blesses" my
heart to know that my source is God and not man.
  • Mark on Genesis 2 - 7 years ago
Carol, the fruit is unknown. The Bible does not tell us. It was a fruit that is something that could be eaten. For what would we do if we knew it was some certain fruit? Not ever eat it again? We know by many other Scriptures that it was the devil satan himself NOT as you describe "the consciousness of the mortal human mankind."
  • Rebeka on Acts 3 - 7 years ago
Why did the people marvel that Peter healed the lame man? Christ healed many people and they called him unspeakable things for his miracles. But when Peter healed the lame man they stood in awe of him. Why is that?
  • A disciple on Genesis 2 - 7 years ago
Hi Carol; What is it about the tree of the knowledge of good and evil? I think it must (in a certain sense) be a real chemical and biological element in it like other poisonous plants; but also something much more that God knows is in it, that remains a mystery, for the purpose of proving the obedient character: in other words; He said, Thou shalt not eat of it, for in eating of it you will die.
  • A disciple on Romans 6 - 7 years ago
Will Virella; What it means that our old man is crucified with Christ, and that the body of sin is destroyed, and that from now on we should not serve sin? It means that when we repent and ask the Lord Jesus to forgive us for all we've done and are then really and truly converted; Jesus breaks the power of sin's hold of us, and we can start our life anew; no longer a stupid and helpless slave!
  • Lucy on Revelation 22 - 7 years ago
I have a question, not so much a comment.
    Has Satan been set free?
Is he free and among us now?
  • Carol on Genesis 2 - 7 years ago
There is the tree of Life. And the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. My question is: what does the tree of knowledge of good and evil "contain" ? what is its fruit?? Don't tell me the 🍎 Apple. Also the serpent tempted Eve to eat it. To me it seems that the "serpent" often referred to as satan or the devil is the consciousness of the mortalhuman mankind. Please share with me
  • A disciple on James 2 - 7 years ago
"For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment. What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?" While few like the meat and many like to pick the bone, about whether being under grace exempts us from the works of the Law. But isn't the Spirit of Grace given for us to DO God's Law?
  • Jeff - 7 years ago
Another question why isn't Cain's genelogy in with Adams? verse 25 God had appointed her another seed since Cain slew Able.. Seth.. I thought I read somewhere that the giants were offspring from the angels ? With women from somewhere I cant remember . I'll have to look that up. May God bless each of us. He has me...
  • Jeff on Genesis 4 - 7 years ago
ok 1st question Where did the people from the land of Nod come from ? Were they created when Adam and Eve or are they their offspring too? Back to Cain it says he gave God offerings also but they weren't good enough for God they must have been bad fruit or shall we say seconds.. The devil must have gotten in Cains head making him do evil things such as he does today..
  • Will Virella on Romans 6 - 7 years ago
What does it mean, Roman 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin?

    Thank you
  • Kurt Chappell on Psalms 89 - 7 years ago
David as a boy showed amazing faith to slay evil. God set David apart with wisdom and grace. A human forerunner to divinity (Jesus). What a human David can’t be, Jesus was. God’s wrath towards sin, forsaking Jesus with his rod of discipline spoken about in Ps 89. Millennia passes, the Word now heard in all nations so what is next from God? We know not, so let our faith light shine for others lost.
  • A disciple on Revelation 6 - 7 years ago
Al; The Spirit's inspiring of the holy writers of the Scriptures is not a mystical code which may be unlocked by methodologies of human thinking. If you listen to anything that the Lord taught, and try to dissect and analyse the words instead of hearing the moral and spiritual points instead of in a good and honest heart take the message as it was delivered in its simplicity; what shall it profit?
  • A disciple on Revelation 6 - 7 years ago
Al; I am not answering you incoherently nor unrelated to the things that the vision speaks to; but it may be your preconceived notions are blocking you from understanding? These aren't things I just made up; but they agree with the real history as recorded in the Scriptures; and what many Nations have also kept from ancient times; although embellished and twisted to suit their idolatrous customs.
  • Jeff on Genesis 4 - 7 years ago
Does anyone else think it is possible for Cain to be the offspring of the devil , the serpent? Eve was beguiled by the serpent . That's why Cain was the tiller of the ground . And also is it possible that Cain and Able were twins. And that was the fruit they were not suppose to pick....???
  • Charles Pineda, Jr. on 1 Chronicles 7 - 7 years ago
The second sentence of verse 14 states."A people that are called by my name." Taking it literally it seems as there would be a people know as I Am, Lord Almighty, Yahway, etc. So, who are the people that are called by the Lord's name? From the Scriptures we know it was ancient Hebrews later to be called Israelies. But that is not the Lord's name. And explanations?
  • Robert Bartlett on Psalms 127 - 7 years ago
We should do as it reads. We old reach out when we are in need..... In the world today some people (The number???) want self gratification NOW. Not thinking at all. Go with God and Jesus.
Thank you for letting me listen this, can't really see or hear that well.
  • Rosa on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
Question! The sun and the moon were created day four! What was the light for day time and darkness for night that distinguished the day from the night?
  • Bryan Keith Earley on Numbers 20 - 7 years ago
22 And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
  • Hannah on Psalms 51 - 7 years ago
God is so good to us... we sin and mess up time after time, and yet He still loves us and, once we confess, sees only the blood of Christ covering us, not the scars and marks of all our sin. How could we not love Him? He is so much better than we deserve!
  • Bruce on 1 Thessalonians 4 - 7 years ago
Jackie: Where does it say, The Two Witnesses were beheaded?
  • Sunshine on Daniel 1 - 7 years ago
