    "Of Revenge"

As regards revenge, that is to oppose an enemy with the sword, we believe & confess that the Lord Christ has forbidden & set aside to His disciples & followers all revenge & retaliation, & commanded them to render to no one evil for evil or cursing for cursing, but to put the sword into the sheath, or as the prophets have predicted, to beat the swords into ploughshares.

From this we understand that, according to His example, we must not inflict pain, harm, or sorrow upon anyone, but seek the highest welfare & salvation of all men, & even if necessity requires it, flee for the Lord's sake from one city or country into another, & suffer the spoiling of our goods; that we must not harm anyone, & when we are smitten, rather turn the other cheek than to take revenge or retaliate.

And moreover, that we must pray for our enemies, feed and refresh them whenever they are hungry or thirsty, & thus convince them by well doing, & overcome all ignorance.

Finally, that we must do good and commend ourselves to every man's conscience; & according to the law of Christ, do unto others that which we would have others do unto us.

    AntiChrist Scriptures

    1 John 2:18

Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

    1 John 2:22

Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

    1 John 4:3

And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

    2 John 1:7

For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a Deceiver and an antichrist.

  • To vote or not vote choose on Psalms 81 - 4 years ago
Voting is a privilege that American soldiers have protected with their lives throughout our history.

Voting is our voice. If you don't use it, then you have no right to complain. Be quiet.

Usually we have one candidate that against abortion. That's who you'd want to vote for.

All politicians have their speeches out there on Youtube. There's no reason to be in the dark on issues.

After the caught up in the clouds (rapture), and the Antichrist is revealed.....THERE WILL BE NO VOTING anymore period. He has his agenda, and doesn't give a flying kite what people think.

If you miss out being born again and raptured; you'll have to take the Mark of the Beast (at some point; maybe weeks, maybe months?) to buy food, water; etc. But you will lose your soul at the end.

There will no government then. Antichrist will rule the world. The economies, the food supply, religion, and he will have his own armies to monitor and control people left behind. There may be internet or tv until the time when the two Witnesses are murdered by Antichrist. You may have to take the mark to have Internet?

The Bible says that the Holy Spirit will be taken out of the way when these events occur. He'll still be here for those that want to be born again; but He cannot save your body. You'll survive miraculously, or you'll be decapitated for not taking the mark of the Beast or worshipping Antichrist.

They're going to destroy all Bibles. You could hide them under rocks? Take off the barcode that can be GPS tracked.

Don't think you can hide out in the woods: they have drones to search for gps and infrared to see people's heat.

Be practical. Vote against bad management: those that ARE legislating to close churches, ban singing in church, ban Christian school choice and ban giving your tax money to your kids schools!

Ban firearms to protect against rioters tearing up your homes.

    Voting is a tool.

I'm a little confused, am I hearing from the attached Comments, and Interpretations of Scripture, people are insinuating "Jesus" is "GOD the Lord"...?

Matthew, Mark, & John tells Us over & over again, who "GOD" is, and who we are suppose to be Serving(GOD), and not Serving(Man) ... Jesus was Born a Man, correct ???

    Revelation 21:4-7

4 And "God" shall wipe away all teares from their eyes: and there shall bee no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there bee any more paine: for the former things are passed away.

5 And he (GOD) that sate vpon the throne, said, Behold, I(GOD)make all things new. And hee (GOD) said vnto me (John), Write: for these words are true and faithfull.

6 And he (GOD) said vnto mee (John), It is done: I (GOD)am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I (GOD) will giue vnto him (Chosen, Israel) that is athirst, of the fountaine of the water of life, freely....

7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his "God", and he shall be my "Son".

Luke 2:49 And he (Jesus) said vnto them (Parents), How is it that ye sought me(Jesus)? Wist yee not that I must bee about my fathers(GOD) businesse? Which Scripture tells us to serve "Jesus" instead.

Please direct me to the correct verse that say's Praise Jesus for/to get to "GOD our Lord & Saver". (I am truly troubled by this ) .. Thx

I have been doing my best to keep silent as I read some of the comments where "Christians?" makes the statement that they do not vote. They are not political. Some attempt to state in so many words that it is not Christian to get involved in politics and/or vote. Do you people realize that the Democrat party is 100 per cent for killing babies, and even after they are born? Your tax dollars that you pay gladly are helping and will be helping Planned Parenthood kill more babies if the Democrats gain power over our country. God HATES the shedding of innocent blood, yet you people say you do not vote? You can not get involved... I pray God will open your eyes to the world all around you where they are calling good evil and evil good. The Washington D.C. swamp hates our President Donald J. Trump because he is exposing their corruption. He is pro life and pro Israel! I pray you will open your eyes and fight this evil Democrat party. Don't be complacent by doing nothing, which is only condoning their evil plans. Again, I pray God will open your eyes, but it really is up to us, as God has given us free will. Remember, He will know us by our fruits.

In Song of Solomon chapter 2 verse 7 it reads in the 1611 KJV,"I charge you, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, by the roes, and by the hinds of the field, that ye stir not up, nor awake my love, till she please." In the 1769 revision, it reads,"till he please." Why the difference? Which is more accurate?
  • Dr John Burgess on 1 Corinthians 6:13 - 4 years ago
Why so hung up on King James? It was the 8th English translation (not the first as is often taught) and the translators had no access to much older, and obviously more accurate manuscripts, which are available today and have been incorporated into more modern translations. I am curious why KJV is considered by many to be the only valid translation. And even more curious about what missionaries do with non-English speaking peoples. And don't tell me that you translate the KJV into their language because that's impossible. The word SNOW is found in the KJV but equatorial tribes don't have any concept of snow or even cold. I see this as a problem that KJV worshipers have. A Baptist friend of mine - whose church has NIV's for pew Bibles, once said that those who hold only to the KJV are worshiping the book rather than the author. I'd be interested in your answer. Please respond to my email address as well as on line because I may not see your answer on your website.

Information on the Judgements of God. What are they, when are they, who are they about, I'm sure there are different kinds. Even a scripture I once read said talk of God's judgements.

How do we line up to this confession of faith?

"We believe and confess that God has ordained power & authority, & set them to punish the evil, & protect the good, to govern the world, & maintain countries & cities, with their subjects, in good order & regulation; & that we, therefore, may not despise, revile or resist the same, but must acknowledge & honor them as the ministers of God, & be subject & obedient unto them, yea, ready for all good works, especially in that which is not contrary to the law, will, and commandment of God; also faithfully pay custom, tribute & taxes, & to render unto them dues, even also as the Son of God taught and practiced, & commanded His disciples to do; that we, moreover, must constantly and earnestly for the prosperity of the country, that we may dwell under its protection, earn our livelihood, & lead a quiet, peaceable life, with all godliness & honesty; &, furthermore, that the Lord would recompense unto them, here, & afterwards in eternity, all benefits, liberty, & favor which we enjoy here under their praiseworthy administration."

I have a question concerning musical instruments in our worship today.. I have read and study one view on this and it is something that I have never studied before and had never even heard in all of my church going years. There are those who believe that instrumental music is not authorized for the New Testament worship of God today. I have read all the scriptures supporting this but it has come from one source. What is your commentary on this subject and do you have scripture to validate your stand? I have read the new Testament and have not found the use of musical instruments mention when the disciples gathered to worship. How did it come to be acceptable in our worship services if it was not authorized by God for his worship to him according to the gospel of Jesus? I would just like to hear another view on this subject but know that we are worship God in spirit and in truth. We are to do the will of God, and not what is pleasing to us. When we gather together for worship we are to worship according to His purpose and by his authority, according to the New Testament. The Israelites were commanded to worship with music in the Old Testament, but no mention of instruments were mentioned in the new Testament.

Psalm 81:10 "I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it."

Dear Sir As for this verse my Pastor interpret as 'When we pray and worship, we must take off mask, our mouth and face must never be covered before God...it's our mouth that will open before Him and He will fill it.

Was he right? I find it is a bit distorted here. Please help. Thank you and God bless.

  • Stephende on Hebrews 11 - 4 years ago
The "faith" chapter, Paul here is trying to define the indefinable. Is faith simply believing or something more tangible? Faith screeches past belief, as faith is more. It is a bet that the words written in the Bible are explicitly true, past debating. It is one's experience that God, for certain, is a rewarder, and His reward is with Him! In the garden, Jesus' night was full of angst, demonstrating his human side, but he proceded with his teaching mission. Moses endured twice 40 days and nights in supplication to El Shaddai, on behalf of the people who resorted to idolatry. The commandments were necessitated and were put into the Arc. There is no faith without obedience to God!!!

The words in this passage in the wisdom of Solomon are ointments to all souls that seek God with all their might. They are very powerful for the healings of every soul. They are very encouraging and cast away all doubts about the power of the Almighty Lord. The words lead people to know Jesus Christ in the verse that make reference to the water from the flinty rock which point to Him in 1st Corinthians 10.4. Who on this planet earth can take away this powerful scripture from the bible? I leave that to God.

  • Betty Miller on Deuteronomy 30:19 - 4 years ago
( 19) I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

    (20) That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

    -------------------------------

Verses 19 & 20 goes hand and in hand which means, If we choose to live in sin ( having sex before marriage, marry a woman or man who has already been married, lusting for someone or thing, lies, deceitful, murderers, worship idols such as necklace crosses, portraits, lust

gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy, pride ) we will soon be under God's wrath. When things starts happening to us that's not so pleasant; we need to think about the the life style that we live and how we are by others. If you can't love everyone here on earth, God is not letting you go to heaven because God is not letting that type of spirit come there. Why do do think that the devil spirit roams about this earth and beneath the sea? He was kicked out of heaven thinking he can over take God throne. The devil fail to understand that God knows him inside and out; just as he knows us. God said that He wants only holy ones in heaven not a people that loves one and hate the other. We must be kind and have a heart to give to the poor. God said the poor will be with us always; this means that there will always be a chance for you to walk up to someone to offer them help of some kinds such as buy them food, offer to buy them clothes, offer to give them a job, offer them to come to your home to eat at your table, or offer them a gift card to help with their necessities . There is a book of life on everyone of us, so please , to all of you, Be mindful to what you say. God made All. We are All One!
