    It has been a good day. Jesus speaks to me and you.

    John 21:14-17

    14 This is now the third time that Jesus shewed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead.

    15 So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord, thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.

    16 He saith to him again the second time, Simon Peter, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

    17 He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he saith unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things, thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him. Feed my sheep.

    What happens to the children when the church bride is caught up to meet Jesus and the parents were backslidden and it cost them the gift thou Most high hath promised to the faithful who endured in the last hour and didn't give in to temptation, if the parents are left behind now to die martyrs then what happens to the 3or 4, 5,6,7 or whatever age children they have? Are they left as well? Surely there are children in the antichrist scheme right? Thanks this is really perplexing me. I can use some prayer as well .... Alot! Names Scott D, -West Sacramento

    REBEKAH - SEEKING THE WILL OF GOD by Kelli Worrall, MBI prof 2021

    As a college professor, one of the most common conversations I have with my students is about God's will. How does He reveal His leading to us? In Abraham's advanced years, his primary concern became a wife for Isaac. Only through Isaac's marriage and fatherhood would God's covenant continue, so Abraham gave his chief servant specific instructions on how to find the right woman.

    When the servant came to Nahor, he stopped by a well with his ten camels, and in prayer, he devised a unique method for discovering God's will. He would administer a test. The servant would ask a girl for a drink, and if she offered to water his camels too, then she would be "the one." Before he had even finished praying, Rebekah arrived (v. 15). The servant noticed her beauty and immediately asked Rebekah for a drink. She offered one without hesitation. Then she offered to water his camels as well. Her jug was 3 gallons or so in capacity. Since a thirsty camel can drink 25-40 gallons, Rebekah had to fill her jug about 130 times! The servant could add "hard worker" and "servant spirit" to her qualities.

    The servant watched her intently, praying for internal confirmation for his external observations. He clearly received the assurance he sought because, when Rebekah finished, he gave her costly gifts and asked about her family (vv. 22-23). Upon hearing that she was Abraham's close relative, the servant worshiped the Lord. The servant's visit with Rebekah's family served as further confirmation, as did Rebekah's willingness to go immediately-even when her family asked for ten more days together.

    >> The process of discerning God's will involves prayerful assessment of our circumstances and motivations. We should ask God to direct our thinking and help us walk in step with His Spirit. Sometimes He reveals His will through unusual events. But more often He opens and closes doors and His Spirit gives us discernment.

    1. The Papacy.

    Who are her daughters?

    2. Sometime after Christ's crucifixion and resurrection, a meeting of the early churches decided to change God's 7th day Sabbath to Sunday.

    3. This change was justified by a) honoring Christ's sacrifice on the cross and b) to separate themselves from association with Judaism.

    What I find mystifying is that Christ Himself claimed to be the Lord of the Sabbath. Yet how is it then that the majority of "Christian" denominations consider Sunday as the sabbath, rather than the one Jesus and the Apostles both observed and preached?

    Such change could only be from a power intent on corrupting God's appointed Sabbath...The Beast of Revelation, Satan working behind the the cloak of Catholicism.

    Lastly, The closing of Revelation concludes that God's people are those that "keep the Commandments of God and have the faith of Jesus Christ.

    I welcome your response,

    1 Peter 2:11-25 (free; strangers and Pilgrims)

    11 Dearly Beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;

    12 Having your conversation honest among Gentiles that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, which they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

    13 Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake, whether it be to the king, as supreme;

    14 Or to governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.

    15 For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:

    16 As Free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.

    17 Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.

    18 Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.

    19 For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully.

    20 For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.

    21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps;

    22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:

    23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously;

    24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness; by whose stripes ye were healed.

    25 For he were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
  • Eating Heavy Bible Every Day on Genesis 2 - 5 years ago
    I can't believe what I am seeing in here. I can read whole books of the Bible every day. I turn off the phone, the tv, get a large water and pray that my eyes and heart be open to the Holy Spirit.

    He's our Teacher. Book of John 14:28,

    John 16:13-14, 1 Peter 2:2,

    1 Corinthians 3:2

    If we're not quoting scripture like The Son of God, what are we learning?

    Acts 19:15 And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; BUT WHO ARE YOU?!

    This is what we need. More Christians quoting scripture like the Son of God.

    I have visions ok. I had this one of me as a baby Christian: I was sitting on a chair by this big table. I had my arms on the table pulling food into my mouth. Everybody's face looks like disgust. Then I hear and see Jesus laughing at the head of the table. He was pleased. I wake up.

    Jesus likes to see a healthy appetite!

    If I sound kinda rowdy it's because I'm from Texas. If we all ate the Bible like Texans can pack on some barbecue, we'd all be firing scripture like the Son of God.

    When Jesus was in the desert, fasting 40 days and nights: he was challenged by Satan. Jesus said, IT IS WRITTEN: and He fired off the appropriate Scripture. He defeated Satan each time. We can too. We're his disciples too.

    2 Peter chapter 3

    3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days SCOFFERS, walking after their own lusts,

    4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

    5 For this they WILLINGLY are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:

    6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

    7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

    8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

    9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that ALL should come to repentance.

    10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be BURNED UP.

    11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness?

    12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be DISSOLVED and the elements shall MELT with fervent heat?

    13 Nevertheless we, according to his PROMISE, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

    14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that YE MAY BE FOUND of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
