Who is Elijah?
Who is Obadiah?
Who is Ahab?
What's better than reading and believing these verses ?
When you hear God speaking through them to you personally , it's more than a doctrine . The living word of God . Amen .

Also stating that "God forbid" you sin because of being under the grace of God. This is the same Paul who wrote the verses some people perceive as "believe & have faith in Jesus Christ and your sealed". Basically people stating it doesn't matter if you sin or not.
Like I stated to another person: I hope you're right. In no way, shape, or form do I see this teaching in the Holy Bible. The earliest teachings of Christ were "Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand".
It seems some perceive us who have a zeal to follow Christ, and actually try to separate from the sins of this world, that we are trying to earn our salvation. This is incorrect. For me and other true children of God anyway. The reason I actually try to keep myself away from sin, thanks to the Holy Ghost, is because it is the Will of our Father in Heaven. God never condones sin. He loves the sinner(people/His creation) but hates sin.
We are not taking anything away from our Lord and none of us will ever be "perfect". Jesus Christ was our perfect example and we should try to follow Him. Do you love the Lord or the sins of this world??
I am not posting this to get into an argument. Would you put your soul on the line that it's ok to sin or doesn't matter? Even if I was wrong and I didn't have to repent and strive to separate myself from the sins of this world for the Lord. For me it doesn't matter. I'm not doing it for myself. I do it to honor and glorify our Father. Let your light shine!
Hello everyone,
The answers that I seek are either by prayer, or from Scripture...
However, I write to you for your opinion; so please read the following:
My wife and I found real love after finally finding each other through the fate of God. We have been married for 27 years.
In recent years; our relationship had suffered for many reasons, no blame to either but to both of us.
I could not suffer my wife to leave her nor bear her to suffer the rejection.
So, in my mind; I thought that it would be easier for both if she lost me by death rather than by rejection. So I tempted God and Satan to do their worst.
Then it came to pass that I got an infection in my brain and tried to ride it out to death, but reasoning with myself that this may not bring death but rather a lifelong affliction, I finally went to the hospital and a surgeon performed a cranial and then three months of intravenous antibiotics.
I did not fulfill the curse that I wished for.
Shortly thereafter, my wife was stricken with Alzheimers Dementia. She is 55 years of age and now resides in a Personal Care Home.
I believe this disease was manifested through my sins and tempting God and Satan to do their worst, to me.
Now the ambiguous loss and the guilt that I feel is unbearable. My continued tempting of God and Satan to do their worst to me has come to pass.
My wife has become the victim of my sins and tempting the Powers.
This is truly the worst.
I became born again to pray for my wife and ask God to perform a miracle. Remove the demons from my wife and make her whole again, and forsake me instead.
In conclusion;
I had a dream and a clear voice said to me "This is your cross to bear"
When I looked to the internet to find a meaning for this phrase, the first example displayed was;
"when a family member is diagnosed with Alzheimers, this is your cross to bear."
I truly believe this is the devils work.
Are my prayers lost?
From the very beginning in the bible, water separates or divides from something: Genesis 1: 6, 7.
When God set apart people for himself, he used water to separate you from something to bring you into something else.
In the old testament, Moses and the priest had to wash with water to be sanctified for service.
Want to show how many scriptures(not all) are showing how important baptism is!
Ezekiel 36: 24 - 27:
God takes the unclean, sprinkles clean water on them, and they shall be clean. Puts his Spirit in them and calls them his people!
New Testament:
John the Baptist baptized with water, also baptized Jesus that the scriptures would be fullfilled:
Matthew 3: 11, 16.
John 1: 26 - 33.
Luke 3: 16, 21.
Matthew 28:19:
Teach all nations to baptize in Jesus name.
Mark 16:16:
He that believes and is baptized shall be saved.

John 13:10:
Jesus washed his disciple's feet with water, calling them clean.
John 19:34:

Note:
1 John 5: 6, 8:
Jesus came by WATER and BLOOD.
There are 3 that bear witness in the earth: Spirit, water, and blood. These 3 agree in one.
One what? - One new birth.
