  • Louis Logwood on Ezra 9 - 2 years ago
Reading the Book of Ezra was interesting, encouragement, than felt disappointing. But this is reality of Today we taught to completely our trust in God and will be blessed. Their will be times of disappointments, in our Life's that we as humans can't control. Only realize only God, if we have Faith as a mustard seed. Let God do his will in our lives completely not just on Sunday or Days that Life is going well, but on the Bad days when devil tries to persuade our minds. This one scripture has help me though 4th stage Cancer ..and other Life's consequences. God (Jesus) though his word will get though this Life only if we allow him. Now this is my favorite scripture I lean on during good times and turmoil times . Psalms 30: 1-5 ,1 I will extol thee, O Lord; for hast lifted me up, and has not made my foes( enemies) to rejoice over me.2) O Lord my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.3) O Lord , thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.4) Sing unto the Lord, oh ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.5) For his anger endureth but a moment; IN HIS FAVOR IS LIFE: WEEPING MAY ENDURE FOR A NIGHT , BUT JOY COME IN THE MORNING. It's not capitalize it's just very important to me. If we look at what King David went Thu and problems he brought on himself, Life problems that came his way. That one thing he did was being humble in the eyesight of GOD. Now if God will do that For Ezra & King David why can't do it for us.Have a blessed Life.

God Bless Everyone,...I just wanted to express my self about this New Covenant...I don't think we need a Church building anymore under the New Covenant....This NEW COVENANT IS Christ with in you...The H.G. is now our internal pastor that neva sleeps or goes wrong on doctrine or Salvation issues....He that keeps ISRAEL DOES NOT SLEEP...We cannot trust man...We can only trust God which is the Gift of God the H.G....( I am according to thy wish in Gods stead ) ...I think this is prophetic of the H.G. The Gift of God..The Child of Promise...Abide in me and i in you...We need no man teach us the anointing we have received of him will teach us all things....And lead us into all truth..As Jesus said when he the spirit of truth is come he will reprove the world of sin judgement and righteousness etc..But he cannot speak of himself simply b/c he has to be born in us via that good seed the words of the Sower.... Just a spritual infant..and infants cannot speak for a while....Unless you receive the Kingdom of God as a lil Child..an infant a new born...That New Born babe desiring the sincere milk of the word is the H.G. the Child of Promise...As Jesus said that which is born of the spirit is spirit....Thus the Spirits can be born in us which is the H.G. that Child of Promise that is born in us via the good seed the living words...living beings an Israel of God that is gonna be as the stars of heaven in multitudes...Remember that great Promise...When God swore by himself...which are Gods as Jesus said to whom the word came it made them Gods and the scripture cannot be broken...Jesus/God is the father of spirits.. Hebrews 12 ...Thats y Isaiah 9:6 calls him everylasting father...The H.G. cannot be born in us without his seed...Thats y he has to know us..Thats when that good seed is Sown in our hearts initiating a birth of Christ in us..ok lemme go...love you all dearly...GBU...Unto us a Child is born which is the H.G...The Kingdom has to come via a seed...The words of the book.

Why have you not mentioned Rosh before Meshech in Ezekiel 38 verse 2.

Have you done it intentionally or is it by mistake? Please cross check it and correct it.

    Thank you.

We will never completely understand God, But he is not energy, he created it. We will never completely understand how this is possible, but I trust God on this one.

A church really does not need a Physical Pastor....Thats y God gives us the gift of the H.G...An internal Pastor....Which is the gift of the H.G. That Jesus said wd abide with us forever ...Abide in me and i in you...No pun intented ..Just a fact...Thats y there are a zillion different Churches on almost every Corner....No body has the real H.G....We are still in that time of dakness Jesus warns us about...The night ( darkness ) comes when no man can work...And isaiah tells us that darkness will cover the earth and gross darkness the ppl...

As I proclaim my walk and relationship in CHRIST, it is not to defend myself or my way of life, but rather to simply declare the truth about JESUS in a way people could understand. Stephen did the same when he stood before the council.

I am not called to make you understand nor called to make you accept the gospel of the LORD JESUS CHRIST. However, my main job is to proclaim it and pray for the seed to be planted deep. What a person does with the proclamation is their own responsibility.

Through and because of CHRIST JESUS my LORD I have a better promise than land, Jerusalem; or the temple, Solomon's or the tabernacle.

I am endowed with the HOLY SPIRIT, a promised mansion, and a most spectacular life with my SAVIOR the LORD GOD JESUS CHRIST for all eternity in heaven.

    GOD bless everyone. Numbers 6: 24- 26

Jesus describes what being faithful means! Using business , and what it means to be faithful in much and least.

He hits the mark , opening the hearts and minds of a nation of people who have been depressed, chased after, and even killed. A Jewish nation that would become dependent, one upon one another, teaching these truths to their children , that they may never forget ,even now today, a Nation and its will to survive!

How true , that in the midst of a unbelieving world, these the children of God rely on one another. A nation that because of its history, their will to survive will once again sharpen the steel that shall divide both body and soul. A steel that will do the harvesting that is to come! The steel that will separate the wheat from the tares. The faithful from the unfaithful!

We as Gentiles ,many who have been grafted into this Nation, are part of this chosen generation. Gentiles who know the history and the sacrifices unto God, who is the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ!

We are all stewards in these things that pertain to heaven, we are responsible for these things known and these things that shall be revealed!

If not for Christ, we should never beg, but shall be forever in His Grace, looking forward to do His business, reaping where He has not sown!

Being found faithful both in that which is most, and that which is least! These things given freely unto those who love Him!

    Repent and be baptized

Hi William. Habakkuk is basically divided into three main sections: Habakkuk's two questions to God: 1) 1:2-4 and God's Answer (1:8-11); and 2) 1:12-2:1 and God's Answer (2:2-20).

And the third section (of which you enquired) is Habakkuk's praise of God. And in this section we see that as result of hearing from God & receiving answers to his perplexing questions, Habakkuk gives his worship & praise to: a) the Person of God (3:1-3); b) the Power of God (3:4-7); c) the Purpose of God (3:8-16); and d) the Provision of God (3:17-19).

    Brief details on Section 3:

    a. Habakkuk was satisfied that God's ways were perfect, even though not always comprehended by man.

    b. God's Power was seen in brilliant Light & the 'horns' (flashing rays) from His Hand; which power was executed in His Judgements in days gone by.

    c. God's dealings in the past are indicative of what He will do in the future against His enemies. His salvation will be seen: the salvation of His people.

    d. Even though the land would be stripped of its beauty & sustaining power due to the Babylonian invasion, Habakkuk still found reason to rejoice in God who would give him strength & certain confidence for the future.

And hopefully, this prophetic message with the prophet's courage & assurance, would have given some hope to the soon to be exiled of Judah, that their deliverance would come in spite of their present punishment & devastation of their homes & land.

Hi John. You may be thinking of 1 Corinthians 13:1-3, where the KJV translates the Greek word 'ean' as the word "though", but the better translation should be, 'if'. The word 'though' is acceptable & correct in English expression, but in modern usage, 'if' brings out Paul's intention more accurately. So the gifts & graces he mentions in those verses are not necessarily his possession, at least to their fullest extent, and I sense that Paul is rather emphasizing the gift of love superseding all of them & that love gives weight to whatever gifts are bestowed on believers. Paul was never referred to as a prophet (i.e. as a title), though with "the abundance of revelations", I would think that much of his teachings & letters had great prophetical value in light of what was earlier given by the Lord Jesus to His disciples.

Hello Patricia. As you have read this chapter ( Isaiah 51), verses 1 to 8 reveal the promises & comfort of the LORD to His people. But then from verses 9 to 11, it appears that Isaiah is prophesying on behalf of the people, as they call out to the LORD:

"Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. Art thou not it that hath cut Rahab, and wounded the dragon? Art thou not it which hath dried the sea, the waters of the great deep; that hath made the depths of the sea a way for the ransomed to pass over? Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away."

So in these verses (vv 9-11), there is recollection of the old days when the LORD wonderfully saved Israel from the bondage of Egypt. So, Rahab here is not a person but is representative of Egypt and the wounded dragon, Pharaoh. Then the LORD speaks in verse 15, "But I am the LORD thy God, that divided the sea, whose waves roared: The LORD of hosts is his name." The LORD continues to comfort & assure His people. Also, see a similar thought being expressed by Ethan the Ezrahite in Psalm 89:8-10.

    Re Matthew

3batches of 14 generations=42 generations, with Jesus being number 42(implied). But counting the generators puts Jesus as no. 41 NOT. 42(count the generators and see Jesus as no.41)

THERE'S a MISSING GENERATOR!Who is the missing generator?

My claim is that, because each member of the church is directed to REACH ONE TO ADD TO THE BODY OF CHRIST.WE ARE THE MISSING GENERATION!..Each one REACH ONE.This makes sense further since many single believers can't be a generator due to their singleness!

What say you to this missing generator must be included to get the 42 generators?

    Brother Paul:

New York City and every other city that has, and will exist, is the whore that rides the Beast, that includes you and I and everyone who has lived and is yet to live. All mankind is the whore, we're unfaithful to the word of God, until we are born of TRUTH.

The Beast is as real as it gets:

Daniel 7:7 ...and behold a forth beast........

The forth beast is the Kingdom of God. This Beast arrived when John the Baptist came preaching the kingdom of God.

Luke 16:16 The law and the prophets were until John: since that time, the kingdom of God is preached, and every man PRESSED INTO IT.

Revelation 14:19 And the angel thrust his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great WINEPRESS of the wrath of God.

God is going to PRESS all mankind until:

Galatians 14:19 .... Christ be formed IN YOU.

    God Bess You.

    Dear Kimberly

I will pray for your aunt Bonnie and Cody.

Dear Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus we come tonight and ask of You for miraculous healing of both Bonnie and Cody of cancer. Take it all away for each of these precious people You made for Your glory. Guide their doctors and make any and all treatments be successful in eliminating every cancer cell in their body. Strengthen their immune systems and organ systems so that they will lose any susceptibility to any recurrence of cancer in the future. We are asking for total healings in both Bonnie and Cody. Lord, they need Your help above that of the doctors and treatments. We know that Your will is perfect. So, we trust You and lay these two people in Your hands. Amen.

    Amber, to continue.

His death pays the just penalty for all the seins of man. He took our punishment for us. The Father poured out His wrath for the sins of man onto Jesus on the cross so that all of them were paid in full by Jesus' sacrifice. Also, all of our sins were nailed to the cross, completely removed from us. His sacrifice ransomed us from hell (which we justly deserved) and redeemed us from the curse of being a "law-breaker"-which is death and eternal punishment. His sacrifice made atonement to God the Father for our sins-he opened the way for us to be reconciled to the Father.

His resurrection secures for us our justification before the Father in that we stand before Him with the righteousness of Christ imputed to us (made ours to keep) and all of our sins are remembered no more. His resurrection gives us life after death, too. So we will have eternal life from the time we are saved throughout eternity.

Our entire salvation is secured to us through these things that Jesus did for us once and for all. It is because of Jesus' death and resurrection that anyone can have salvation. All we need to be saved is what Jesus did for us.

The Holy Spirit does His effectual work in each person to bring them to believe this about Jesus' life, death and resurrection. He makes a change is us so that we can come to the Father through Jesus Christ, our Savior.

The Father accepts all who are given the salvation of Jesus by the working of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, our One True God does all the saving for us. We simply believe and receive what has been done for us by our Great God. The Holy Spirit dwells in every believer from the time He regenerates one and remains in believers for all eternity.

Amber, this is the truth of salvation. If you have faith to believe the Gospel and trust in Jesus, you can know for certain that you are indeed saved. It is a gift of God for us to receive. If you believe the Gospel and trust in Jesus, you have been reconciled to God.
  • GiGi - In Reply - 2 years ago
Dear Amber, I am so sorry that you are feeling so unsure of your salvation. Here is what I know about being saved. Hope this reassures you.

Only those who are drawn to God by the Holy Spirit are saved. He calls and chooses us before we are able to believe in Him for salvation.

Every person is spiritually dead due to sin. So a spiritually dead person cannot seek God for salvation. Our sinfulness makes us enemies of God and His righteousness. We can never make ourselves good enough to earn or merit the salvation He offers. Nor can we repent enough to have our sins forgiven, that is trying to not sin so that we can be forgiven.

Our salvation comes to us because God wants us to be saved! How good is that! At the right time in our lives, the Holy Spirit makes us spiritually alive again by a sovereign, miraculous work of God. This is called regeneration. When this happens, the Holy Spirit then draws one to God. He births faith in a newly regenerated person so that this person can now believe what the Scriptures say is how one is saved.

The Holy Spirit also gives us repentance from our sinful lives and a desire to live God's way. All these things God does for and in us as a working of His mercy and grace. It all is a gift from God, not of our own effort. After we are given faith, The Holy Spirit then makes it so that we will either read or hear the Gospel message of Jesus-His Person, Life, and Work that brings us salvation. By God's decree, the Gospel message is empowered by the Holy Spirit to convince us that it is true and necessary for me to embrace. When this happens, we can say that we have been born again, or converted. We can say with confidence that we are now a believer in Jesus and are saved.

Our salvation was accomplished for us when Jesus, who is God who became man to live the perfect life no man could ever live and to suffer and die to take away all of our sins, was crucified, died and was buried. On the third day, he arose from the dead,

  • PROPHECY - In Reply on Job 41 - 2 years ago
    Wolfthis_1:

I don't have to do research, it is not the Beast.

Revelation is the revealing of Jesus Christ, not something in the future, Revelation is the mystery of entering the Kingdom of God, it's relevant to every person who studies, it has the same meaning to the person studying 1900 years ago as anyone studying today. The Beast then is the same Beast today and will be the same Beast 2000 years from now. The answers are through God's word, most in the law and prophets, it's not a free ride you have to study God's word and ask the holy Spirit to give you wisdom and understanding, and to repent of the teaching of man.

1 John 2:27 But the anointing ye have received of him abideth in you, and you need not that any man teach you; but the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it has taught you, ye shall abide in him.

    God Bless you.

It's the book that the "Faithful and Wise servant" receives at the end times after Christianity becomes like Judaism had become in Jesus' 1st coming. Then the "faithful and wise servant" goes and prophesies again to the nations, and pulls the faithful out... "Come out of her, my people!"

*Son of God, not God the Father... Colosians 1, First born of all creation. You can find Jesus mentioned as "Wisdom" in Proverbs 8, you can find Him as one of the "3 men" who comes to Abraham before the destrution of Sodom. You can read where it says "My Lord rained down fire and brimstone, from the Lord out of heaven." Jesus was also wrestling with Jacob. Jesus changed Oshea's name to Joshua before entering the promised land. And many other times Jesus, as the TRUE son of God, was on the Earth carrying out God the Father's will all through out the old testament. And of course, in Genesis One, "Let US make man in OUR image..." etc...
