In the Bible they say things in there that I simply don't agree with. They act as though God was a being with emotional ranges. Love is love, nothing more! In it's pure form as God is, there is no room for other emotions. Because for God love and motion is what God is! He is the light of the greatest love. Unconditional love! Look at the prodigal son. We are taught that possessions and materialism are not Godly things, they are of our design, not his. How can one own the land? How can one own the sky? Yet we do, so say are evil governments. Too much hypocrisy is in the Bible. It was wrote by man to control man! There is however much good in the Bible. Mostly the words in red for me. And mostly from Matthew. Matthew was the only apostle that could read and write. Therefore I believe those words. The words in the Old testament, will put down in a way that wasn't meant for us to live. Jesus tells us that. I guess for me I'll still be searching! The answers aren't always just in the Bible. It's in nature and all that surrounds us. It's the Earth itself that God created. Not the bridges that man built.
One must believe too see!.
Zachariah , even so a man of God, questioned the Angel before him.
What did this man of God think as the incense covered the alter , as He prayed wondering if what He saw was real?!
Gabriel would convince Zachariah by shutting His mouth until Johns birth.
Zachariah would not be able to speak.
The spiritual kingdom is the kingdom Christ consecrated, when He died and was resurrected.
It is a place where the angels of God reside and do the will of God.
Zachariah is the example of what can happen to those who are spoken too by the spiritual!
If we shut our mouths long enough , you too will see the mysteries of God!
Repent and be Baptized
Neither is there a "j" sound in greek? So how does Yeshua get translated Jesus ?
......Remember the marriage supper of the lamb...He does not want us going a whoring after materialistic things
or even the honor that comes from man...We must love him with all our hearts, minds, souls n strength, ...Nothin less
then our complete cooporation is exceptable of HIM....The Spirit and the flesh are gonna be made 1 which is the essence of a mariage....GBU Julie
I agree, that 'jealousy' is normally understood as a sin, but when we see it applied to God's Character, then we can understand that the meaning changes. When we see verses such as Exodus 34:14, Joel 2:18, & Zechariah 8:2, then we can better appreciate God's Nature - that He is not as a man is. I understand that this word has at its base, God's Character; not jealous in nature, but because of Who God is & His righteous demands upon His creation.
When we read that God "is jealous for Zion", or "the Lord revengeth, for He is a jealous God", or "jealous for His holy Name", we see that His Character, His Holiness will not be compromised when evil abounds. If God overlooked sin & let Israel do whatever they wanted, then God would betray Who He is, thus He 'jealously' guards the Holiness of His Person & metes out justice when due.
And when He is "jealous for Zion", it shows that Zion is His special possession & He will always look upon her with affection & protect her. In today's terms, we could say that 'a country (insert yours here) is jealous of her freedom', indicating that this jealousy is good because the freedom now enjoyed has come through much pain & suffering. Since it was so costly, it should be guarded so strongly (or, jealously). So, I hope you can appreciate the 'other' uses of this word.
Peace and love in Jesus name, Mark 13 God bless us all in His Holy name forever.
You can enter a scripture in Google like:
Psalm 34:4, meaning or history or teaching or commentaries
And the sites I choose have BIBLE in their link
Like: BibleRef, BibleHub, I choose those for study
Mark 13: 32-37
God bless us in Jesus name, love u in Christ.
At first when I started reading in Genesis, heading towards the back, at times I thought God was mean. Finally I ran into the New Testament and I learned the Bible through the person of Jesus. Son of God. Things began to come together. God is our Father. In Hebrew He is our Abba (Daddy). He's full bore in love with us and wants us to love Him as much as He loves us. He saved me from certain death numerous times; He sent the angels to rescue me from all kinds of things. I do not worship angels because the Bible says not to.
I say this with every ounce of love in my heart__lay down all of your past experiences (like I had to), lay it at His feet, and take firm hold on Jesus. Jesus died on a cross for us. If that's not Love, I don't know what else is. If you will take steps towards Him, he will close up the distance. If Jesus says God is Love, why would he make it up?
I don't think comparisons are useful, regarding this church or that church. What matters is that you find peace in your soul, and the love of your Father in Heaven.
It's about choices. Jesus said, Follow Me. He didn't say follow Peter, Paul, or a Pope. His disciples wrote the Bible on scrolls, which almost all of them have been found in Israel recently. Stories online with photos. Grant Jeffery went on many of those digs. He's deceased now. Nelson Walters continues the searches. Look him up on youtube.
Israel will not allow those artifacts go out of country.
The end times are here. Decisions are being made. I always thought Christians would see the beginning of the Tribulation, and we are. It's hard to change gears. Religion is man-made. We were all called to follow Jesus alone. We are His people. He said He would build His Church in His Followers. Get a KJV and study with us.

So the introduction of Church membership, to be an accepted recognized member of the Church, given voting rights, able to partake at the Lord's Table, be water baptized & other rulings as seen fit, are purely at the discretion of the Church leadership to fulfil their own requirements or standards. It seems that it's another level of ensuring some certainty of those deemed worthy to be a recognized part of that particular meeting.
Is this biblical? No. Is this then incorrect? A personal decision from you whether those conditions are acceptable or even to attend a Fellowship where such rules are imposed. From a personal standpoint & as one born again for 43 years, I have never been a Church member; or when asked to become one, have given them a response as here (i.e. it is unbiblical). On the matter of water baptism, you would know your situation, if you haven't been baptized. But to be baptized just to become a Church member, would be wrong.

43 He trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him : for he said I am the Son of God .
46 Jesus cried with a loud voice, My God , My God why hast thou forsaken me ?
Yes we know God did deliver Jesus 3 days later . Amen !
When the Canon of Scripture was formed, this book alongwith others, were considered suspect for various reasons (e.g. authorship, incorrect teaching when compared with accepted Scriptures, etc.). Not to say that there's no truth within them, but the fact of some errors within them, should give warning to either approach them carefully or not refer to them at all.
10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
I saw a twitter post using Ecclesiacticus 2:1. While I agree with the statement the verse makes, still it is not in the King James Version, mine or any other KJV I've ever read.
Note: John 6:7 note the last part of that scripture says clearly "._._. is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little. "
Regardless of amount of money, even clear understanding of money amounts for time, inflation, price gouging, sales, shortage etc. Historical understanding doesn't say what GOD's scripture does about the message He is saying to us.
1st John 6:6 "And this he said to prove him, for he himself knew what he would do."
It was Philip Jesus was talking to: John 6:5, & Phillip who answered: John 6:7, his answer was about financial calculation, earnings, lack, almost as if money was the only answer he had. Remember it was to prove him. When we see " impossibilities" where's our faith & solutions?
Matthew 14:13-21, Matthew 15:29-39, Mark 6:30-44, Luke 9:12-17,
Note Matthew 15:32-33,
In each account Jesus had healed all the sick.
Hopefully this is helpful
Abraham made a baby with his wife Sarah's handmaid.
The prophet Samuel's mother Hannah was one of two wives.
The God of ancient Israel approved of such things; even if you don't.
The law of Moses says a man must make babies with his brother's widow if they didn't make a baby before he passed.
Acts 13:22,
David obeyed his father 1Samuel 16:11, 1Samuel 17:15,17,18,
David protected the sheep, & defended Israel, risking his life 1Samuel 17:34-37, 1Samuel 17:45-52,
David served even though he was anointted king , 1Samuel 16:1,13,21,23, John 13:3-15,
Jesus being the perfect example.
This Psalm says 2Samuel 22:1, is when GOD delivered David from death by king Saul's doing. If we go into scripture of that time. King saul had promised David his daughter in marriage at, 1Samuel 17:25, please read 1Samuel 17, through- 2Samuel 1, to get understanding of what David went through from Saul, he had one wife at the time he was finally given one by Saul that Saul later gave to another man. Abigal was the widow of Nabal.
Looking at the lineage Abraham & Israel possibly set the example of multiple wives, which was trouble to them, in Genesis, yes Isaac appears to have one wife. It didn't go well with David's household. These are examples also to cultures that believe in multiple wives.
Adultery is sin against someone else's spouse. If one or both are married to someone else. Etc.
I believe the scripture is pointing out David's innocent claims about being upright in his own mind because he didn't take revenge, jump the timing of his kingship, nor kill Saul when he had the chance. Please read, 1Samuel 24,
Hopefully these are all helpful
So sorry you had these cramps in your legs. But it seems that the Lord indeed turned it around for your good, teaching you through this trial to call on Him and acknowledge Him and His sovereignty. Be blessed today, FREE.
