    Dear Ronnette

There are important beliefs/doctrines in Christianity that are necessary for salvation like the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. But there are many insignificant ones that if one believes it this way and somebody else otherwise, it doesn't really matter. The date Jesus was crucified is not of any importance, and probably we shouldn't have spent so much time on it. Whether you believe it was Thurday or Wednesday or Friday doesn't change anything in your spiritual life. When we say that the truth will set one free we mainly mean that the truth which is that Jesus Christ was crucified for our sins and resurrected for our justification will set us free of our sins and from spiritual death. We can not generalize it for any disagreement we have with others. When you say that Jesus was crucified on Wednesday, that of what has it set you free personally? So I think you understand. There is a verse in Romans that says that the kingdom of God is not food or drink but peace, love and righteousness in the Holly Spirit. If you eat meat or not, if you drink wine or not has not any positive or negative consequence in your spir. life. Another scripture says that in Christ circumsision or not circumsision is nothing but new creation (is important). This doesn't mean that we can do or believe anything we like but there are important and insignificant things in Christ. One has to, as you say, rightly divide these things.

Another thing I would like to tell you is that the belief some have that all the millions of Christians that live now and the millions that lived in the past 2 th. years were useless really and had wrong beliefs and God chose us personally among those many millions to reveal His Truth is very dangerous. It's not only us in the faith. There are many millions of us who love God and look for the truth. Sorry to talk to you like this but I often find myself thinking in this way, and this is wrong. Again no offense meant. God bless you

Correct, but this is done Spiritually while in silent prayer. Just like donning the Armor of God, one can't physically put it on, but one can do this act in their mind or spiritually, hidden from sight, but it's there.

See, the Kingdom of God is within you, you are the Temple, therefore, once a person stops looking at these parables as literal, but instead looks for the hidden meaning, the spiritual meaning that applies directly to the self, not the World stage, but Jerusalem is an aspect of you, Abraham is an aspect of you, Egypt is an aspect of you... then these storied develop into relevant psychological events that depict a phase of the nature of man vs the spirit in man.

    So back to the You are the Temple of the Living God. That must mean what was in the Temple then, must be in you now... IF my theory is correct. Well, lets see. Is there an altar above fire? Define Fornix etymology...{search}

    fornix (n.)

from 1680s in reference to various arched formations (especially in anatomy), from Latin fornix "arch, vaulted chamber, cellar, vaulted opening," probably an extension, based on appearance, from a source akin to fornus "brick oven of arched or domed shape" (from PIE root *gwher- "to heat, warm").

    Is there a White Horse that Jesus appears on? Define Hippocampus {search}

    hippocampus (n.)

    c. 1600, a kind of sea monster, part horse and part dolphin or fish, often pictured pulling Neptune's chariot, from Late Latin hippocampus, from Greek hippokampos, from hippos "horse" (from PIE root *ekwo- "horse") + kampos "a sea monster," which is perhaps related to kampe "caterpillar." Used from 1570s as a name of a type of fish (the seahorse); of a part of the brain from 1706, on supposed resemblance to the fish.

2 for 2, and there is so much more... The Olives symbol refers to the medulla oblongata.

To wrap up I quote Jesus Luke 11:52

Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered

    Hi SwordBearer,

I agree with much of what you've posted: God is Love, the Kingdom of God is within you, the psychological war that takes place in your mind, it all ends and begins with your mind.

1John 4:7-8 "God is Love", "love is of God". If God is fear and hate also, then the door is open to the probability God's opposite, Satan is capable of love and hate also. I question though whether an opposite to God in truth/reality can even exist. Is there anything that can usurp the power of God, thwart His Will or separate His creations from the Love of Christ, even temporarily? To this I would say that God is not the author of fear, I am. I have chosen in my human mind to create unlike Him, and therefore have made fear for myself. I will continue to refer to James 3:11-12. The principle established here is things produce like things, i.e. Love creates Itself and nothing but Itself, Holiness Itself, Perfection Itself, Innocence Itself, Spirit Itself ( John 3:6). They have nothing in common with fear/hate, unholiness, imperfections, guilt, and flesh. To have faith in these opposites is a confused dualistic thinking mind. The water (truth) you mentioned is the same water in which one will never thirst again, John 4, and it cannot be contaminated with salt (lies), again James 3; which results in diluted truth. Yet James says that they can't flow from the same spring (mind). Thus it is obvious the impurities (salt) must be from my own mind.

Everything that exists in reality, and that which SEEMS to be real (truth), but isn't, is from the Mind of God or from a false opposing mind (mine), respectively. The source of everything, real or false is from Mind/mind, i.e. everything comes from thought; it is an idea. The mind can make the belief in separation from God very real and very fearful, and this belief is the "devil". It is powerful, active, destructive, and clearly in opposition to God because because it literally denies His Fatherhood.

    to be continued...

There is information about the Apocrypha books and their position, within this site; I cannot verify the accuracy, but it is something, and here is a sample:The apocrypha is a selection of books which were published in the original 1611 King James Bible. These apocryphal books were positioned between the Old and New Testament (it also contained maps and geneologies). The apocrypha was a part of the KJV for 274 years until being removed in 1885 A.D. A portion of these books were called deuterocanonical books by some entities, such as the Catholic church.

    Books of the Apocrypha

    1 Esdras

    2 Esdras

    Tobit

    Judith

    Additions to Esther

    Wisdom of Solomon

    Ecclesiasticus

    Baruch

    Letter of Jeremiah

    Prayer of Azariah

    Susanna

    Bel and the Dragon

    Prayer of Manasseh

    1 Maccabees

    Adam,

I do agree that we all need to be careful on what's being told to us, not only on this forum, but even in church.

However, if someone is just giving an opinion, why would they need scriptural proof to back up their opinion? An opinion is just that, an opinion. An opinion does not require proof. Now on the other hand, if someone is trying to give you a "Thus saith the Lord," and they don't back it up with scripture, that's a whole new story. But why scripture for just an opinion?

You say, "God is love but satan is evil and ppl will do evil things. God will only tolerate this up to a point," and you give no scripture for that, so are we to believe you are staying your opinion?

Please don't be upset by my reply. I just wanted to know why scripture backup is needed for an opinionated post?

The book of Jasher was mentioned 2X as in Joshua 10:13 and 2 Samuel 1:18

The rest in my opinion are all pagan book. The KJV Bible is enough information for us to go to heaven. Read many comments here and many will give you their own opinion and interpretations. It is up to individual to do the study 2 Timothy 2:15-16..

Thank you so much for this site. I use it daily for my reading and to pray for those in need. It truly helps me get through the day after my morning prayer and study from my bible (KJV). Plus, I'm sharing it with my oldest son as well and he too is getting stronger in Christ! He used to be satanist so thank you, thank y'all so so much!!

    Part 2

    Correction:

    2 Peter 1:20-21

20Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

21For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

What a great Intelligent Designer God and author we have. The Bible has full of righteous and true information. We are all reading the same KJV Bible.

    Romans 16:17-18

Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

Yes, I do have a question. I would like to know where the following books would be placed in the volume (Genesis and Revelations) of the Bible: Apocrypha, Book of Enoch, Book of Jasher, and the Book of Jubilees. Thank you

    Sister GiGi:

    Words for THOUGHT:

Mark 8:34 .....Whosoever will come after me, let him DENY HIMSELF, and take up HIS CROSS daily, and follow me.

John 19:17 And he BEARING HIS CROSS went forth to a place called the skull ....

The CROSS, that Christ bore and the cross we bear is not made of WOOD.

Simon bore the WOODEN CROSS; that sinful flesh DIED ON: Christ cross, and our cross, is much heavier; it takes the KNOWLEDGE of the Father to bear that cross.

    God Bless YOU!

    Dear Michael,

You, indeed, have had a hard life. I will pray for you today.

Dear Heavenly Father, Look upon Michael today and give Him renewed strength, health, and a happy heart. Bring financial blessing to Michael in a miraculous way so that he can look to retire with comfort after all of these years of hard work and poverty. You alone can bring this about, Lord God, so we ask this of You in the name of Your Son, Jesus, in whom are all of the treasures and riches of inestimable worth. Amen.

    Dear SwordBearer,

Blessings to you today. From your post it sounds like you are at odds with your religious upbringing.

I think that God places each of us in the family to the parents He chooses. That is why we are to honor our father and mother.

If you were brought up in a Christian home, I hope that you will indeed study each of the tenets of faith taught to you growing up and hold it up to the Scriptures. That is what every believer should do as they mature into adulthood. Most who have been raised in a Christian environment will find some of these tenets hold true to Scripture and some are not quite accurate to what Scripture teaches. Thus we correct our thinking in light of what the Scriptures reveal.

I hope that both of us will be given discernment in the truth of Scriptures as adults in how we understand the doctrines of the faith that are spoken too by the apostles in the Scripture.

I did a thorough study on when Jesus died. It was very interesting that men follows the traditions of men. Paul already warned us in Colossians 2:8

I personally confirmed that Jesus died on Wednesday. Just as the pattern of a wonderful God has created a day, so understanding that a day starts in the evening and the morning Genesis 1:5. Then next a great God gave the Jews a great and only sign of Jonah 1:17 and Matthew 12:40 a prophetic sign of when Jesus will die, buried and resurrected for 3 days and 3 nights. Our God is such a great Intelligent Designer so that the true believers will not be deceived tossed to and fro ( Ephesians 4:14) by any so-called Religious Christian Deceivers. So by knowing this you will know who is lying to you and to stay away from this cult. Revelation 18:4

It was also a perfect match on the day of Passover and the Sabbath. Noticed the day Mary went to the tomb and her preparation of her spices. I will leave a room for you to study.

So anybody says Jesus died on Friday, it is fake news they are making you a merchandised 2 Peter 2:3; Revelation 18:11; Revelation 18:12 Stay away immediately if they do not listen to the truth. The truth will set you free. John 14:6. The greatest and intelligent thing God said is that there is no other interpretation in the word of God. So if you do not get it you must be a lost person and not saved or just not reading your Bible enough. I do want ALL to be saved 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. I just hate the Nicolaitans (2X) Revelations 2:6; Revelation 2:15. Beware of many modern Pharisees.

Main thing is that we true believers 1 John4:2-3; 2 John 1:7 should not be divided 1 Corinthians 1:10; Luke 11:17. We need each other Romans 12:4; 1 Corinthians 12:12 & 20

We are truly in the last days. Psalms 2:1-12. God wants everybody to understand The Word of God. Many of you will not believe. It is expected. Many will meet Jesus in the cloud 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 and 1 Corinthians 15:50-58. See you soon.

    Hello Luke,

I believe that our resurrected bodies will be like Jesus' resurrected body with flesh and bones, as He said in Luke 24:39-39. Jesus rose in the same body that He died in, yet it was changed, though remaining physical as well as glorified. We will be raised in the same bodies we had before we died, yet will be as Jesus' body was at His resurrection, physical, yet glorified. In 1 Corinthians 15 it says that we will have a celestial body, not a terrestrial (which is corrupted by sin). Our bodies will be incorruptible in the resurrection and also immortal. It says: it is sown a natural body and raised a spiritual body. It also says in vs. 49 that we will bear the image of the heavenly Man (Jesus). so to me this says that our bodies will be like the risen body of Jesus.

I don't think that beyond these scriptural references we can really know much else definitively about our resurrection bodies.

I just look at what Scripture says and take it by faith.

    Jack, nice to meet you.

In John 19:17 it says that Jesus bore His own cross on the way to Golgotha. Simon, at some point along the way, was pressed into helping to carry the cross.

Perhaps the cross was carried in two pieces, the post and the cross bar and two people were needed to carry both pieces. But in any instance, This passage in Scripture says that Jesus bore His own cross on the way to Golgotha.

As to Jesus being unable to carry it due to being too weak, if Jesus was only human, this could be true. But, since Jesus was also God, He had all the strength He needed to carry His cross all the way to Golgotha despite how weak He was physically in His humanness from the scourging and the beating.
  • GiGi again - In Reply - 3 years ago
Hello Jack, nice to meet you.

In John 19:17 it says that Jesus bore His cross on the way to Golgotha. The other gospels say that Simon was asked to carry it. So, in my understanding, Jesus did carry His cross, but Simon was pressed into service to help Him. At some point, maybe Jesus was too weak to carry it, but I think, since He is God an man, that He did carry it all the way because though weak in his humanity, He had the power in His divinity to carry it all the way. The soldiers asked Simon to help, not Jesus.

Perhaps the cross was carried in two parts, the post and cross piece. So, perhaps Jesus carried one part and Simon carried the other.

This chapter; for example in verse 6 shows the importance of enduring until the end. Verse 12 asks us to take heed in case an evil heart has us depart from God. Perseverance until the end is repeated in verse 14; with the example o Israel in the desert being largely rejected in verse 15 once again hammering home the theme of this chapter.

This isn't exactly "politically correct" in reformed circles; or anywhere else for that matter (for those who always want encouraging scripture verses; for instance who we will keep anonymous). First of all; "assurance of salvation" isn't relying on "fire insurance" to keep us out of hell; and if we are elect and chosen then indeed we will heed the warnings. We need to comprehend through the indwelling Holy Spirit the hopelessness of our state; which should only be magnified after we are truly "Born Again". This almost mystic one time salvation prayer certainly can't be relied on to bring a foreign righteousness alien to our own human nature if there is no transformation of our hearts. Our society which once found it expedient to have a "Judeo-Christian" moral code has no interest in a "form of godliness denying the power thereof" ( 2 Tim. 3:5). Those who are tares will never endure to the end; and those lukewarm likewise will be stripped of any viable testimony with our whole society at such an advanced state of sinful decline ripe for judgment.

The other issue is that even among apparently doctrinally sound churches today there is little dogmatic preaching on the reality of hell. When you hear the gospel being proclaimed it is nice although rare hearing those who are emphatic about what they are saved from; which often intersects with those who are not warning if the Tribulation wrath and sufferings coming after the Rapture. When we study about Christ our living Head ( Colossians 1:18) and we see how they tried to kill him 10 times before His death as well as the Apostles we see the expected result of Godly lives

Actually, The mortal man must (put on) Immortality

1 Corinthians 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

1 Corinthians 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

God bless you Michael . Know that you are not alone . Many people in this world are suffering in similar ways to you . However , you are a Christian , you know the Truth , God knows you and is with you . Open your heart to Him and pray to Him and read His Word . Don't be afraid of this world and the things in it . Get your heart and mind right with God and trust in Him . In this life you may have nothing , so what ! In the world to come you will be a treasure if you stay strong stick with God talk to Him and ask for His help . Sometimes you have to wait for an answer . Be patient and recognise when He is offering you help . Thank Him and trust Him and wait for Him . May God bless you and provide for all your daily needs in this life and in the world to come .
  • Richard H Priday on Revelation 3 - 3 years ago
Verses 1 through 5 relate to Sardis; with a rather vague condemnation of works not "perfect" as stated in verse 2. Clearly; sin was involved as the "garments were not stained" who would walk before Christ in white because they are worthy as verse 4 indicates. This would seem to be a subset of those who eventually will overcome as verse 5 indicates. Verse 3 shows that those who don't watch and wait as Luke 21:36 exhorts will have Christ return (probably the rapture) when they don't expect. It would seem that those would be the ones left behind; but still are saved as we note that they have garments but they are defiled. Those unsaved wouldn't be clothed in any spiritual garments. This is of course controversial; but it seems that few will wake up in time for the rapture. The alternative to that is that they will stand at the Bema seat and suffer loss ( 1 Cor. 3:15). One thing is for sure; those who do believe will be martyred and this in large part proves their faithfulness. Some are given white robes in Revelation 6:11; Revelation 7:14 seems to indicate robes made white by martyrdom; however. The question whether robes and garments are the same could be asked. Perhaps the best thing that can be taken here is that we must die to self daily and be ready for martyrdom; which comes largely from not fearing death. Only through the Spirit can we do this! We do well also to heed to ongoing persecutions and pray daily for our brethren.

Next the Philadelphia church and Laodiceans are brought up as polar opposites in many ways.

The theme of "patience" in verse 10 is repeated throughout many N.T. and even O.T. passages as characteristic of those faitfully waiting for the Lord's return going about their business. ( Luke 19:13). Overcomers once again even in this church are promised a future blessing (in this case to sit with Him in His throne). Spuing them out certainly once again sounds like being cast into the Tribulation. Let the reader pray and decide.

    Continued:

    Yehshua also said Revelation 6:11

"And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled."

so for those who think they are going to be whisked away are deluded to think so. Understand the rapture is at the END of the Millennium the 1000 years.

only those saved during the tribulation will have our Creators MARK IN THEIR FOREHEADS (Mind) basically what you believe to be true.

    Revelation 7:3

"Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads." 144,000 first fruits

i believe from scripture that number of first fruits is 153 the parable of the fish caught in the net John 21:11

I believe the number gathered is 33.333% of the world population

    Jeremiah 31:34

"And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more."

These are the people that the ALMIGHTY will protect under HIS WINGS during the tribulation.

Yehshua said in MATTHEW Elijah will come first RESTORE ALL THINGS? Before HIS COMING?

WHAT DO YOU THINK? IS BEING RESTORED? His Laws, His Statues, His Judgements, His Sabbath and holy set apart days the world are ignorant to or deceived into worshiping on the wrong days!!! of course HE allowed for all this to happen, because His Word tells us this would happen. Matthew 15:9

"But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men."

the 7 year tribulation is a LIE so is a THIRD TEMPLE BEING BUILT LIES!!!!!. YOU, WE are the Temple, Yehshua is the Head He was also our Creators first witness

you need to understand Zechariah 4:14

Hiya Patricia...Gbu ...But not only is there violence in Heaven but John saw war in heaven...Meaning in the spirit... Rev 12 :10...The H.G. is the Kingdom ...Remember soon as Jesus was born the devil was trying to kill him...And in Rev 12 the dragon satan is trying to kill the Manchild...Which is the H.G. a baby Christ ...Thats y Jesus tells us there is gonna be kingdom against Kingdom...Nation against Nation...The Kingdom of God is not in meat or drink but in joy and peace in the H.G....Thats y satan wants to sow a tare in us to destroy the wheat....And the wheat is the H.G. A baby Christ....Simply b/c the sower of that good seed is Christ the Bridegroom...Thus the wheat is a Baby Christ...And satan is the father of the tares....When Jesus said that which is born of the SPIRIT IS SPIRIT thats the H.G. a Baby Christ...An Israel of God...A new nation of Israel via the seed of Christ Thus an Israel that cannot sin...As him that is born of God cannot sin.

.....Thats y Jesus is telling us Unless ya receive the Kingdom as lil Child you will in no wise enter there in...Thats y the New birth is so important....But Satan is not gonna let this happen thus he sows a tare in us to destroy the Wheat...In Rev 12 the dragon tries to destroy the WOMAN and her Child the H.G The kingdom in us...in Humanity...The field is the world where that good seed will be sown....

......But Jesus said where the Body is there will the eagles be gathered together....Jesus said that he wd send the reapers to gather the tares and burn them....The reapers are the eagles that are gonna devour the tares from our Bodies...As our God is a consuming fire that is gona consume satan and his tares..Our bodies are the tabernacle of the H.G. the wheat...The tares are gona be destroyed from our bodies....But we see a great war coming in the spirit....Kingdom against Kingdom

.....She brought forth Manchild that is gona rule all nations....And there was war in heaven Michael and his angels fought....ok

The altar is the only place where our sacrifice will be excepted! It is the place of holiness, consecrated by an ordained and called servent of God!

The difference between the old Testement, and the altar we have now, is , the priest we have now, is in the man, Christ Jesus.

You can hear His words outside the temple, as He says there shall not be left one stone upon another.

This temple that He speaks of, enthralls the alter, an alter of the old covenant. A covenant that would soon be revealed!

An alter that exsists in the sight of a decieved people, a people who worship themselves, the creature, and not the creator!

This temple built by man, this alter, shall not last!

You can count the days, these the prophets and apostles have spoke of.

This new alter has been established for everyone. An alter given unto all men, not just the few, and the proud.

This alter has the permanent blood sacrifice, the permanent odor of sacrifice! This is the new altar the only place that God the Father recognizes your and mine sacrifice! The ultimate sacrifice of His only begotton Son!

    Repent and be Baptized
