In northern and central Europe, reformers like Martin Luther, John Calvin and Henry VIII challenged papal authority and questioned the Catholic Church's ability to define Christian practice. They argued for a religious and political redistribution of power into the hands of Bible- and pamphlet-reading pastors and princes.
The disruption triggered wars, persecutions and the so-called Counter-Reformation, the Catholic Church's delayed but forceful response to the Protestants.
The key ideas of the Reformation-a call to purify the church and a belief that the Bible, not tradition, should be the sole source of spiritual authority.
Rev. 3:10 says
"Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
Thank you so much for your answer to my question . This is really one of the hardest thing, like for example when we are trying to hide an information that will create chaos ... Sometimes it's really confusing what to do ..
No, it is never acceptable to God to lie in any way. We fail in telling the truth in many ways in our day to day lives. Only God is absolutely honest and true. We can admit to this and confess when we are aware that we have been deceitful, dishonest, superficial, etc. and know that we are forgiven in Christ.
Lying is just one of a whole company of sinful tendencies that we easily fall into, sometimes without even thinking about it.
Such things as greed, covetousness, insincerity, selfishness, laziness, short-temperedness, impatience, etc. These things can seem to us to not be "BIG" sins or even sin at all, but when the Holy Spirit speaks to us about these sins, we can know that they have them been taken care of by the blood of Jesus. We also, when the Holy Spirit convicts us, more surely know how deep is our sinful depravity and our need for Jesus' saving work every single moment of every single day.
I am so glad that the Holy Spirit is our Sanctifier, moment by moment changing us to grow in godliness and Christ-mindedness. I say Hallelujah to that!
Jesus promised that He will never leave us nor forsake us. ( Joshua 1:5), He promised that He will be with us always unto the ends of the age. ( Matt. 28:20).
So, be assured that these promises are true and for us as it was for those whom these words were spoken to Joshua and the apostles.
Believe Jesus is truly present with you now whether you are thinking about Him being with you or not, whether you feel as if He is with you or not, whether you sense His presence with you or not.
It was said of Enoch that he walked with God in this life. Also said of Noah and Abraham. Most likely they did not always sense, feel nor were thinking that He was always with them at all times, but He was. Walking with God is done by faith as these patriarchs did, daily seeking to do His will and commune with Him through prayer and worship, but also God was communing with them in the day to day living and activities that occupy our time and minds when we are not directly seeking His Presence. He is still always there with us.
I try to be thankful for this, knowing that there is not a millisecond of time when God is not with me. I am thankful for His constant care and preservation of my life, giving me every breath and heartbeat. I am thankful that I can always turn my heart to Him and inquire about what His will is in any circumstance. And I am thankful for the everyday, seemingly mundane things like a sunny day, rain when it is so needed, the sprouting of seeds for food or flowers, the purr of a cat desiring to be petted and loved on, and the presence of my husband and sons from day to day. I am blessed!
I guess it can be described as simple opposition to GOD, "rebellion is as witchcraft " leading into much worse.

Why do you ask? James 4:7,

Romans 10:1-16
1. Brethern, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.
2. For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.
3. For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
4. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
5. For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.
6. But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)
7. Or, who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
7. But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12. For there is no difference between Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
14. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
15. And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
16. But they have not all obeyed the gospel.
What are your thoughts of the Ark of the Covenant? has it reelly been found in Ethiopa by an american man?
John 4:24 - God is a spirit
John 1 - Jesus was the Word and the Word is God. He was there in the beginning and made everything (verse 3)
1 John 5:7
What I take out of this is God the Father is a spirit, God the Son is a spirit, the Holy Ghost is a spirit.
God the Son took on the flesh and was a man temporary. A vocal minority falsely assumes Jesus was a man first, but John 1:3 debunks that.
I believe human beings are also spirits. We are not our bodies, but just temporarily inhabit them. 1 Corinthians 15:44
.....God wd not have shown Moses these 2 Churubim of Glory if they were not RELATED to God as Absolute Sons of God....Only an ABSOLUTE SON cd share Gods GLORY....Which were Christ and the H.G....( EMANUEL)...God with us in the person of the H.G. and Jesus Christ the very Lamb of God....Of the things we have spoken this is the sum we have such a hy priest ( Jesus ) who is set on the right hand of Majesty in the Heavens ....Jesus was 1 of the Churubims of Glory on the right hand of God in the Ark of the Covenant....And on the mount with God....Moses saw all this when he was with God on the Mount .
......Thus we see 3 in the ARK of the Covenant....The Father between the 2 Churubim of GLORY....In the most Holy Place....And they were all 3 related with the FATHER....God cannot share his Glory with any other being except his absolute Sons....That are also God....ok lemme go.....But this is the 1 st time the trinity is shown in the bible....As the Father between the 2 Churubim of Glory.....
Luke 24:50-53
50. And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them.
51. And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.
52. And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy:
53. And were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.
Luke 24:44-49
44. And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, While I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.
45. Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
46. And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day.
47. And that repentance and remissions of sin should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
48. And ye are witnesses of these things.
49. And behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.
The Godhead (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) are all of one essence-Divinity. This essence is the very Being and nature of God. This Oneness in nature is "what" God is and only God possesses this essence. As One being in essence, God exists in three distinct Persons who have will, intellect, emotions, a mind, an Who interact with one another within this one essence. This is the "Who" of God.
Although this Oneness is impossible for us to completely understand, as God is infinitely Divine and the Persons of the Godhead are inseparably unified within the Godhead. It is not that each Person of the Godhead has the same mind, will, or love for each that makes them One. It is that there is only One Divine essence, which is eternal, infinite, totally unique and unlike anything else. There is none other like Him, nor will there ever be anyone else like Him because everyone else is a created being and cannot acquire this divine essence. This essence (or nature) cannot be added to nor subtracted from. It cannot be communicated (given) to any other being. God alone possesses this nature.
Also, as Jesus said, The Father Himself are one and that He is in the Father and the Father is in Him. ( John 14:9-11) ( John 14:19-20) Jesus came forth from the Father t become Man ( John 16:28) even though the Father and Himself remained One concerning the Divine nature. The Holy Spirit come forth from the Father and the Son to abide within us, but He also remained One with the Father and the Son concerning the Divine Nature.
As human creatures we can admit that the Godhead is beyond human understanding because His essential Being is completely "other" than anything else. This is called His "transcendency" because His Being is beyond our ability to comprehend or even describe as human words cannot fully describe His Being, His Oneness, and being three distinct Persons in One Being. We know what He has revealed to humanity about Himself, but cannot totally understand Him.
Luke 24:36-43
36. And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
37. But they were terrified and affrightened and supposed that they had seen a spirit.
38. And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?
39. Behold my hands and my feet, that is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
40. And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and feet.
41. And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye any meat?
42. And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of a honeycomb.
42. And he took it, and did eat before them.
Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Quench not the Spirit. Despise not prophesyings. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil. And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
God bless.
