This meat (meal) offering is to be a forever statute. So, with Communion, it is for us to be partaken of regularly as believers, as often as we eat and drink of it we bring to remembrance and proclaim the death and resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ.
It says that everyone who touches those who partake of this meal are to be holy. This speaks to being consecrated. Those who partake of the communion are to be believers, thus being made holy by the Holy Spirit's regeneration and sanctification, by the death and resurrection of Jesus, and by the acceptance of the Father, having justified us through the blood of His One and Only Son, Jesus. The work of the Trinity in our salvation is important to recognize. We are reconciled to God by all of the actions of the Persons of the Trinity. Through the grace and favor of the Godhead, we are redeemed and set apart for God as holy priests who serve Him, the Only True God. He alone is God, there is no other, none before Him and none after Him. There will never be any other gods formed because a created being cannot become a god and be given the True God's divine essence. This essence only God possesses, however, being made holy through salvation, we are brought into communion with God and experience His Glory and Love both now and in the life to come. I don't think we can ever overestimate the worth of this experience when, because of our sins, we deserve to never experience this privilege. It is precious and only the angels and saved humans will be given such a marvelously rich gift in being in right relationship with our Great God and Savior, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
This portion of the chapter speaks to the Meat (meal) offering that the priests are to offer with the daily morning and evening burnt offering and peace offering. The priest is to take a handful of the fine flour and combine it with the oil and the frankincense to burn it with the sacrificial animal, with its fat. This will be a sweet and pleasing aroma to the LORD. It is said to be a memorial to the LORD. A memorial is something to be remembered. Perhaps the LORD wanted to the people to remember how He had delivered them from the bondage of slavery and also to realize that He has delivered them from the bondage of sin also through the forgiveness He gives through these offerings (which are a shadow of the sacrifice of Jesus). Perhaps the LORD wants His people to not be forgetful about being truly thankful to Him from their hearts for all He has done for them. We too, should be ever grateful to God for Jesus. We are to offer up holy hands with thanksgiving to God when we pray ( Philippians 4:6) We are told to not forget His benefits to us. This is the effect of having a sort of memorial. Partaking of Communion is such a memorial where we remember His body and blood that was shed for us for the forgiveness of sins. This memorial harkens back to this grain offering in this chapter of Leviticus.
Aaron and his sons are to use the remainder of the grain to make unleavened bread or wafers or cakes for their consumption. It is only to be consumed in the holy place, in the court of the tabernacle of meeting. Even this bread that the priests eat together is considered holy, not common. So the communal eating of it is an act of worship. Our taking of communion is to be eaten with other believers in a holy place as an act of worship. We should beware of partaking of communion in a flippant or insincere way. We are to discern the body and blood of Jesus, we should examine ourselves beforehand, confessing our sins, and honoring God as we partake.
The letter to Ephesus starts with commendable words and then Jesus said He had something against them, they left their first love. My understanding is all they were doing had turned into a job, a habit, or a duty. First in terms of priority, what is most important, what they were doing was without the Love for Jesus, loveless labor. We can get into a routine and lose the light and become noneffective if we are not in a relationship with Jesus and deceive ourselves. It becomes me instead of Him.
God bless,

Ya know , I'm reading here in Rev 11:7 as in the beast comes out of the pit and kills the 2 witnesses. call me frugal but I see it simply as identification purposes, so there can be no mistake as to who John is referring to . as to to who kills them .
The two witnesses are killed during the tribulation, in the middle of to be exact , and the beast isn't released from the pit until after the 1000 years Rev 20:2 , 3

"But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, 'Raca,' is answerable to the court. And anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell."
does anyone have any ideas of the meaning of this?
Neither a church nor a pastor teaches me, I don't read literature written by man, I don't watch television, I get up every morning and anywhere between 12 and 18 hours EVERY day I study the word of God, I have been doing this now for 10 years.
I know who teaches me, he is my LIFE, in him is ALL TRUTH, I do constantly pray to the Father for wisdom and understanding, but he want give it to you if you don't believe HIS WORDS.
It's a KINGDOM, here on earth, ONE KING and all creation his subject, and Christ will bring all to truth at HIS GOOD PLEASURE, not necessarily in the age we are now in, he is going to raise the unbelievers back into their flesh and JUDGE THEM.
Isaiah 26:9 ....when thy judgements are in the earth, the inhabitants of the earth WILL LEARN RIGHTEOUSNESS ....
Salvation is not man's doing IT'S GOD'S DOING.
I know you don't believe this, and this is fine, GOD'S WILL BE DONE.
God Bless YOU!
You will be alive when Christ comes back, Christ has already come, the SECOND TIME, to everyone that is BORN AGAIN of TRUTH and LIFE, those Christ dwell in, will never die, you just switch bodies so you can reign with Christ.
Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many (first coming in the flesh); and unto them that look for him he shall appear the SECOND TIME (Christ in you, truth and life, in you) without sin UNTO SALVATION.
I am going to give you a different perspective of Zechariah, you seem to have already come to truth that we have to be destroyed, flesh and blood can not enter the Kingdom of God.
Zechariah 14:2 This shall be the plaque of them which have fought fight against Jerusalem ......everyone was born into deception, Jerusalem, is TRUTH, we all fight against Jerusalem ...... their (our) flesh (deception) shall consume away while they stand on their feet ..... deception is of this world, truth is of the next world, deception (flesh) cannot live with truth, it has to be destroyed ......
This same thing is described in Revelation 19, the marriage supper of the Lamb, we have to have our flesh eaten from us.
God Bless YOU, as Christ leads you into all truth.
There are Messianic prophecies here such as in verse 5 (which as the trivia passage indicates is seen in the passage on Stephen in Acts as well).
Verse 19 and 20 show the benefits of those who FEAR Him in terms of promises of protection (again either THROUGH trials or from them). Verse 23 shows the general future in eternity as it stands for the righteous in contrast with the wicked. These themes not only repeat themselves in alternative verses in many Psalms but througout the O.T. and even the New Testament in many places. One good example is in John 3:16; we compare that to those who do NOT believe in verses 17 to 18 and their resulting fate. Perhaps this will teach us to not only test ourselves to see if we are in the faith; but to be careful judging others when looking at outward appearances. Today; sadly some would look at Phillipians 2:27 and Epaphroditus and think that he wasn't being "blessed" due to his health issues. There are those today who may have done things such as tattoos to themselves at an earlier time (or are detransitioning) that nonetheless are true believers now. There may be scars from earlier sins as well; but God can use anyone who has submitted to Him if truly Born Again).
Verse 12
The United States should take heed to this verse
For the nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish ,yea those nations ,shall be utterly wasted
Our country seems to have forgotten the ruler if the universe, our one true Heavenly Father .
I've been wrong in my life before and I'm sure you have too. Yes, at least one of us is wrong and the one who is wrong will think he's right and be very confident about it. The goal should be to find the truth, do you agree?
The Bible says satan exists and is the father of lies John 8:44. He tries to derail us, twist our thinking, create doubt, entice us with false teachings. This doesn't just happen to others, it can happen to us. So how can we be assured we haven't fallen into his trap and are believing his lies?
I believe God's word is true, and He is the source of truth. James 1:5 says we can ask for wisdom and He will honor that. An important component of finding the truth would then be praying to God and asking for His help and confirmation. I'm praying about this right now and I encourage you to do the same.
Earl, have you prayed and asked God for wisdom on this topic and to confirm in your heart what the truth is?
