Thank you GiGi. I would just like to say to you GiGi, don't let anything discourage you from trying to get others to see the truth. What you teach against the pre-tribulation rapture theory is correct! The more you study it the more you will see that. Instead of getting off the subject, dig even deeper into it. You are right we all should be learning from one another. Iron sharpens Iron. God Bless you GiGi.

    Jimbob:

Revelation is the revealing of JESUS CHRIST

The 42 months in Revelation is the 3 1/2 years of Christ ministry in the flesh; ending in HIS death and resurrection, not the reign of a single man called antichrist.

The verses are talking about the works of Satan; which is the spirit of antichrist, not a SINGLE antichrist, everyone starts with this spirit of antichrist and it has to be DESTROYED.

His resurrection DESTROYED the works of Satan:

1 John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil (they blaspheme God's name), for the devil sinneth from the beginning. FOR THIS PURPOSE was the Son of God manifested. That HE (truth) might DESTROY the WORKS of the DEVIL (lies and deception).

You believe antichrist is flesh and blood, a single MAN, God's world says:

Ephesians 6:12 We wrestle not against FLESH and BLOOD (a single antichrist), but against -----the SPIRIT of ANTICHRIST: the carnal mind in ALL OF US -----It has to be DESTROYED and REPLACED with the mind of Christ.

2 Thessalonians 2:8 An when that WICKED (deceived mind, the spirit of antichrist) be REVEALED (in ALL of US), Whom the LORD (the WORD) SHALL CONSUME (destroy) with the spirit of his mouth (the WORD of GOD), and shall DESTROY withe the BRIGHTNESS of HIS COMING (Christ in you, truth and life IN YOU).

Matthew 12:28 But if I (the WORD) cast out devils (lies and deception) BY the Spirit of GOD (truth and life) then the KINGDOM HAS COME UNTO YOU.

    God BLESS YOU!

    ( Matthew 18:6, NLT)

6.But if you cause one of these little ones who trusts in me to fall into sin, it would be better for you to have a large millstone tied around your neck and be drowned in the depths of the sea.

-This bible verse speaks of false prophets or preachers that miss lead the church of God.

The false preachers have turned the gospel of God to of no effects.

The false preacher when you read the word of God you will notice that they haven't be sent but have sent themselves. Hence the message they preach is made up and under demonic influence.

-Jesus the son of God is saying this to those false preachers who have no fear of God and don't understand that God is the creator of heaven and earth and it is He who made us and those false Preacher it is better for them to have a millstone hang around their neck and them to drown into the sea than be in the hands of God who is a consuming fire Hebrews 12:29

This bible verse has no reference to Judas but point out the little ones are children in faith

Please Pray for understanding which Cames from God

S Spencer Thanks again for your response. This one doesn't take very much to prove you are taking these verses out of context Spencer. A look at the Original meaning of the word (taken) will do that. Mt.24:40-41 Tell us "one shall be taken, and the other left" The word (taken) is #3880; it means to receive near, associate with oneself (in a familiar act or relation) to assume an office, to learn, receive, take, (unto, with) In Jn.14:3 Jesus tells us "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, AND RECEIVE YOU UNTO MYSELF; that where I am, there ye may be also. Jesus comes to (receive) us unto himself, that would be the one taken! Those left on the earth will face the wrath of God for not believing in His Son Jesus Christ. The elect in Mt.Ch.24 are the ones raptured, or taken out before the wrath of God is poured out on the disobedient ones left on the earth to face Gods wrath. The word (wrath) is #3709; it means violent passion, or [justifiable] abhorrence, by implying punishment, anger, indignation, vengeance, wrath. In Jn.3:36 Jesus tells us "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. (If we believe on the Son we will be taken, delivered, or rescued from the wrath to come.) Just to add a little to this, the word (tribulation) is #2347; it means pressure, afflicted (-tion) anguish, burdened, persecution, trouble. (We will feel pressure, anguish, be burdened, suffer persecution, be troubled, But not face the wrath of God) The words (tribulation) and (wrath) are not the same, the meaning of the words in the Original language should be enough to prove that. And by the way Spencer I dont believe in Post-trib! I believe its Post-trib, and Pre-wrath. We go through great tribulation, but we will not face the wrath of God. Thank you again Spencer, there is nothing like being in the Word of God today, The Word of God Is Alive! God Bless you.

    Hi,

The word of God is Bread and so we need daily bread to sustain our Hunger and that's by search the scriptures daily.

Before reading your bible, you need to Pray and ask God to open His word for your understanding, Wisdom comes from God and the wisdom which he gives is not like the world.

    In proverbs 4:7

its written wisdom is the principal thing and in all your getting get understanding.

So, I encourage you to pray and begin with God.

    ( Matthew 4:3-4, KJV)

3.And when the tempter came to him, he said, if thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

4But he answered and said, it is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

    Part (B)

HI Things to remember when you make your vows before God.

1.Serve God with fear and trembling for He made us and not we, so we are in His creating and when we pray, we enter into his presence.

2.All the vows that you make is being recorded by an angle and one day we will give an account of each man's words.

3.When you pray BeCareful for your mouth will cause you to sin if you fail to pay your vows before God

4.Don't fail to pay your vows and cause God to destroy the works of your hands.

    It's written in

    ( Ecclesiastes 5:4-6 kjv)

4.When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed.

    5. Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay.

    6. Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither say thou before the angel, that it was an error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thine hands

pray to God to give you understanding Amen

    Part (A)

    Hi

Please Pray for understanding which Cames from God.

Remember its written in James 1:8 a double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

So, when you came to the alter to pray you are communicating with God and God does hear our prayers.

Remember Cornelius when he was in his room Praying and an angle appeared to him to and said.

    (Your Prayers have been Heard)

    Acts 10:31

31 and said, 'Cornelius, your prayer has been heard, and your [a]alms are remembered in the sight of God.

As indicated by the word of God, our Prayers are heard and God takes our prayers seriously, In the book of Hebrews we see that the prophets prayed by faith and God answered their Prayers and Shut heavens and no rain poured for three years.

So, it's important when one makes a vow before God to be able to perform it by fulfilling what you have told God you will do.

    (For teaching purposes)

For example, a young man once prayed before God and ask God to help him go to a foreign country and he will preach the Gospel to the world. Within few days or weeks God answered His prayers and opened that chance to happen. Now that young man had received his request and one day God opened the chance for His word to be preached around the world though that young man.

Now if this young man preaches the gospel, he will perform his vows Before God. but if he fails to do so then he will be a fool who has not kept his word before God, and a double minded man unstable in his way.

Its also important to note that God is faithful who will also do it.

So while Praying before God be sure what you request you will do it, or else do ask if you know you will be unable to pay your vows before God.

S Spencer Thank you for your response. You ask How are we tested? If were protected against the tribulation and kept in it. (This will be a time of testing for ALL that dwell on the earth, but if we keep His Word we will not be tempted) Rev.3:8 says ,"and hath (kept my word), and hath not denied my name". Rev.3:10 Says "Because thou hast (kept the word) of my patience". Because they have kept His word, and do not deny His name they will not be deceived or tempted by the antichrist. Rev.13:5-8 Tell us the antichrist is given power for 42 months,(This will be great tribulation, the time of testing) v.8 says all that dwell on the earth shall worship him, ((whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.)) If your name is written in the book of life you will still be on the earth at this time, but you have kept His Word and that will keep you from being deceived as to not accept the mark of the beast. There are 7 churches, to ALL 7 He said "He that overcometh, or to him that overcometh" and those who overcome will receive ((from Jesus Christ good things)). Rev.2:7 is (Ephesus) Rev.2:11 is (Smyrna) Rev.2:17 is (Pergamos) Rev.2:26 is (Thyatira) Rev.3:5 is (Sardis) Rev.3:12 is (Philidelphia) Rev.3:21 is (Laodicea) ALL 7 CHURCHES have those who overcome! Rev.21:7 Tell us "He that overcometh shall inherit all things, and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. (Spencer are all who overcome from all 7 churches raptured out before the tribulation?) Rev.2:10 Says "Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, and ye shall be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. This is the church of Smyrna and they are not raptured out before the tribulation, but some overcome. If this time were not shortened in Mt.24:22, Believers would not be able to endure to the end! Keep thee from, is not to take out.

Do not be like the preterists, who do not believe in God and his report but turn to themselves and the truth to fables. God has declared the beginning of the end and the end of this age (that is the new beginning; with the new heaven and the new earth). This shall be an everlasting kingdom, and nothing shall enter into it that defiles it. And there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor pain, for these former things are passed away. "And he said to me: "It is done! I am Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give freely from the fountain of the water of life. He that overcometh shall inherit all things, and I will be his God, and he shall be my son." - [ Revelation 21:6-7]

And this is true because it has been given to us in these last days according to the testimony of the holy angels and John, but it is his word that is faithful and true.

Expect no less, for truthfully the kingdom of heaven is not yet established here on the earth. Romans 14:17 by definition; God's kingdom is spiritual; Righteousness, joy, peace in the Holy Spirit, not mead and drink.

Luke 17:20-21; "And when he was asked by the scribes and the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God would come, he answered them, saying, "The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor shall they say, Look here or look there! for behold, the kingdom of God is within you." (We cannot see it but is within us now; as we already know).

Appart from this, The kingdom of heaven is physical. Be it on earth or in heaven.

John the Baptist always preached; "The kingdom of heaven is near!" Jesus also said that the Jews should repent, because the kingdom of heaven is near and was, for Jesus himself had come down, in so manner that they might know the times and the seasons and so that they would seek to know him.

    Amen, Amen Nacol1900:

We are the exactness of Christ, and the kingdom is VERY PHYSICAL; just not the physical that the eye of flesh can see.

We are still with CHILD until we depart this body (the RAPTURE, gathered one by one).

Then we PUT ON CHRIST; not only immortal LIFE, but also an omnipresent BODY.

Luke 20:36 Neither can they (the new creation) DIED ANYMORE: for they are EQUAL unto the ANGELS (omnipresent); and are the CHILDren of GOD, being the CHILDren of the Resurrection.

THE MAN Jesus Christ ....is the BODY of the of the HOLY GHOST ...... OMNIPRESENT ....He is THE ANGEL .... we don't give up our body, we just exchange the MORTAL for the IMMORTAL (the RAPTURE).

Ephesians 4:4 ....ONE BODY ...... ONE SPIRIT .....

John 17:22 And the glory that thou GAVEST ME, I have GIVEN to THEM (the new CHILD), that they may be ONE even as we are ONE.

John 1:51 ....hereafter (the resurrection) you shall see (not with the physical eye) heaven open (the BODY of man) and the angels ascending and descending of the Son of man (the new creation)---- CHRIST IN YOU ----

Isaiah 60:22 And a little one (Christ) shall BECOME a THOUSAND, a small one (Christ) a STRONG NATION (Israel).

    God Bless YOU!

Verse 11......"11 The Lord announces the word, and the women who proclaim it are a mighty throng:" (NIV )

Some translations use the word "women" in place of "company". NIV and ASV use women. Wonder why? This verse was used on banners by marchers in 1920 in their effort to support women's right to vote. I am confused. Why was it altered in some versions?

Make no mistake, you are saved by obedience of the gospel, it is not just believing it.

Water Baptism is all through the new testament bible. Peter preached Acts 2:38. Again he was not in error.

I cannot understand how the rapture cd be physical....When God and his Kingdom is spiritual....And Rev 11:15..The angel said the kingdoms of this world have become the Kingdoms of our Lord and his Christ....And he shall reign for ever and ever...Thus the Kingdom of heaven will be with in us right here on this earth.....The H.G. is the Kingdom....Remember Jesus said thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven....But Heaven is in the spiritual realm....The Kingdom of God is not in meat or drink but in joy and peace in the H.G....Which is spirit....Meeting him in the air is just prophetic of meeting him in the spirit...On the day of Pentecost they met him in the air which was that mighty rushing wind....Which was the H.G....Jesus just uses air and wind as symbolic language for the H.G. ....But he was talking bout the spirit..We meet him in the spirit which is that gift of the H.G....Which is that Child of PROMISE that has to be born in us....Thats y he is saying that which is BORN, BORN of the spirit tis spirit the H.G. Our new heart and new spirit our new innerman A BABY...unless you receive the Kingdom of God as a lil Child...A baby Christ...That which is BORN of the spirit is spirit the H.G...A spiritual infant that cannot speak of himself for a season....Which is the manchild that is gonna rule all nations....But he has to be BORN in us via the seed of the sower the bridegroom's seed thus a baby Christ...The Son of Man...Mankinds fruit unto God... Romans 7:4...The word BORN implies a living being is gonna be born in us..Which is spirit...the Kingdom is a HIM...Seek ye 1st the Kingdom of God and HIS Righteousness.

This is how Jesus describes the Rapture....Unless you receive the KINGDOM OF GOD as a lil Child you will in no wise enter there in...The KiNGDOM of God has to come as a child...A spiritual Birth...Thats y the new birth is so important...and thats y he has to know us.. The Child the kingdom cannot come unless he KNOWS us ..The good seed.

    Hi,

My understanding of speaking in tongue is this.

This is a gift of God the Holy Spirit and He gives it to Whoever He chooses and some Of us have different Gifts and By Us I mean Christians who have Repented of their sins at the cross and believe in Lord Jesus christ the son of God who died at the cross and His blood washed away our sins. and This is a gift of God and none of our working.

-Most christians tend to stick to speaking in tongue but instead of praying and asking God to show us what gifts or Gift He has for us for the edification of His Ministry.

-The only way to find out is by Prayer, came in faith Before Jesus the son of God and ask Him to show (us) you what Gifts He has prepared for you.

    Its written in Ephesians 2:10

10,For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

I pray that this helps you Amen

Thanks brother S. Spencer for the fuller understanding of Revelation 3:10. Jimbob was quite correct on the word "keep" in that verse (as he wrote): "The word (keep) is #5083; it means to guard, (from loss or injury, properly by keeping the eye upon)". But as you pointed out, the whole phrase needs to be considered to get the meaning.

So, in this case, the Greek would read, "tereso ek" = 'to keep from'; (with 'ek', meaning, 'from out, out from among, from'). If we apply any other inference from this phrase, other than 'keeping or guarded from', then we have to ask the questions, 'how is the Lord Jesus going to guard the Church from (or even, during) this hour of trial upon the whole world?' Will He shelter, protect, or even move the Church to a distant place to avoid this trial (tribulation)? What then should the Church make of the warnings about not receiving the anti-Christ's mark, of various physical sufferings, even beheadings, if Christ has secured us ("kept us") from such testings? Then there arises a problem in understanding the position of the Church: pre, mid, or post tribulation, & the appearance of the anti-Christ & subsequent trials believers face or don't face. Only the pre-trib position adequately fits the meaning of this verse.

Actually, the problem I do have with these verses is, 'whatever happened to the Philadelphian Church to whom this promise was made?' Philadelphia, a well known city has long gone/in ruins, with only a handful of the taller building columns exposed above the ground, and the city, Alasehir, now built on top of it. This Church never realized the promise given to them, but the Church today all over the world can confidently hang onto it as we await the Lord's return.

    I'm sorry S. Spencer,

I don't recall saying that there is not rapture in Scripture. I may have said that there is no pre-trib rapture plainly spoken of in the Scripture.

It is funny that you would say that the rapture can be pre or post trib. A while ago when I spoke of the rapture being described by Jesus in Matt. 24, you plainly said that that was not the rapture

I am kind of done with this discussion on the rapture, the millennium, and dispensationalism. People can take what I have said and check it to Scripture and think for themselves. Just as I do when someone else posts their thoughts.

I certainly do not expect people to accept what I say straight . I hope that what I post will stimulate of challenge someone to find out more for themselves.

Have a good night's sleep. It is late here again. I hope I can get to snooze level soon tonight.

Or maybe, S. Spencer, you, too, need to be open to seriously considering another's viewpoint by holding it up to what Scripture actually says. I am open to that.

I have given concrete Scriptural citations that Jesus does not come before the Tribulation to rapture believers from 2 Thessalonians 2, Matt. 24 and elsewhere. I have given Scripture citations that warn against being deceived by anyone who says that his coming is at hand ( 2 Thessalonians 2:3, Luke 21:8. I gave Scripture citations concerning that Jesus coming will not be secret or invisible, but will be seen by everyone, with brightness, trumpet sounds, shout, etc. Can you believe these Scriptures? Or will you continue to hold onto your belief s in a secret, invisible, imminent pre-trib rapture?

I am willing to change my beliefs when Scripture plainly teaches a correction to my view. Are you?

I am not trying to be difficult here, but you seem to feel so free to discredit my views or approach, but I do not see a willingness on your part to truly consider what I have said and hold it up to Scripture.

I pray that we both will remain open to learning from one another as the Spirit leads us. I pray that we will apply our minds to studying Scripture in the best way we are able and not accuse another of being ignorant in one's understanding, as you have to me. Let tje love of Christ guide us and the fellowship of the Spirit always be foremost between us.

    Brother Chris,

Thank you for sharing this information on dispensationalism. Over the years I have heard the term but never took the time to research or study it out. It seems that this word has been tossed around quite frequently over the last three weeks. From what you have just shared, I suppose I also stand guilty along with you and brother Spencer.

My beliefs on this latest topic (Rapture) come from studying scripture, not from studying what dispensationalists teach and then choosing to agree because it fits what I've been taught, or what I want it to believe.

It's been said that there are so many holes in the pre-trib rapture, but I think the same can also be said of post-trib. There are at least three views on the timing of the rapture, and some say there is no rapture at all.

Brother, unless the Lord by His Spirit shows me otherwise, I stand with you on this one!
  • GIGI - In Reply - 2 years ago
    S. Spencer,

I have searched Scripture about the topic of whether the millennium will be on earth or in heaven.

In doing so, I find many verses in both the OT and NT that prophesy about Jesus reigning on the earth from Jerusalem. So I may be wrong in my initial viewpoint.

But also, since Revelation is Apocalyptic writing, there is usually lots of figurative language and symbolism involved in such type of writing in both the OT an NT.

For now, I will go with what you have said, that the millennium takes place on earth.

Thank you for pointing that out to me.

    Hi Jimbob.

    Matthew 24:37-42.

But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

How do you view this section of scripture? Rapture? Who's taken away? The righteous?

I say it's not a Rapture verse at all I believe it's judgment at the end of the age. And the elect here is Israel. Not the Church as some say.

Those taken away in the flood was those outside the ark.

We are told to watch and be ready.

    Why?

    So we can escape?

    Escape what?

    The Lords wrath right?

If we're not appointed to wrath there must be a way of escape.

So when do we escape? Pre-trib or Post?

    So far either works, right?

The issue with the Post-trib view at this point is that it's not eminent. We know that there's seven years that has to go by.

I say eminent means he can come now.

And we escape because we're not appointed to wrath.

    We're Children of the Light.

    1 Peter 2:8.

We've been made ready by the blood of Christ.

    God bless.

I'm not criticizing your belief Gigi,

    It's a popular belief

Just understand that when dealing with such topics God didn't make it simple.

We have to do as Philip did to the Ethiopian Eunuch. Ge explained to him Jesus "By using the scripture not repetition or numbers.

It's just as easy to ask why and how do one come to his conclusion than say he is adding to scripture because maybe he's not.

    God bless and good night.
