Then Why Did Jesus Keep It Or Even The Disciples
  • Chris - In Reply - 4 years ago
Thank you Rick. I've referenced this point in another thread.

Jesus says most people won't go to heaven, but we have total freewill to choose who we want to follow: Jesus or satan.

This site has a page with more verses...

    Link

I've been seeing people posting lately to try to convince us Jesus is wrong and instead they are right, which is ludicrous. If that doesn't wave a giant red flag I don't know what else will. Obviously we should believe God's word over man's word any day. It's amazing how hard people try to twist things, as if they have something against the Bible. Beware of satan prowling like a lion waiting to devour. 1 Peter 5:8

Matthew 5:17 I Want To Agree With Our Lord For The The Bible Says That We Ought To Walk Even As Our Lord Walked
  • Rick - In Reply on Genesis 1 - 4 years ago
Chris Sorry I answered the the first one, 2nd mistake i made today.
  • Rick - In Reply on Genesis 1 - 4 years ago
Chris I respect and understand what your saying I have the same respect admiration and awe for our Almighty

Father, and as Jesus Christ said when we come to God as such with the heart of a child he is more than willing to

meet the need. Too many Christians either approach with self righteous arrogance or I'm not good enough,

no balance we have been made righteous in Gods way by His spirit that doesn't mean be haughty or high minded

about it or I'm not good enough and almost beg for help. God wants neither the balance is the word and walking

by the spirit. That includes meekness and humility traits not of the five senses. Our father wants to help us His children and willing to give them anything according to His Word. In respect of the devils or demon

i'll stick with my position the enemy isn't going to soften what he does so i'll stick with original scripture description

there are too many things being labeled its O.K. if this makes me tough spiritually so be it.

Also too many people who are wanting to believe are asking which bible is closets to the truth! That alone is alarming

I stick with kjv and work the original languages it was translated from and studies from eastern culture which

makes a dramatic difference in belief and understanding. That being shared I'm moving on Brother God bless.

These are just two of many verses about the importance of the cross, and Jesus salvation on the cross.

John 14:6-7, "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

"If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him."

Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:" "Not of works, lest any man should boast."

Hi Rick. I was citing the following Scriptures: Isaiah 66:5 and Jeremiah 5:22. In both verses, the narrative around them was to warn His people that God is a God Who cannot be taken lightly, ignored or despised. Israel & Judah were in every sense, God's chosen & beloved ( Jeremiah 31:1-3) - no matter whatever they did to displease Him, they remained his precious possession ( Ezekiel 44:28), but they would suffer under His Hand if they disobeyed. Yet, they continued to do so even to despising the Messiah of God & crucifying Him.

While the natural branches of the olive tree were cut off so that those who call upon the Name of Jesus, might be engrafted in ( Romans 11:16-20), the engrafted ones (the adopted children of God), are in no more favourable position than what Israel enjoyed as being the 'natural branches of the tree'. We can indeed call Him 'Abba', come to Him anywhere, anytime, anyhow, & enjoy His Gracious Presence through His Spirit, but if we hold Him in awe & wonder, we also demonstrate that through our treatment of His Glory & Holiness & with the Word which He has given us.

My reference to all this was to how we ought to read, understand & share God's Word. This is not a history book or novel that we can gloss over & give our impressions based on personal beliefs & sentiments, but the Word of God that requires careful, prayerful, & spiritual handling, both for our own exercises & for others. Given we have such a Book & such an Holy God, can we give them any less reverence & fear than those to whom God gave a sampling of His Glory ( Exodus 3:4-6; Isaiah 6:1-5; Ezekiel 1:28; Revelation 15:4-8). Israel could only approach God through the ministry of God's High priest & they enjoyed His blessings. We approach the same God through our High Priest, the Lord Jesus Christ, providing us such an access. Yet, the God of Israel has never changed - His love is the same - our stance before Him & His Word must be the same: one of great seriousness & carefulness.

Amen brother. Sometimes we have to go back to basics. Yah, thank you for saving me!

Hi Curray Sheaks. The bible speaks of judgement. We know it is Yah's will for everyone to come to a knowledge of him, but many will not. God Bless!

  • Mishael on true Apostles - 4 years ago
Guys, don't read or listen to Jonas Clark. He's calling himself an Apostle. I apologize.

Apostles are only those disciples who witnessed the resurrected Jesus.

I did see one of my favorite preachers, DAVID WILKERSON, has a Jezebel Sermon from the book of Revelation, 7 Churches in the End of days. It's about what Jesus spoke concerning churches being polluted by Jezebel.

Also you might be blessed by listening to David Wilkersons message on youtube: A Call to Anguish. It's very powerful, as in anointed. I need to hear it again now. All this hell business and Jonas getting the big head is upsetting.

    Ezekiel 2 is the chapter.
  • Adam - In Reply - 4 years ago
Earl, that is great you're looking into the word and sharing scriptures. I believe 100% in God's Word, but I do not believe your interpretation of it. It seems to require at least 2 levels of twisting, because you shared that: 1. You do not believe the Bible's translation is correct, and 2. You believe hell is figurative.

And the vast majority of Bible readers disagree with you. The Bible isn't complicated on matters of salvation. It's so easy, children can understand it. Jesus died to save us from hell if we accept His gift and follow Him. If you don't believe in hell and that everyone is saved, what exactly are they 'saved' from?

Do you have a response to my previous comment about this?

Also, have you genuinely prayed and asked God about if what you're saying and telling others is actually true?

    God bless...
  • Chris - In Reply on Genesis 1 - 4 years ago
Thank you Rick - point taken. I've replied to David also on this matter, if you could refer to that.
  • Chris - In Reply on Genesis 1 - 4 years ago
Thank you David. True, translations have continued to evolve over time & often, & in an attempt for making it more understandable to succeeding generations, they have sometimes lost the original meaning of the word. I guess, those of us who read from the KJV are at fault also, as it is simply an 'older' English translation/wording of the original languages. And we know that we often need to go back to the originals to learn about the matter more clearly.

A recent example we've been dealing with on KJBO, is the matter of 'gods', where the original word is 'Elohim'. One can be pedantic & state that the word only applies to the True God, therefore every appearance of the word must mean that men, angels, etc. must also be 'a god' as well; whereas that generic name has other meanings which need correct application in context. Where I get troubled is when the newer translations do not remain faithful to the original languages because of their quest to make verses more understandable, or even omitting verses altogether.

In regards to 'devils', in Luke 11:15 we read, "But some of them said, He casteth out devils through Beelzebub the chief of the devils." In the Greek, the word is 'daimonion', from which of course, we get 'demons', & this is defined as 'evil spirits, heathen deities, demons'. However, the KJV chooses to use 'devils', which is also correct. I don't believe anything is lost by using 'demons or evil spirits'.
  • Jezebel false prophets on Social Media - 4 years ago
I just noticed that "SOCIAL MEDIA ministries have "smack downed" Jonas Clark posts on YouTube.

Anyone doing anything to help people be freed will suffer persecution, as is: ACCUSING and ACCUSATIONS. We know who the Accuser is.

Jonas was by himself until people started getting freed. The PRAYER against the Jezebel Spirit is on his Google site.

I had no idea that such a controversy has ballooned from 2 years ago. YOU CAN TRUST Derek Prince teachings. He was an anointed man of God, who is in heaven now.

Compare everything of social media with what scripture says.

Hi Gigi This is my end to this How do you know that, please don't be offended because that's far from my intention

I've never read that in scripture.
  • T. Levis - In Reply on Ecclesiastes 1 - 4 years ago
Your answer to negativity from Ecclesiastes is great! Encouragement for today! Thank you.
  • Rick - In Reply - 4 years ago
Hi Gigi Your over thinking this, just thought you would like it.
  • Rick - In Reply - 4 years ago
    T. Lewis There is a major difference between being attacked and bringing attention to something or someone,

if a believer is not on with correct doctrine and its that blatant walking in love is bringing attention to it. But if not

adhered to then drop it or move on. also the holy Spirit is not going to teach one person one thing about scripture

and on the same subject matter an entirely different thing, that is confusion and that goes downhill.

Just making a point, I don't question just to question I question to understand.
  • T. Levis - In Reply - 4 years ago
Brother Earl, Brother Adam, I believe this is an important issue to discuss. Perhaps it is the HOLY Spirit that is having us gather here together to discuss this.

I'm only addressing the two of you by name (right now) because you are both correct (on most) of these issues & today Earl I think people do need to know & address; there are differences in eternity & grave. Today the world faces many issues & decisions that lead to the grave. (I have lost many loved ones, from decisions that led to destruction, ultimately the grave) examples smoking, addictions, drinking etc.) we today have sugar flooding our foods & obesity even in medical practice. The biggest discussion in society, religion & political is actually right in line with 'which destruction?' "death', immunization, etc. Luke 9:25, Mark 8:36, John 12:25, Matthew 16:26,

I would like eveyones input on= What do feel the LORD leading us to discuss about the differences? Where our focuses should be? How do we discuss people making bad health choices?

Please even address this Matthew 15:19, if you would.

I would like to grow some in understanding.
  • RECOGNIZING the Enemy - In Reply - 4 years ago
We should all "deep study" the evil spirit of Jezebel. It's in the Bible; teachings by Pastors on Google; and on YouTube.

We're all seeing IT in action, by all these HELL teachings. Why wouldn't she want to mislead the body of Christ.

There is only one way to get rid of this evil, wicked spirit. I AM NOT CALLING ANYONE IN HERE evil. We must recognize the true evil. Discern rightly. Put on our armor; and Aim it at something that is INVISIBLE. Ephesians 6.

It's not "she" Jezebel. IT IS an evil spirit. It shows up where TRUTH ABOUT JESUS CHRIST, and Him crucified, is being preached. Now go study. Pray the correct names.

Pray for those taken captive..as I am. These are brothers and sisters.

    Mishael
